I wish Creeks had a paid version so I didn’t need Apple Pay, it’s only reason I haven’t finished that game.

This is so cute. I love the graphics, the story, and the variety of puzzles. They’re not all easy, but there are hints. This game is excellent and so worth getting. Thank you devs!
- Phyl610 · v3.0.9
Fantastic game, makes sense it’s won awards. It’s a beautiful puzzle game that makes you explore and think outside the box (though, it has hints available if needed). With zero knowledge going into it, it does take a second to get a hold of the situation (but that could be on purpose, since it explains as the story progresses). Worth it once you get the hang of it- I love replaying it, even after years.

This game is the og. I love everything about it and it made my childhood. Keep making games like this.
- nikita1GGx · v3.0.9
I downloaded this hastily in an airport after reading a few positive reviews, then spent the next several hours trying to make sense of a game with no instructions or tutorial of any kind to teach you how to play it. I’m not averse to difficult puzzles, but I’m not looking for the actual learning of the basic game mechanics to be difficult. Also I get the impression that this would be better on a computer. The functionality on a smartphone is limited. It’s so hard to know what is interactable and what isn’t, and everything is so small it’s hard to see what things even are sometimes. I eventually just got fed up and decided to play games I already had. Great art style though. I’m sure this is fun for people who know how the heck it works and can see the details.

This is top tier game. I love it. I need second part for this

Игра отличная но почему у меня почти всегда когда йозеф куда то уходит он иногда ходит по стене
- Timurkzn · v3.0.9
Why don't you just add "Muscaria" at the end of "your dev's name as well". I don't believe using the name "Amanita" is a good choice since young people are playing this game. You even have a mushroom symbol representing the classic psychedelic "amanita muscaria" mushroom I do not care what you "meant" the name to mean here. It points to something highly inappropriate for younger people
- Reinkejohn4 · v3.0.9
Best throwback game.
- Happyroach123 · v3.0.9
This game is kinda hard. I couldn’t get past the part with the arcade because the games were too tricky. Otherwise it is a great game. Don’t worry I know how it ends. I watched a play through On YouTube because I wanted to see what happens Update: made it past the arcade games!🕹️👾

i love this game, im so glad i found this after 6 yrs of hunting for it. this is peak childhood game. 10/10
- 2bnoelle · v3.0.9
Art is absolutely wonderful but the puzzle answers made no sense. Controls are janky as heck. Looks blurry on my large iPad screen. Had a tutorial basically walk me through the entire thing
- Nomis_encore · v3.0.9
They took the game straight from pc to mobile without putting any extra effort to make the game easier to play. Even though I have a pro max its hard to see and control. I kept clicking on the wrong place and character already takes years to move. Thats game design but hurts when you do the same thing twenty times.

You can’t execute a critical function due to the items being stored at the very top of the screen where you trigger the phone’s notifications screen every time you try to access an item. When you are able to snag an item, you can’t give it to the robot if he’s at the bottom of the screen. Such a terrible oversight. Where was QA? This should not be listed as an iPhone supported app because it’s not.

