I have always loved the papa's ria games as a kid! Happy to have watched this series grown over the years. when I saw the apps I had to immediately get it (or at least one ,don't need to eat all of my storage) ,the game works great so far. The only thing is that I miss customizing my character, that was one of my favorite things to do when I would play it on the computer.

I used to love this game when I played it years ago on a laptop, as soon as I saw it was available for mobile I was so happy! I've also installed many of the other Papa Louie games and while I have no complaints with them I was very disappointed to discover that unlike the others you cannot create a custom character, and the graphics are extremely outdated. I'm still going to persevere as I've paid but I don't think I would have bought it if I had been aware of these issues beforehand.

It's essentially a simpler version of the version you can find online, fine if you don't have a strong enough computer to run an emulator but lower quality than the game you can play for free online, especially since you can't customize your character in this edition. don't know if an HD version would be better or anything but I don't feel like it's worth $2

I downloaded this even after reading the reviews, cause I didn’t think the quality would be as bad as people were saying. However, I already have 2 other papa games, (pastaria and sushiria) and the difference in quality was very noticeable. I love this game though, it’s always been my favorite out of all of them.

Fun, but very outdated.

This papa’s game is very fun, and fun to play when it was on flash. The App Store port for it is worse quality than the flash version, and everything looks very cheap and choppy, although the game most likely won’t go through another update, probably think twice about spending two bucks on something that looks like an unofficial scratch Papa’s knockoff

Surprisingly good for its quality

I have a lot of the other games and I have some of the games that were most likely made earlier than the all the other ones and that really shows. (Cupcakeria to go is the worst game I’ve ever played) but this one is a good quality game even if the graphics weren’t the best, and they got rid of that stupid grill thing where you needed to get 50/50 on each side (on the computer version) so this is honestly one of my favorite papas games next to Paletaria and Donuteria to go

Could Be Better

If you’re thinking about purchasing this specific papa’s game, there are other papa’s games that are better for $1.99. First off, the gameplay is very laggy and blurry as well as the audio being choppy. Another issue is that you cannot customize you’re own character and to me that’s the whole fun part of playing these games. It makes the experience personal and customizable to how you like. You’re better off playing this game on your pc or laptop because those versions are better than the mobile one. It’s just disappointing because this was my favorite one during my childhood and the fact that it’s nothing like the computer version is sad. I hope this gets seen by the developers and they update the game to how the other recent papa’s games are.

Don’t get me wrong the app and game itself is fun BUT i really wish they had an option to create an account for those that get a new new phone can get their progress back. I was on Rank 50 and when i got a new phone i was rest back to Rank 1, it was devastating.

This is one of my favorite papas games, and when I got it on mobile (because of the deletion of flash), I was disappointed in the super fuzzy/ slightly laggy graphics and clunky mechanics. If this game could be updated for the mobile format, it would be extremely enjoyable and much better!

WORTH THE $

This app is truly an emulation of my childhood in that it very accurately represents the original computer game that I loved so much as a kid. It is definitely worth the $2 if you have played the game before and it’s still worth it if you just want to try it. Can’t Save

Hi, first off I love these games. But every time I leave the game, my progress doesn’t save and I’m back at training. It makes me really sad because I keep making it to Rank 4 or 5, then I lose everything if I have to go to another app. I also keep trying to buy more tips and then the game freezes, I don’t get the game money, and I have to start at training again. Wasted my Money

When I was little, I would customize my character my character and have such a fun time. Now that I have an iPhone 11, I used my money to buy the game to customize the character and play the game.
