Layton: Curious Village in HD

Fun game and good puzzles but it sucks to not be able to play it in landscape - my husband and I got Playpass to play through these games together and we SmartCast it to the TV and it's stuck in portrait :/ Would love this feature to be added!

The first Layton I ever played when I was 9, and I was HOOKED. I still love playing these games today. The charms were a fun addition! If you like mystery, exploring and puzzles, with a heartwarming story, i would definitely recommend trying this game!

some of the puzzles are poorly explained so that there are multiple answers, it is a bit frustrating to follow the rules of the puzzle as described but still get it incorrect. Also, the puzzles feel a bit shoved in, they aren't really relevant to the story. it isn't as good as some of the escape games that have more of a plot and puzzles that seem more logical to the story and progression through the game.

Was able to download and play on my google Pixel 7. Just got the Google Pixel 9 and after downloading the app it just won't open. I click on the icon to open and nothing happens. Have done tons of app troubleshooting options I've found online but no success.

Really liked the game. The puzzle charms were annoying but past that the puzzles are incredible. Can count on one hand the amount of puzzles i didn't enjoy in this game

Beautiful classic puzzle game with beautiful art and story. I downloaded it for the nostalgia, but unfortunately game is crashing a lot and touch control is laggy. I am using brand new S24+. Hopefully they will fix these issues.

An absolute classic let down by poor touch controls. No fault to the game or puzzles or the story but the port from the DS is lazy without any attention to the difference between mobile touch screens for fingers and DS that uses a stylus. As a result the response is incredibly laggy and some puzzles especially the sliding puzzles are very difficult to manipulate. It's easy to miss out on story text if you tap after it hasn't advanced it can suddenly advance 2 in a row. A real shame.. please fix

A lovely HD mobile version of the DS classic. The vertical layout of the original game translates well to a mobile phone, and being able to knock out a few puzzles at a time while on-the-go is great. Big recommendation for fans of puzzles of course.

It's a good game that is well made. I am a dumbass and couldn't figure out the puzzles after the first few had gone by, so I ended up just reading a walkthrough of the puzzles and doing what it said, so I wasn't really playing the game. I gave up very early in the story. I guess Professor Layton games aren't for me.

Fantastic puzzles, more than a hundred of them and they are not your typical room escape kind of puzzle, they are more of those IQ testing kind and sometimes test your ability to spot the trick in the question. There is a unique storyline with quality graphics too. Highly recommended for puzzle lovers, buy and support the developer if you can.
