Excessive pop ups

Overall decent game but the forced pop ups for events and micro transactions need to be significantly dialed down. It ruins the game. It’s excessive and honestly takes up more time and energy closing out of them vs playing the actual game. I spend more time closing the constant pop ups.

Looking for a new game

I loved playing this game but the makers purposely make it difficult to get energy without paying for it. Normally you can watch 5 ads a day and you get 25 energy per ad. Today it was only 3 ads. You can use diamonds to buy energy but diamond are hard to come by unless you pay for them. The ads for in game purchases are overwhelming every time you open the app. There was a brief time in June or July where they made it easier to get energy to play and I was on the app constantly! But then they put the restrictions back on and it’s so frustrating to want to play but can’t unless I pay. Today, they reduced the amount of ads you can watch from 5 to 3 and I give up. I’m looking for a new game to play. I’ve never seen a game that was so determined to make it hard for people to play.

Giving it a chance

I’m really hoping since the reviews are so good that the game gets better. The cooldown runs out so fast on the mergers and I have so little space that I’m constantly having to sell items to make room when I don’t necessarily want to. It’s taking days just to complete one or 2 orders. Am I missing something? This is by far the most frustrating merge game I’ve ever played. The potential is there but it shouldn’t be this difficult so early on.

Merge cooking

This game is fun in the beginning but once you start playing it alot it starts forcing you to get into these mini games and thats not always a bad thing because it cannot hurt you, but sometimes you dont always wanna be in a challenge. It also takes very long for the energy to restore and also you constantly lose your best items and have to keeps remaking them. Other than these annoying issues the game is addictive.

Stole my gems!

They are liars and stole my gems out. I purchased a package for 14.99 for 700, they are making up random numbers that don’t even make sense and showing zero proof. Thieves! From hero to zero FAIL

Was my favorite of the many merge games until; - only rewards are the stupid purple speed ups. No energy. They never reward you with energy. And have 4 layers of ours to merge to make a difficult item with difficult items with no energy boosts or rewards to catch. 15 energy is basically nothing for the items required. Became frustrated work. Other merge games keep it fun and challenging to keep playing. Disappointed - SpongeBob theme (off putting, not good themed or cute, in fact gross items undelightful..)

A problem with reward on Merge Cooking

I lost 100 energy points today. When I restarted the game again, it gave me. Message saying sorry your d did not give you your rewards and they sprayed out 14 measly little purple squares Please, please stop the double ads. It’s got a serious bug in it and it’s screwing up the game!! I wrote a review earlier today but now it just happening with every ad. I am not getting any rewards now. Would it be possible to stop showing 2 ads together? Every time you show the Sketchers and the mattress ads together, I don’t get the prompt to click on to continue the game. When that happens, I don’t get my reward. Restarting the game is not satisfactory either. Thanks

The energy being on timers is terrible game design. It’s also super annoying that there isn’t any space to put anything. Combine that with the timers, and it becomes infuriating. I don’t understand why developers make stuff that isn’t fun. Why would anyone in their right mind spend money on ragebaiting apps? This game absolutely is the worst. Making items appear in bubbles that can only be popped if you spend “purple diamonds” is just another lame layer of annoyances because you give no way to earn diamonds except for one-time bonus rewards for achievements. I’d rather just play anything else that is less boring and annoying. Somebody make a GOOD merge game where none of my complaints exist. No timers, no lack of space, and no having to use “diamonds” for anything at any time. Just a game based on wanting to merge indefinitely. Maybe layer in some other mini-games to help create an addictive loop that keeps you playing. I’m tired on games with no content and stories that are super ridiculous

The game is fun.. however

The game itself is actually fun, and the merge mechanics are enjoyable, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1. Unfortunately, it's buried under so many monetization mechanics that it stops being fun after a while. The biggest issue is the energy system. You're capped at 100 energy, it takes 120 seconds to regenerate a single point, and it takes nearly 3 hours to refill from empty. Of course, you can buy more with real money. Which also allows you to bypass the 100 cap limit. Then there are the generators. They aren't unlimited and constantly go on cooldown. The higher-level generators seem to produce fewer items before needing to recharge, and the only way to skip the wait is by spending gems—a premium currency that's also sold for real money. The BBQ Book generator feels especially frustrating because its main purpose seems to be draining your energy as fast as possible, encouraging you to buy more. On top of that, the game throws what feels like a million side events and mini-games at you. Instead of adding to the experience, they become overwhelming and distracting. I started playing through KashKick, and because of all these energy limits, cooldowns, and bottlenecks, reaching the required milestones within the allotted time was essentially impossible without spending money. The core game is good, but it's held back by aggressive monetization and unnecessary mechanics that constantly interrupt the gameplay.

My guilty pleasure!

