This is unplayable. Dialog boxes remain on screen and overlap with each other, text moves too fast to read automatically, text will repeat itself over and over again, and story options are broken, merged into single lines instead of having separate options that can be selected

I bought this to play on my Mangmi Air X but it has graphical glitches. I can't refund it despite only playing it for a few mins so now I'm stuck with it. For a $20 game I expected better.

played Katarina, game has issues with new line characters in dialogue and choices, like the inn said 'Stay.Leave.' on the same line, single choice. Another root cause might be how it expects line breaks to happen, two words connected with a period (ie ending a sentence then starting a new one without a space) triggers both words to be moved to the next line if they won't fit in the box. I'm not going to bother with this game as I expect this will lead to breaking issues later.

In-game dialogue seems broken where text bubbles don't show anything. In Android 16 it seems that text is also lacking line breaks and it's impossible to understand which option from the dialogue we're choosing.

I enjoy the series, but the functionality on mobile is questionable at best. Characters repeat the same dialog with small variations in a lengthy loop when opening chests or interacting with NPCs. The dialog also auto advances so fast you miss most of the story and objectives. Travel locations at the port run together in the selection window, making many of them inaccessible.

I have a galaxy s23. 1. I literally can't read anything because it is speeding through all texts in all scenes. 2. an empty text box overlaps on active text boxes periodically. 3. sentences repeat over and over until, guess, it moves on? 4. there is an empty text box that pops up after every battle. idk if is actually has a function because it disappears quickly. all in all, I have no idea with plot is... I pick out specific words to get a super basic idea. can this be fixed please?

After the update, characters dialogue text become a garble mess and always on auto. Cloud authentication failed when trying to save/load data from Cloud Sync. Before the update, the Cloud Sync was fine. Please fix the bugs!

Samsung phones are boosting the framerate and it makes the game too fast. You need to set the refresh rate on these phones to 60 Hz to make the game playable.

Can someone explain why does a legendary game has third party companies to have your personal data from your device along with your other ID and has to be online. It's a game from way back then, it does not need to be online for it to work.

You have been warned. I love this game, but I have tested on several phones running the latest build. Game black screens after the intro. There is no fix and Squares only suggestion was I play on a phone running Android 10 or earlier. If you buy this game, be aware of this. Same for RS2, Sadly.

5stars without hesitation. Thx for bringing back my old fond memories. Romancing Saga 3 was my first ever game for JRPGs. Even though it was in japanese and pirate back then and I merely played this game without the true understanding to its plots, I still enjoyed it so much. Now Im so happy I can purchase it legally as a token of appreciation to developers. This game is full vibrant yet detailed storylines with awesome heroes, not to mention about the exceptional musics and mysteries. LOVE IT!

Barely started playing and I love Saga games and I'm still enjoying it.... but it has the absolute worst controls I've ever seen on a game, especially on a port of a classic game. The slightest twitch and you're shooting off in a direction you don't want to go because there's no apparent virtual joy pad. Tapping controls are garbage. They can select things, select the things next to what you touched, do nothing, confirm selections on the other side of the screen etc. Did you play test at all?

These controls are such a pain. Every round of combat you have to reach over and click the uncomfortably placed formation choice. Also, no confirmation button or direction pad choices. In a romancing saga game. A weird drag on the screen for your direction thing. Again, in a romancing saga game. The fighting is the worst. At least let us click the screen anywhere to start the round or give us a d-pad and confirmation button in fights.

SaGa Frontier remaster needs to be out, now.. This will hold me over for a while, though, I guess. Great game.. I have a hard time committing to sitting down and playing these old school JRPGs on TV as console games as an adult, but these types of games are great for lying in bed awake at night, sitting in a waiting room, et cetera, so more power to Squeenix for padding out their mobile catalogue. Totally getting the SF remaster on Android when it releases next month 😀

Brutal at times, but a nice change from typical traditional jRPGs. If you take a little time to read instructions and guides (and get the bad habits you may have picked up from traditional jRPGs like Final Fantasy) it will make a world of difference.

Amazing old school RPG with a steep learning curve but very rewarding, a few people have complained about the controls but after a few hours of use they become natural, just keep in mind that you can't tap options directly, swipe to scroll and then tap anywhere to select e.g. from your inventory. Steep price but it's a 100+ hour square enix RPG, highly recommend!
