Please fix these issues

The issues make it near unplayable, I would like to play it but I don’t want to deal with its nonsense each time. I’m updated on iPhone 17, why do I need to redownload 3+ gbs every day for now reason!? Why does it then say that it needs 7+ gbs when it doesn’t need even half that much. And then why when I have 10 free gbs of space does it still say that it’s not have enough space to download!? I’ve downloaded it multiple times fully to know that it constantly deletes that extra download and even when it’s fully downloaded it’s less than 8gbs, yet somehow asks for more and needs over 10gbs of free space that it comes nowhere close to using. The biggest issue comes down to having to redownload it every day. The storage issues are dumb and annoying but wouldn’t be a big deal if I wasn’t forced to constantly redownload half the game. I should not have to redownload the game every day, and I should not be required to have 15gbs to play a game that when fully downloaded is half that size.

If it didn’t auto delete it’s own game data every time.. 10/10

The game runs beautifully when it’s installed, however every time I attempt to get on it’s inevitably deleted its own game data. My save is fine but the 3 gbs you have to download after initial install I have to redownload every time if I want to play, which takes like 10 minutes on WiFi, or 20-30 on mobile data. Which renders the whole “portability” of it being on mobile irrelevant. Glad I got it through Netflix. I’m on iOS 18.7.7 and I know this is a known issue, but I refuse to update my os any further on this device, and will run it as long as possible.

Good

My most profoundly esteemed, exceptionally distinguished, immeasurably admirable, and unequivocally extraordinary friend, I find myself standing once again at the threshold of a linguistic undertaking so immense in its proportions, so formidable in its intellectual demands, and so extraordinarily ambitious in the degree of admiration it seeks to communicate, that the ordinary mechanisms of compliment, praise, commendation, and eloquent appreciation appear almost immediately insufficient for the responsibility before me. I am not attempting merely to tell you that what you have created is impressive. Such a statement, while technically accurate, would be so profoundly inadequate that it would scarcely constitute an honest representation of my actual reaction. Nor am I attempting merely to describe your creation as excellent, remarkable, extraordinary, brilliant, magnificent, distinguished, sophisticated, refined, or exceptional, because even the combined force of those words seems incapable of approaching the extraordinary standard established by what you have accomplished. Rather, I am attempting something considerably more ambitious: to construct an almost monumental declaration of admiration, a sustained literary acknowledgment of such excessive refinement and such extraordinary magnitude that it might, at least in principle, begin to communicate the astonishing degree to which your accomplishment has exceeded every ordinary expectation that could reasonably have been placed upon it. There is, from the very beginning, an almost immediate difficulty in determining where one should even begin. To praise something genuinely exceptional requires a vocabulary sufficiently broad to distinguish among the countless different dimensions of its excellence. One must consider conception, execution, originality, structure, coherence, precision, craftsmanship, elegance, intentionality, consistency, imagination, discipline, patience, refinement, individuality, and the extraordinary ability to transform an initial idea into a completed reality. One must consider not merely what exists within the finished work, but also the invisible accumulation of decisions, revisions, judgments, corrections, discoveries, and acts of persistence that necessarily preceded its existence. One must consider the difference between something that merely functions and something that has been elevated beyond functionality into the considerably rarer territory of genuine distinction. One must consider not merely whether the result is successful, but whether it possesses an internal identity sufficiently strong that it can be recognized as the unmistakable product of deliberate thought and individual creativity. And when all of these considerations are placed upon the table simultaneously, your accomplishment becomes increasingly difficult to categorize. It does not merely satisfy expectations. It surpasses them. It does not merely fulfill its purpose. It elevates that purpose. It does not merely demonstrate competence. It demonstrates an extraordinary degree of intentionality. It does not merely exist. It possesses presence. There is a difference between creating something and truly realizing something. Creation can occur in an instant. Realization requires perseverance. An idea can appear spontaneously, fully formed in the imagination, but transforming that idea into something coherent, substantial, polished, and complete requires an entirely different category of commitment. It requires the willingness to remain engaged with an idea long after the initial excitement surrounding it has diminished. It requires patience when progress becomes slower than anticipated. It requires judgment when multiple possibilities compete for attention. It requires discernment when something that appears acceptable must nevertheless be improved. It requires persistence when the distance between the envisioned result and the current result becomes frustratingly apparent. Your accomplishment bears the unmistakable evidence of that process. It possesses the characteristics of something that has not merely been produced, but developed. There is thought within it. There is judgment within it. There is refinement within it. There is evidence of deliberate choice. And perhaps most importantly, there is evidence that the person responsible for it cared sufficiently about the final result to refuse to settle for the first version that happened to be acceptable. That distinction alone deserves profound recognition. Because mediocrity is often surprisingly easy to achieve. One can complete something without perfecting it. One can stop without finishing. One can accept “good enough” long before the potential of an idea has been exhausted. One can choose convenience over refinement and speed over precision. One can create something functional without ever asking whether it could become something memorable. But your work appears to have rejected that philosophy entirely. It carries the unmistakable impression of a creator who was not satisfied merely with existence, but sought quality. Not merely completion, but coherence. Not merely functionality, but distinction. Not merely presentation, but substance. And that distinction is precisely what elevates it. The remarkable nature of your accomplishment becomes even more apparent when one considers the relationship between its individual components. Excellence is rarely contained within a single isolated feature. More often, it emerges from the relationship between numerous smaller decisions.