This is my absolute favorite game. It’s how I relax and occupy myself during rare free time. However, the farther you advance, the less rewards and the more expensive things become. Despite my love for this game, I’m going to have to find something new. It costs too much to make things and now you only get 15 energy for completing a renovation. I’m disappointed in how it becomes a money grab as you advance, but it’s still one of my favorites.

Don’t recommend

I’ve been playing for about 2 weeks now & have noticed this game is very greedy. It does not show how much time a producer needs instead you have the option to spend diamonds in order to produce again. At which point it gives you less & less each time you use your diamonds. Making it impossible to complete the orders unless you spend money on it, smh such a shame.

Great game!

I have become obsessed with merging and getting a little further everyday. And the goals in this game are obtainable. It’s not like some that give you 5 energy and then it takes days to build back up. It’s a fair amount of energy, a good amount of time to build back up, and NO ADS! It’s fun and relaxing. I love this game.

Has potential but forces you to spend money

Game started out so fun, but energy quickly depletes and no way of playing game unless you wait for energy to refill. Even then, you usually don’t have enough energy to complete enough to progress in the game. I spent $5 and got over 200 gems that I quickly used up in 15 min thanks to the “cooking” aspect and the fact that you only get 10 items to merge out of each generator. Any merge game that makes you “cook” like this game, be warned… they only added that bc it takes up to one hour to cook the item that they are hoping you give up and purchase diamonds which allow you to bypass the cooking timer. There are tickets you can use to speed it up but they are inconsistent and they never supply enough. Deleting this game from my phone and any like it that make you cook or that the generators work for 10 items. Good quality games give you much more items then 10 and will only cost you 1-2 gems to power back up or you can wait like 1 min. The only thing the developers of this game had in mind was being greedy. Can’t do anything in 2026 😐

Fun at first… then not so much

This game is a fun way to pass the time, the merging is chill, the little events are fun. But the level scaling is really rough. The generators to make the items that you merge don’t give you higher level items quick enough to make actual progress on the goals at higher levels. This makes is super hard to actually do well in the mini games, and sometimes it can take days to complete one goal between running out of energy and exhausting generators. It becomes frustrating instead of fun. I hope they do something to make it fun across all levels.

I downloaded this game from their advertisement while playing another game, and this is not the preview I played even remotely. I was advertised a cake merging puzzle and got a way different type of merging game and was greeted with stupid AI voice acting. I’m sure it’s a fun game, but it is NOT what I was advertised. Merge Theme Restaurant has really charming graphics and fun restaurant themes, and the merging itself is satisfying. The game gives you a steady sense of progress, and the decorations make each area feel cute and unique. Sometimes the energy system slows things down, and a few appliances — especially the sushi maker and the blender — really need more recipes to keep things interesting. GREAT game, just as advertised, little to no greedy micropayments, addicting AF … but THE SIDE MINI GAMES THO!!! Like the races? WORST IDEA and at first it was just annoying … but when I stop playing the whole game for days because of UNWINNABLE side games that you are forced to fail, unless you’re playing all day and all night. This game literally changed my life!! As a 12 year old who doesn’t have a SIM card on her phone this game is soo fun and entertaining to play anywhere without WiFi or with. Another thing I liked is that if you run out of energy, you can watch ads to get more energy. Something that I dislike about the game is that when you run out of energy and you are offline, there is nothing you could do about it, which makes the game useless since you have to wait around 2 hours to refill on energy. Other then that this game is so amazingly!!

i love this game. i’ve played it every day for the past 6 months. however, i’ve noticed that other people i know who play it have features that i don’t which would improve my gameplay, and it’s very discouraging. they’ll have events, different ad options, and receive more helpful items from packs than i do. because of this, they progress a lot faster than me. it’s really frustrating, as fun as this game is.

I went through a phase of trying different merge games. Of the 5 I tried, Merge Cooking is the only one that stuck. Rather than just merging, I like the idea of making different foods and using them to follow recipes to make meals. There’s an added challenge. This game also has some type of event going almost every day, which makes is super addictive. I gave up this game once because I was too obsessed, but I came back a few months later. Super fun!

Wish there was an undo buttons for diamonds.

I do enjoy playing this game. Some levels are hard but what really angers me is when I have enough diamonds and I accidentally press an ingredient and it buys it. I don’t want to buy that ingredient at all. I want to buy energy . The button to buy it with diamond is too sensitive and close to the pop it button. And I’ve pressed buy an ingredient numerous times and never actually wanted it. Ingredients overpriced junk and a waste of my diamonds. -_- Give me an undo button on the object I bought with diamonds so they can have that thing back please and I can get my diamonds back.

Do not make purchases.

