Still Amazing

Can’t believe this app is still going strong. I keep coming back to it because it’s far superior to many other games out there. Would be great if it could be upgraded to full screen, but I’ll keep playing it regardless!

Charming to play in 2025

I remember playing this game so many years ago as a kid. Even as an adult now, it’s still actually kinda scary. The fact that you can’t move and have so many zombies closing in on you is a pretty anxiety inducing set up. The graphics being so low res makes it feel unsettling too, there’s something weirdly creepy about seeing distorted faces approaching you. Every game in 2025 feels like it’s meant to be overly flashy and attention grabbing so that you spend money on it; this game is a refreshing look into the past when games focused more on actually being scary, and they weren’t trying to milk you out of every dollar you can give. It’s worth spending the 99 cents to play this just for the vibes

Love this throw back game 🤩

I remember playing this when I was a kid, now I’m beating it and it’s really cool to know the rest of the story I never got to see! I think may be almost through the story, I wish I could play the second one two.

2024 and i still play this!!!!

One of my favorite iOS games ever!!! With a really good storyline too. Still… after about 15 years this game holds up extremely well. No ads no micro transactions… just gaming.

Played this a while back. And i mean when it dropped… my brothers and i shared an Ipod at the time. We found it cus we weren’t allowed to play COD. So we played secretly on the ipod. Man… to be back in those times..

Love it

I always come back to this game every couple years and I remember playing this when it was first released back when I was in high school, great story and the gameplay is so nostalgic, I love that you guys keep it updated so it works on newer versions, this is one of the only games that I played back in the day that kept software up to date and I can still play, thanks!

Update NYZ 2

Please, make it playable. This shouldn’t be the only one able to be played, the other one isn’t able to be found (without pulling off App Store glitches, and even then it won’t download). Great amazing game, will rate 5 stars easily if updated

I would have rated 5 stars. I love this game, I’ve been playing for YEARS. But NYZ 2 is better. For some reason there is no update to play NYZ 2 on current gen phones. PLEASE UPDATE NYZ 2.

Complaints about this game

I noticed many people are not happy how you can’t move and the graphics. To be honest, I thought that’s what made the game unique. Being stuck in one spot while zombies approach you, plus with the soundtrack, makes it more tense and creepy. It also gives a bit of a challenge. Now the graphics could’ve done better, but it was 2010 when it released and graphics weren’t super amazing and the standards were not as high as they are today, but for me at least, it gives a nostalgic feeling. This was just my opinion on the complaints people had and overall I thought this game was amazing, fun, and like no usual zombie shooter.

I love this game

This game is amazing this is how the game is you go on a level you pick your weapons and head out when your killing zombies you haft to touch the screen. you get to fight all types of zombies. I rate this game 5 out of 5 trust me that’s how good this game is. One problem can the creators of this game can you make it where you can walk around and also can you add more blood when you bust a zombies head off. Other than that this game is very good. Buy this game now.

A hidden gem

A played this way when it first released and I couldn’t begin to describe the sense of dread and horror I felt on my first playthrough. The soundtrack and sound design pull you in for a charming and spooky experience. In a world full of easily monetizeable garbage, NYZ flicks the middle finger and tells the player that everything you own in the game is bough VIA the in-game currency. If you so choose to invest yourself into this game, the story opens up via dairy-like excerpts from the main character’s point of view as they make themselves through the city. Each weapon and item has its use. From using stronger caliber guns for bigger foes, to saving your Molotov cocktails for crowd control. I heavily recommend this game. It’s unlike any ive ever played. And I’ll keep coming back to it because there’s just nothing like it on the AppStore. Sure the graphics are muddy, but barring that, the muddiness and darkness of the color pallet only makes the game all the more terrifying to play through.

Crashes but enjoyable

I started playing again when it was updated to 64 bit. Game did not update to use the entire screen on iPhone X. I hope N.Y.Z. 2 will be update soon.

N.Y.Zombies Streaming IOS to YouTube

I love these games. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! I played this game 3 years ago all the time also the 2 but can you make it so on n.y.zombies 2 that it can fit the full screen of the IPhone 10 that I use... on both games.... But one thing... make it so you can live stream on this game to YouTube on the IOS and that would be 1080p 60fps live streaming? THANKS FOR READING!!!!

Best app ever made

The story is amazing, the gameplay is nerve racking, and the Arsenal of weaponry is awesome. Definitely the best app and best on-rail shooter I've ever played. Highly recommended. Have beat this game around 20 times because I can't get enough <3 N.Y.Z 2 is also amazing <3

Amazing Game!

I first played this game on Christmas of 2011. It's so great. Amazing storyline, and gameplay. It makes me wish it was for a game console. N.Y.Z. 2 is equally as awesome. N.Y.Z. 3 must be created.