I love this game so much!! I have played it so many times! The artwork in this is amazing and the feel this games! And the world that you guys built is awesome!! I don’t know if there is enough demand for it? But I would love a second Machinarium!!
- badbreathobby · v3.0.9
This game is peak I’ve played it on pc and now just bought it here the ratings should be 5/5 stars but they aren’t so I had to write this
- Inze0 · v3.0.9
Thought this game would be like creeks but it definitely has issues. Board game in the bar is way too difficult and the elevator is impossible. Maybe your AI is learning it’s more fun to win and is just making things impossible. Sorry, won’t be trying anymore of these games.
- 60th pick · v3.0.9
Beautiful game, music, but it lost its fun after so many hours already, I don’t think I’ll finish it.
- puravida.laux · v3.0.9
I found this game after playing Creaks, which I absolutely loved. This one is just as delightful, with another beautiful, immersive, hand-drawn world. The puzzles and characters and gentle gameplay are top notch, but it is the gorgeous illustrations that hooked me. Just like stepping in to a favorite picture book. I wish there were more games like this—straightforward, challenging, gentle, cute, with surprises and fun games-within-the-game. Every side character has enough personality that they could have their own spin off game (would love one with the hero and his little kid). Well done to this studio.
- quail · v3.0.9
I liked the animation, but the game was more annoying than fun. Levels are too complicated, and sometimes I can’t even see the items I’m supposed to find because they blend into the background. You literally have to click every corner.
- artyom1987 · v3.0.9
I loved every second of this game. The hints make it more than simple enough to work out areas where you get stuck which is amazing. The art style is incredible and the music fits the game perfectly. Absolutely worth your time to play!!!
- Freaknbats · v3.0.9
Please do the second part 🙏🙏🙏
- Wow!:))))) · v3.0.9
It’s unfortunate that the user rating doesn’t reflect what an enchanting work of art this game is. It’s understandable that some people would be frustrated playing this on a small screen, especially a phone. It was originally designed for desktops. I played it in 1998 on a Mac and I’ve always considered it to be one of the finest games I’ve ever played. My advice is to play this on the largest screen available to you. Not only will the controls be easier to use but the fantastic artwork deserves to be seen in detail. Whatever device you use it’s well worth playing under any circumstances.
- DemoRaze · v3.0.9
I LOVED this game, right up until you veered away from logic and experimentation to solve the puzzles and inexplicably threw in a timed dexterity one (space invaders), which a lot of people simply cannot do. I might eventually get it, but after a few DOZEN attempts I’m so frustrated and angry with a game I was absolutely loving up to that point that I’ll more than likely never finish it. What feels like a lazy, incongruous minigame decision killed the fun for me and ruined a beautiful game for anyone without tiny, fast fingers. Boo.
- heylookitsphil · v3.0.9
I’ve played almost all of amanita design games and found this one to be too frustrating. I’ve always been quick to figure things out with puzzle games, this one is hard to play. You have to be so precise in clicking and often times repeating movements because it’s wanting you to be in a specific spot with a specific item. It’s unenjoyable because of this. I’ve never been able to pass this game, it’s taken me hours. I wonder if playing on the switch would be easier instead of the phone. I don’t recommend this one. All the others have been awesome and so enjoyable to play. I’m even getting a custom made box to match the card game that’s in Samorost 3 that the mushroom harvester puts in front of you to get the pocket knife.
- Mermaid.Glitter.Bubble · v3.0.9
I loved this game though I agree it can’t be played without using the hint system. It’s a beautiful and immersive game and such a cute story line. The music was also beautiful. I got the little mini games down to about a minute to get each game play page I needed. The only place I got stuck is in the arcade room where you had to score 1000 on the space invaders type game. I never played those types of games, preferring puzzle type games. I had to have my husband play it to go further lol.
- CindiL · v3.0.9
The graphic are really nice but this game really goes no where
- Claudette Caron · v3.0.9
I am writing this review to say that this game and its soundtrack is so good, sometimes I will look at the app and i will burst into happy tears of joy, remembering my favorite childhood game. This game is so great, i one thousand percent recommend, and while the puzzles are hard, keep pushing because it is rewarding. I think that Amanita Design should make a Machinarium two, because they already have part of the storyline for when at the end the police helicopter crashes and Josef and Berta get carried in different directions
- Vishap82 · v3.0.9
Bad control. Gets stuck. Can’t play it.
- ~FRANZ~ · v3.0.9
This game is an artistic masterpiece. Need I say why? The art direction, the gameplay, the puzzles, the characters, and the soundtrack. This game belongs in a museum.
- EnderBoy11 · v3.0.9
The graphics and theme of the game are awesome. The issue is that you cannot play the game without the ‘hint’ system which to me defeats the entire point of playing this type of adventure game. Think back to the original text based hitchhikers guide to the galaxy , you had to look around, write down clues, be observant, and actually figure it out. This game is just about the mini hint system and following the instructions. One could never complete this game without the hint system.
