Ehhhh. I wanted to like it, but can't. On one hand, it's an extension of Magazine Mogul in terms of mechanics. I love that game. On the other hand... I can't even get to the second label without grinding. This might be Kairosoft's 3rd try of managing a creative agency back in 2017, but considering their other titles offer better in 2026, this one ranks lower.

I'm happy to find another music game where I can create and develop them. Hopefully it won't disappoint me... edit: i play it. it wasn't bad. but it's a little hard. why can't we manage a group, a single artists, etc? please use my suggestions edit 2: Why do artists retired easily by themselves? what's the point of raising them if they can just quit like that? can we please keep our artists? it's a letdown disappointment.

It wouldn't let me past the first part of the tutorial even though i did every possiable thing. I wouldn't mind too much if the game was free but i paid £6 for it so its very dissapointing. I expected a lot from it.

It's fun (try w/ play pass). Old idols can be reused as they're company's assets. Your investment didn't go to waste. My only complaints are difficulty in mastering specialty & discovering new themes.

This game is a total dud. I usually expect a level of simplicity for kairosoft games but this was too simple. There wasn’t a clear goal as to what was important: record sales, $$ collected, popularity. It wasn’t clear what the different labels needed you to change when they rejected your character. But it wasn’t all clear what changed with the different labels anyway. Overall… super boring. Extremely linear with no way to actually affect the simulation. It’s a lot like the video game company simulator but missing all the elements that made it interesting. IMO, the best kairosoft games are the ones that give the user ability to creatively change the simulation like in golf with the courses or the convenience store with combos. Even better if they have a clear but complex system like mall stories.

It was okay, but after a few hours of playing it just feels like the game isn't finished. It gets repetitive, and when you reach max level on any performer they can basically carry your whole game. Would give a higher score if there was more challenges or anything that kept challenging you as you advance.

Fun until it's tedious. Unlocking specialities is a bit annoying. Inheritance doesn't get the max status. So have to accumulate concept point from zero after recruiting new artist. Every change of speciality lose 30% points. I'm too impatient for the process.

Smooth experience as always but I just wished there were more things to do. It became boring to do things again and again. It would also be good to have more artists like groups and bigger studios. Aside from managing the artists, I had this strong urge to modify the office itself. I felt stagnant as years passed by. Overall, still enjoyed.

This one is probably the least enjoyable kairosoft game. There are so much directions you could go for but did not. Like how we only manage one talent, can't make like a group idol, can't do many scouting to recruit more talents to train. I wish there were more things to do.

This is the most buggy Kairosoft game I have played, but it doesn't make the game bad. I have still had fun, though concept points are definitely bugged, training is impossible past a certain point, and it can be quite repetitive. This could use a good bug fixing update for sure, it wasn't ready to be released. I'm going to keep playing this sparingly, but I'm 8 years in and am struggling immensely with the bugs, most especially the training.

Hi I am not sure if its my systems having issues or if its the game itself. Since both are doing the same thing im guessing its the game. When it first loads the maingame window on top is a bit smaller then usual and the blue section on bottom seems doubled so its covering up the game windows like the menu button the default tutorial tries to have you do.I like Kairosoft games but sadly because of that issue cant enjoy this one currently.

This game is such a major disappointment. It's not fun. You invest in an idol and start training them up to be more successful, only to have them run away and retire on their own without your approval. It's a waste of time and unfortunately also money. This is the worst Kairosoft game play I have experienced yet. Please make this game more fun.

One of the hardest/least rewarding Kairosoft games. Instead of managing an economy/community, team, or a production-based business, you are managing individual artists. It's like an rpg without any battles. So all the effort, upgrades, enhancements that you'd spread out over a farm, town, park, campground, business, is now poured into each artist and band. Like running several small businesses at once: progress is SLOW. I usually give up after 4-5 in-game "years". Too much work.

Well...

I’m usually a big fan of kairosoft games and I always held the details they put in their other games in high regard. However, as soon as I saw the “artist” sprite just teleporting around the screen and standing still without any type of animation, it sort of.. had me in a bit of shock. I’m used to kairosoft animating things such as walking, speaking with each other, interacting with objects. It helps me become immersed into the game and it ends up making me want to keep playing even if it were repetitive. I leave three stars because the concept and art is great as always but it’s one of my lower rated kairosoft games and I’d recommend newer players and even veterans to try other ones first such as Pocket Academy.

I love Kairo's games, but I usually don't buy the ones that don't have a demo version for me to test out beforehand. I originally wasn't gonna get this one because of that and because it got some bad reviews when it first came out, but curiosity ate at me and I finally bought it. It lacks a bit of direction in the beginning, but I have no complaints outside of that. It's a good game so far.

Have most of Kairosoft games. Huge disappointment with this. No tutorial. You pretty much just sit and watch the screen 3-4 minutes with no interaction. The characters don't even walk. They teleport around the screen. Poor effort. Waste of 5 bucks.

Best in awhile

There is a lot to do in this game if you really look at the details. I've played every kairosoft game and lately I've been getting less impressed. This is a people and skill building game, not a building one. If you like plopping down buildings this won't be the one for you. If you enjoy building up characters and transferring abilities to the next generation you will enjoy it.

Entertaining

Fun time killer that I've to come love from Kairosoft. This isn't their greatest game, but by no means is this a bad game. I'd give it 4 stars normally but because of the theme of an agency and training idol's aspect I give this 5 stars. Don't know why but this has come to remind me of Kpop (Yes I'm a fan) of how you build up your singers in terms of skills and popularity. PS. I've named my Company "JYP" lol

It's Kairosoft but barely

Follows the Game Dev formula but really devoid of progression content. Its very static in terms of upgrades and the artists aren't different enough to justify the different titles. I imagine there was a good game here but for whatever reason it was gutted leaving a shallow, repetative and wholly unrewarding experience. You are better than this Kairosoft.

After this long we get this...

The formula is not up to par with other Kairosoft titles. I have them all and it seems like the ones that don't support landscape mode are junk, this one is no exception. You barely do anything and basically just wait around tap one or two things then wait again... What happened to the gems like Game Dev, Hot Springs, Grand Prix, Sushi Spinnery and so many with great gameplay formulas??? In 2017 if your iPad apps don't support Landscape mode don't bother releasing them, it is so annoying holding the iPad vertical since 99% of cases lay down in landscape. This one seems lazily made. Shame on you Kairosoft and after all this time between English titles too.
