Placer Gold Panning

About

Work a gold pan at the river — a merge game built on density sorting instead of dropping pieces into a column. Every tap pulses a swirl through the whole pan. Heavier same-grade nuggets settle toward the center while lighter gravel and silt ride out to the rim — a density-sort centrifuge you drive by hand. When two equal nuggets meet at the core, they merge into the next grade up: silt, sand, gravel, black sand, all the way to the great Motherlode. The twist is where the merges happen. A merge near the center of the pan scores double, and the swirl is exactly what delivers your heaviest nuggets there. Read the concentric graded sediment rings, time your pulse, and chase the core. Fresh gravel scoops fall from the stream at the top with every swirl, so the pan is always filling. Let too much sediment crowd the rim lip and it overflows — the run ends. Keep merging to clear space and keep panning. • Tap to swirl — no column, no drop; you sort the whole pan by hand • Heavy grades sink to the core, light grades ride to the rim • Like grades that meet merge up — silt to the Motherlode • Core merges pay ×2; the sort delivers them if you let it • The Motherlode finisher sweeps the pan for a bonus and washes away • Best grains saved on device • Fully offline, no account, nothing collected Swirl the pan. Sink the gold.