It’s good

Love the idea that I can play red dead on my phone. I love how it sticks to the main game on PlayStation and other consoles. My only issue is the controls it seems that it’s very tricky to be able to ride my horse and not accidentally touch the weapon button. I also noticed it’s somewhat difficult to steer my horse or run for long periods of time without it getting tired too fast. Other than that I love it!

Not happy

Seen this on the netflix app i was shocked that it was on the mobile phone wasnt aware it was. Said cool so i installed it, had the files install, get to the first cutscene for it to make a noise that overplayed the cutscene so i swipped up and quit the app, reopen it and skipped the cutscene, played for about 40 mins and got off it. I then go to get back on it and tells me to reinstall the files. Mad but i do it anyways but i wait 10 mins just for it to not go past 0%, quit the app again and uninstall to reinstall it because why didnt it go past 0, i then wait for the files to install again just for it to get to about 99% and tells me that download failed. HORRENDOUS TOUCH CONTROLS

This is such a massive downgrade to the actual game. The touch controls are some of the worst I’ve ever seen in a mobile game. Riding horses, and specifically wagons, are SOOOOOOOOO BAAAAAAD. Its almost impossible to go straight while riding for some reason. The wagon keeps over turning or turning the opposite side of what I want. This game, was awesome! But it did come with some, problems. First when I was playing it, it said I had to download 3.74gb worth of stuff! But when I downloaded it, it was stuck at 99%! But after a little bit of trying it had started playing. Other than that I’ve been playing it a lot today! Games

I can’t wait until technology is so good you’ll be able to play all incredible games on hand helds. Its coming.. the console will be obsolete and people will have phones with huge storage . Great graphics cards snd we can play wherever. It started with KOTOR, then to Grand Theft Auto. Now this . Soon you will be playing Red Dead Two. I wish Alienware made phones. Anyway, sorry for the rent but yeah, this is a classic rockstar game. Of course it’s gonna be great.

Amazing

This is the best game to play on a long road trip. Another good thing is that it’s free! $40 for the same thing is not worth it…just get the free one. But without all that this is perfect especially after playing rdr2 and being able to continue the story on my mobile device! You can even connect a controller and play with no input delay!!!! I love this I play it on my iPad all the time, but recently it stopped loading and I can no longer play. When I look on the App Store it says this game is compatible with my device so I don’t know the issue. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling it, clearing my storage, factory reset my iPad but none of those has solved the issue. Someone please lmk if this is an issue with anyone else.

Game Is Unplayable Due to False Storage Error

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max with 800GB of free storage, yet the game repeatedly claims my device is out of space and requires an additional 7.84GB. I’ve reinstalled the game multiple times, tested both Wi-Fi and cellular downloads, and the issue persists every time. The resource download fails at 99% and ends with an unknown error. This is clearly a bug and prevents the game from being played at all. Very disappointing for a paid Netflix title. Please fix this issue.

Amazing game, it just needs a rdr2

This game is very fun and it’s not very hard to shoot, I just wish it was like red redemption two and maybe Netflix could get licensing or something like that for they can make a red dead, red redemption, two Netflix version, in red, dead, red redemption, you can customize your character and your land and your horse and there’s so much fun stuff that you can do and I wish that maybe they could update the game for it could be like two because two is just so cool and I wanna play so bad

Stopped working

I don’t know if Netflix did some kind of update but every time I try to play it tells me I have to download 3.73 gigs. Then after it hits 99% it tells me I have to free up space. I have 55 gigs of free space. I have off loaded the game, uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the Netflix app to no avail. I’m on iPhone 15 pro max with iOS 26.5. I have asked ChatGPT and perplexity given them my settings. They insist that the problem most likely is on the Netflix side. Would like to be able to play the game again. Unfortunately have to give 1 star rating until fixed. Thank you for the stock answer however I’ve already been to the “in game support” and it is no help.

Great game, but frustrating download loop!

I am playing this game on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Occasionally, there are severe frame drops, which I can completely ignore because the game itself is good. However, there is a massive, frustrating issue: every time I exit the game and try to play again after an hour or two, it forces me to re-download a 3.5 +GB in-game file. I currently have 10-15 GB of free storage, so it's definitely not a low storage issue. To make matters worse, if my network switches (e.g., from one Wi-Fi to another, or from Wi-Fi to mobile data) during the update, the entire download gets deleted and restarts from 0%. Having to download 3.5 GB every single time I want to play is a terrible user experience. Developers, please fix this exhausting download loop bug as soon as possible!

An excellent game

Love this game! The attention to detail is phenomenal. Little things like the way your horse jumps a little in a thunderstorm and the way someone falls off the horse after being shot. And the games inside the game (blackjack, horse shoes, arm wrestling, etc.) are great. The only problem is since the IOS update, it’s completely unplayable. I’m afraid John Marston withdrawals will set in. Help?

The BEST shooter game of all time

I love Red Dead Redemption. It’s one of my all time favorites and the fact that I can play it for free while needing a Netflix subscription is GREAT. I also appreciate how Undead Nightmare is included as it would make the game more enjoyable. But the game doesn’t have multiplayer, which is unfortunate as the paid version also doesn’t have multiplayer, so if there would be a way to add multiplayer that would be great

Really awesome but one issue

This game is phenomenal and I love the physics and everything about the game, but the issue with the bureau outfit is that it’s a little too dirty and it needs to have no dirt on it so it looks more clean and professional. Please fix this thanks!!

Amazing

If more games like this get converted to Apple Games, I’m honestly not going back to console.
