This game is absolutely disgusting there is a chat option and people are impolite and mildly inappropriate and I just can’t believe that it says 4+ that is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. do not recommend do not give your kids this game.

Honestly i really love the game itself but all of the micro transactions and also this new energy feature is awful. I PAID for the ad free version of this game and its asking me to pay a subscription to be able to actually play the game?? Its actually ridiculous you have 25 energy and its very easy to use up. I just cant. I wish they would remove this because they have genuinely ruined the game.

Why do apps feel the need to make everything paid nowadays? What happened to good old fashioned fun? If you’re going to be lazy with your questions and continue to repeat them then why should I pay to continue playing the game.

If you’re expecting a trivia games with friends, be prepared to be disappointed. Ads around every turn (unless you shell out $100 a year) you literally can’t end a question without an ad. I have to force close the game in order to play it in pace with someone. Tons of new game modes! Neat! Until you are unable to turn off notifications for the ones you are not interested in. Causing the matches with your friends to be buried in slop notifications about whatever amusement park mode they want to sell coins for this week. You can’t prevent randoms from challenging you if you wanted. I wanted to play with FRIENDS. Now I get buzzes at 3am because some man across the globe wants to play. Can’t select my notifications to friends only either. So many quality of life changes EVERY online game has, this one doesn’t.

You have to tap out of at least 4 menus after every question. Last time I had the app it was fun and I could play all day but now I can barely stand to answer 2 questions which takes a full 5 minutes including tapping out of menus and waiting for adds to run

I used to play several years ago, and it was great. Unfortunately now, you get the option to get a new question by watching an ad. However even if you chose not to, you get an ad anyway. The mini games seem out of place, and one of them seems heavily inspired by Monopoly Go. The sections for specific trivia are a nice addition but the negatives outweigh the positives. Bummer.

The app has been frozen at the loading page for almost 24 hours. Every time I open it, hours after closing it, it still stays frozen at the loading page. Edit to respond to developer: I can’t report from the app because it’s stuck at the loading screen every time I open the app.

This past update, where they took away the ability to buy powerups with coins that you earned is crazy. I have not played since. I will not pay for bombs or right answers. The game is a lot of fun to play, but the amount of forced pop up screens, random battles, purchase requests, notifications, etc. is completely out of control. Needs to go back to being a simple trivia game.

I’ve played TC on and off for years now and the ads are so aggressive and long. I redownloaded the game today after a couple years away and I’ll be deleting once the games I’m playing are finished. I’m so over subscription culture and I get that it’s how apps make money now, but count me out. What used to be a really great game is just an ad farm. I even got a notification that they would suppress ads for an hour so I went to play and that was a lie. It’s a shame. I really miss the days when you could pay a one-time fee and actually have a fun game without a bunch of bloated mini-games.

I love this game and played it a lot growing up. There’s an ad every time I answer a question. I’m playing biology trivia thinking that I just took college biology so I’ll ace this, I answer about 3 questions then I get asked a question about a what is the state tree of Wyoming which isn’t really related to biology but it is trivia so I guess and answer correctly, This isn’t the problem though. AFTER EVERY QUESTION I ANSWERED THERE WAS A 1 MINUTE AD.

Frankly, I refuse to purchase much of anything from this game, much less an ad-free subscription service. This game is fun and intellectually stimulating, but the inability to click out of ads is a bit ridiculous. Not to mention the advertisements themselves are extremely suspect.

Totally ok with some level of adds in the free version but the length of them is often much longer than you played the game and often you end up in the App Store is if you showed interest in the app being advertised which seems iffy…. Sorry to all the folks I did not finish the games with because of this.

I mostly enjoy the game but find it very frustrating when you win right answersu and you come back to use them and they are gone. This has happened twice in the last month. I purchased the add free version but continually get pop ups asking me to buy extra answers and so forth for the game annoying. I am not sure how someone can have 60000 points. They must be buying extra advantage points. I guess my reviews mean nothing how can someone have 53000 points in two days ? Usually someone from out of the US I feel this is just a ploy to get us to buy your extra items to help win games.

This game could be really enjoyable if it wasn’t for the stupid amount of ads you’re subjected to. Literally after getting a question wrong you have to watch a long ad to continue playing with a person. It’s not like it gives you a lot of time between each ad it’s CONSTANT. Please fix ads this is a fun game :( It’s literally possible to keep a game free if you just even out the ads you guys are greedy and it’s killing the game.
