Old Man's Journey

sweet short indie game. can finished with hours. the story is simple but its quiet fitting with the atmosphere. I love the graphics, the animation. it would have been better with voiceovers. but really lovely anyways. quiet emotional because my father is also a seaman who spends most of my childhood, teens and college out in the sea.

Gorgeous game! Very artistically satisfying. Like a children's storybook come to life. Heartaching story brilliantly told in little snippets brings the character depth. Game play is easy to figure out at a just-right pace to stay soothing and yet change from level to level. All around a delightful experience. Sad to finish it already. I wish I had more.

Honestly meh... This should be a narrative game, but the story is kinda not very well written, just too simple and a bit shallow (and short). Also why the family sold the house and bothered just in the end to call the old man? Minimalism is hard I guess. The most interesting stuff is the core loop actually. Manipulating the scenery gives an unexpected sense of 3D to a side scrolling camera game, and thinking to the solution ahead felt somewhat captivating.
