Learn to write. Win the race. Primary Pencil turns handwriting practice into a racing game. Your child writes a letter on the screen, and when they form it correctly, their car takes off down the track. The better they write, the better they race. I originally made the game for my own kids because they never wanted to practice handwriting. Once writing a letter made a race car go, they kept asking to do it again. That simple idea eventually became Primary Pencil: real handwriting practice built into a game children actually want to play. Primary Pencil is designed for children ages 4 to 7, from their first letters through short words. It does more than check whether a letter stays inside an outline. It looks at how the letter is formed and gives gentle guidance on its shape, size, stroke path, and placement on the baseline, helping children build good handwriting habits from the start. Children can write with an Apple Pencil or use a finger. As they improve, they move through three levels, collect more than 70 cars, earn coins, and open reward chests. Every car, coin, and reward is earned by writing. Nothing is paid for inside the app. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. One purchase gives your family the complete app. Made by a parent for children who are learning to write. Primary Pencil does not require an account, track children, or collect personal information.
