Many things like that which just ensures that if you pick this game up, do not be foolish enough to spend money on it. That way you can drop this game without feeling ripped off. Nexon just won't learn scandal after scandal.

Cool to see it but

Holy, this game takes up over 11GB of space. For Maplestory? I have other fantastic games that do not require such a massive chunk of storage. Very disappointing, I was excited to finally be able to play on the go. This game must be so full of bloat to be that ridiculously massive. Genuinely absurd. It also kept putting on auto-play which is a horrible feature that shouldn't exist in any mmorpg. It shouldn't play for you if you're not going to bother playing it yourself. Why would I want to watch the game play itself? And it's so full of cash grabs I literally just started, I'm not buying cosmetics. This is not at all the Maplestory I remember when I was younger. Completely weird and off-putting in every way.

Everything is rng but the rates are rigged. Everything costs way too much mesos to upgrade compared to income. Social content is dead unless you join a good guild, but you need to go through countless rng hoops to be geared enough to be accepted into one. Coming from a paying necro player.

Love the game so far,progression is simple and not stuck behind some kind of pay wall nor is the full game, i wouldn't call this game "pay to win" either its very free to play friendly but paying for progression is an option via the store, there also isn't a content drought and auto battle isn't forced on you compared to other MMO'S on mobile. As long as the developers keep adding more content this game stands strong among mobile MMO'S right now and the detail and range of cosmetics is great.

Couldn't even finish the download, 98% into it and it starts telling me it can't connect to the server with perfectly fine connections. Used both WiFi and my data to get to start again and just ended up wasting my time, especially when it's 15G not exactly a short wait in Australia.

Almost every other time get detector test If players are botting they wouldnt even complain to customer service honestly if you cant differentiate botters and real players then your anti-botting system has already failed. I got data drained at least a few times. Talk about the Black Mage with a pebble like King David from the bible. The pebble destroyed the cliff in Vanishing Journey. Now I'm on MapleStory M. I was level 240s, data drained. I was level 230s, data drained. Now I'm at 213. At least my story in the game, thanks Nexon! Maybe I'll never hit 260.

To starforce it’s a 1% chance. Jewels is 2%. Accessories 10%. I also asked ai how long it would take to fully exalt your equipment and it said 40-60 years. Also one exalt stone is like $100 for a %25 chance of it working LOL

Got back into the game after a long time absent. I have very little time in this game in total. Made a few different characters to try out, then closed the game. I didnt play for a couple weeks or so. When I opened the game again, I received a message that my account is banned. Emailing support had them tell me that they wont reverse it and cant tell me why it happened. Really ridiculous behavior from a large company, but at least I've had a fun story for all of my friends lately!

This game contains severe official in-game cult, bully, gamble and all kinds of scam problems that the customers (players) don’t know or are not notified at the first place. After a period of time of playing, I found out that the in-game scammers and cult members who cause all these problems are 100% hired by the game company Nexon because all they care about is how much money we the real players spend in this game, if not enough, they’ll start to brutally online bully us until the players spend to the enough amount of money to satisfy them so they’ll stop. The authentication methods Nexon uses is intentionally hostile to users and goes against all modern practices. You will at one point or another run into issues with how your account is setup, and be unable to login due to your email not syncing with Nexon. When you reach out for support you will get very hastily written responses ignoring your question and informing you of nothing but that they cannot help. This was showcased recently in another App, Maplestory Idle. They banned all users who got a refund for micro transactions users bought that hadn’t actually worked. This was the strangest response - Nexon messed up but decided users wanting a remedy - a refund - deserve to never play the game again. This is the sheer stupidity of Nexon. Don’t waste your time and risk losing the hours you sink into this.

USD To Progress Properly

Maplestory was a great game, but coming from PC to Mobile is a gross change. Initially I was fine with the grinding, but after losing a billion GP over 2 belts while free to play is disgusting. It took over a month straight to get my equipment to where it was, and now it feels like there is a serious pay to win barrier. Why is it that everything costs an arm and a leg after lvl 200? Why is there bundles in the shop for OVER $100USD? Why do I need 4 scrolls just to upgrade my stuff and still have it get destroyed? Why is there still bosses that unlocked at lvl 100 that I still stand no chance fighting after getting over level 200? Why is there 50 different types of in game currency that bars you from progressing if you don’t have it? Impossible crafting materials? Maplestory has your back to make it worse. It’s because i’m a free to play account, and this game is biased against that. Just logging in everyday I have to close out of at least 3 promotional popups for things I don’t even have unlocked or can use. Make this game ACTUALLY free to play friendly, and i’ll come back, but even on PC they aren’t digging in anyone’s pockets like this. Maybe I was wrong to think the mobile would be close to the PC version, but I guess you won’t really figure that out until you hit the block yourself as well.

You’ll watch everyone else progress while you remain stagnant, which turns into frustration so bad, that you end up spending a little that turns into a lot. Just a great game in general!

I love this game,there are many perks such as being able to level up to 300 so you can still have something to do and not have to be bored of the game.Since I have been playing h to is game so much I recommended it to my brother so now he plays it and he recommended it to my mom and dad so now we all play this game as a family plus right now if you get the app and play there’s a hyper burning event!!Which means usually you would level 3 times if you levels once but right now you can level 5 times if you level once! The only downside is that I think it takes a really long time to level but that’s it I would definitely recommend this game.