- Truman555 · v3.0.9
Brilliant game with beautiful music. The puzzles were fun with a visually appealing presentation. Not too hard nor easy. A unique world where I can imagine living.
- Nitpicknick · v3.0.9
I love the style and the gameplay. The puzzles were easy enough and fun to figure out. My complaint is the mini games. I never got into traditional video games, and purposely look for games like this one. So to find that I had to play a silly video game just to make progress was frustrating. Having one to see the hints would be ok, but even after playing the game to get to the hint, it only told me what I already knew. There seems to be quite a bit of extraneous info as well. Lines of clues that lead no where. I know this sounds so negative, but it was great fun and I would recommend.
- Ravanabanana · v3.0.9
puzzles are a little bit open ended and can be frustrating, but i honestly play this game solely for the art style. it’s so cute, the sounds are adorable, and the characters are unique. such a beautiful game.
- emily_jska · v3.0.9
When I was around 6-7 years old my mom downloaded this game for me on her computer. I remember getting through all the levels with her (googling some we couldn’t figure out on our own) and have a great time. Ten years later and I still find myself redownloading it on my computer or phone, and still finding little secrets and Easter eggs around the game. Amazing art style, equally, if not better soundtrack, and overall great gameplay and story can be found within this game.
- Lainee L. · v3.0.9
I love the game the the hints are to short and not clear. The game has nice details but hard to use objects like levers. Please make a part 2 with no adds
- Baddie333! · v3.0.9
I have had this game for years but it wasn’t till my 11 year old said lets do it together that we started it. I wish they would make more games like this!!!
- F2959 · v3.0.9
So much to like about this world. Vibrant and engaging graphics. Cute story. Colorful. I liked, somewhat, that stages needed revisiting. Helped connect things. But overall, I found this game frustrating. Some of the puzzles just didn’t make sense and so much repetition needed just through certain stages. Once the robot was set to talk in a certain direction, you often cannot stop him and so you have to let the motion completely play out before you can try again. The walkthroughs were great but why have to play a game each time? And some of them were just not intuitive, so seeing the answer was frustrating. That said, much about the world and the games is fun. I just never got that feeling of satisfaction you get from fully figuring something out yourself. If the robot worked differently, and if there wasn’t the need for so much repetition, it would have been better. A bit pricey perhaps, but all in all, I’m glad I saw what it was about.
- Ammadams · v3.0.9
The game doesn't look good on an iPhone pro Max, could you make it look like Samorost 3? (Full screen with good resolution)
- Light-Dew · v3.0.9
i'd invite 1983 over and still be bored senseless. with no story to invest in, not worth finishing.
- bobbi632 · v3.0.9
It would be better if it supported the backbone one controller pls add the backbone one controller. But the game is super good the graphics are amazing our commend this game and worth the money
- RuvimT273 · v3.0.9
A challenging yet fun experience for all ages. Love the art style and the music!
- Ory and Mikey · v3.0.9
While the music and graphics were entertaining, the storyline complimented the play. However, playing on a Iphone had many drawbacks. Mainly my finger was larger than areas with up to three choices. The graphics just don't fit this platform. I later downloaded to the iPad making things easier. Manu objects were so obscure to the use it was tedious. I found myself only staying motivated by watching the action playthrough on utube. Without it, I would have abandoned the game. Puzzles were thoughtful amd challenging. Also, they were way random. Who expects to receive tokens after playing video games??!!
- rubapubpub · v3.0.9
The only issue i have with this game is the the fact that there is only 1 of them. after i completed the story i waited for a second one because it was jsut an amazing play through the entire time. for the unique design to the beautiful music in every scene, this game was the best game i’ve ever bought, but the only issue is that it was over to soon. the story was amazing, each puzzle was fun to play and different then the last, the music was pure harmony. i just wish there was another one.
- 😱😱😱😱👍🏻 · v2.4.3
Can’t beat the 5 piece tic tac toe game no matter how many times I try. It just got so frustrating I deleted the game. What’s the point?
- Jer Ser · v2.4.3
Their are several places where the controls of the game are very specific in a not intuitive way- you must stand in position A, not position B to get an item to work when neither position is obviously more applicable. I’m currently stuck trying to get the elevator to go up BC the lever action area is under the full screen toggle bar on modern iPhones. This is just lazy programming. Okay but frustrating puzzle game overall.
- Paragod1345 · v2.4.3
It was part of my childhood
- MamaBear2-4 · v2.4.3
I loved Botanicula but I hate this one. Often the controls just plain don’t work and I have to try the same thing over and over again wondering if I’ve missed something. There is also a lot of just watching, either while the robot moves from place to place or the stories that play out in the speech bubbles. Not sure I’ll keep playing this one. ETA: Appreciate a response from the developer. However the problem is mainly with controls, not the puzzles. For example, a red box switch that would not respond. Eventually it worked, but after dozens of tries. I do understand that you have to be within reach.