Do not buy anything on this game. I bought some passes and got barely any energy from it. And now I no longer get the option to watch ads. I have to wait hours or pay more real money or my gems just to get energy. I even tried reaching out to customer service and it didn’t even provide help.

i like that we get the opportunity for ads in this game ! sometimes it allows me to keep playing for an hour, which is really fun. but access to the ads is annoying. you don’t get them for a while and when you finally do, you can loose them. i had ads for months and then i bought the energy quest. i had bought it before with no issues, but this time when i bought it, i lost all my ads. i only get 100+ energy watching ads once a day. it’s disappointing because i literally put money INTO the app and i was punished, so it makes me want to never give money to the game again. there has to be a way to improve upon this.

If you Spend you Lose

I want to love this game, but it really takes advantage of people. If you spend any money at all you will lose all of your ads for free energy, which is so backwards. Also the more you buy the more expensive stuff is, it literally goes up or down in price based on how much you are spending. This game is fun if you spend money, otherwise everything generates too slow and the higher the levels the longer it takes. It’s 3 hours to get 100 energy…. I’ve had ONE item take like 500-600 at least, so if I don’t spend money (because I spent money and lost ads) That’s 18 hours to get ONE single item. Also it will take more energy to get items because they’ll also make the item you need less frequent. I’m done with this game, there’s other similar ones that don’t have the predatory business model. I’d encourage others to do the same. Also customer service is frustrating and not helpful when the game glitched at the final merge for a special event and if you have played it in any capacity you understand how hard that is to get.

Fun Game, Not Enough Reward

I absolutely love playing this game. The challenges are great and the items keep growing into something new. I do think that it is worthless if you don’t buy the powerups and boosts. The wait time for energy and regenerated machines is very, very long. So if you have a complicated order it will likely take more than the energy you have and then you have to keep waiting for it to generate which can take days to complete. I understand it, but I think it’s just a gimmick to get ppl to keep paying for powerups to win more stuff. I really enjoy the game but I give it 3 stars for that reason… I can only play for 5 minutes unless I keep buying more diamonds.

The cards need to be auto….

I don’t have an issue with the game, it’s fun, but once you’re really in it—the biggest issue is collecting the card packs and having to open them to collect them, and keep them—it’s a lot! Can you just make it automatic? Let the cards go into the galleries without making us slow down to open them, collect them and continue? I had 44 cards and the process nearly made me want o quit the damn game. Make it easy and not so cumbersome!

Fun until higher levels

I really like this game, it’s cute and easy. What I don’t like is how long it takes to complete ‘orders’ once you reach higher levels. There are some levels that take days to complete because of what is needed to create an order. There are also times when you can use your energy up repeatedly trying to get a single small item, like a cup of water. Energy replaces at an okay rate, but if you want to do anything quickly, you have to pay for it. I really wish they could separate out what the generators make, especially the beverage one. Again, this is fun on to play, but you will need to be patient or willing to fork over lots of money for quick play.

Love this game!

Hello, I been playing this game for around a year and a half now and am currently on level 114! Unfortunately I have gotten a new phone and can no longer login to my account. Unfortunately I don’t want to create a new account since I have put a lot of effort into the one have on my old way. So pls if anyone knows how to recover an account from one phone to another pls let me know! Pls still love the game:)

Первоначально мне все нравилось : отсутствие рекламы, быстрая энергозаполняемость, не надоедливые задания. Потом я стала донатить и все изменилось : без покупок предмет , например, может сложиться только через сутки 🤦🏻, конечно же ни о каких победах и доп наградах уже и речи быть не может - только через бабки . Поэтому мой отзыв: не донатьте , даже если очень хочется и игра будет приносить вам удовольствие ! С Донатом это закончится!

Fun but not sustainable

Great game, however the amount of energy you need to spend to get one ingredient doesn’t make any sense as the levels go hire. For example, it might cost you 500 of energy to complete one item but the max energy you can receive freely is only 100. I’m okay with purchasing , but the price is very high based on the amount you need to purchase. Very sadly to give a 2 star

Needs more rewards

I downloaded this game for Fetch and enjoyed it so I continued playing. It’s similar to Gossip Harbor however this game doesn’t really give very good “rewards” the way Gossip Harbor or even Homescapes does. Instead of giving so many Cooking Boosts it would be nice to receive more energy. I’m not sure how much longer I will continue to play as the further you get the harder it is to get the ingredients to cook and I lose interest when it takes me 2 days to finish a few orders. Other than that I do enjoy it at the moment. I guess we’ll see if I keep playing it for years like I have the other games mentioned in my review.

missing 5star card pack

I was supposed to receive a 5-star card pack as a reward for earning gold through a daily mission, but when the season for collecting card packs changed, I didn’t receive the pack at all. Even after the new season started, the 5-star card pack I was supposed to get still hasn’t been delivered.

Expensive. Makes it hard to play without purchases

This game was fun at first but it becomes so that you can’t really play without buying add ons. Then every new level seems to ask you to make something that requires a lot of energy. It makes it that you don’t enjoy the game anymore. I hate making the stupid French bread and it’s in every order and I’m just over it. Bye.
