The game requires you to spend loads of money and is extremely deceptive. I purchased items only to later find out you could not even use them. I requested assistance to switch the item from their Echo service since their in game info is highly deceptive and misleading. stay away from this game at all costs. it is a deceptive scam and they don't care to fix anything. the worst customer service you could experience.

Great game! Loads of different elements. Great for team playing. Lots to do with mini games, temporary events and upgrades. Very competitive game, among rival teams. Can also create allies. This game is by far the biggest scam of the p2p. In the start of season 1, the server will be over populated with a mix of fast and slow growing bots. Bots are aimed to promote an active server, but they instead create alliances of completely afk members that one p2p is able to control to kill half a map, the bots grow way to fast to Then there is developers and moderators who play in game, making there account the highest power. meaning every purchase will never get you past the top members.

I have been playing this game for a while. I've been in many servers. I was playing back when Cordelia was the daily deal instead of Molly and we were able to have her from the beginning. This game has changed drastically. You can definitely play and get some decent heroes without spending but you will be left behind. Ships will be at level 20 while you are still at 13 if you can't afford to spend. Ship parts are ridiculously almost impossible to get at your ship level now. I do not recommend

I’m convinced that whoever designed the micro transactions system and prices for this game interned and studied at Auschwitz. It’s a pay-to-win trap. Before the developer comes in and say “activity is important” Been active every single day. Sure for S1 you’ll be viable, but by S2 and SS you’re completely dead in the water as a f2p. weekly purchase limit should be implemented, similar to something like what Runescape has, where you can’t just through money at the game and completely upset the game balance/economy.

I do not suggest downloading unless you plan on spending money. People in the reviews claiming that you do not have to spend, are flat out lying. The developers cater to paying players period. No matter how much time you play, you will not be able to compete with paying players. This is not an opinion, it is a fact. The game needs smaller players, in-order for the paying players to attack and advance. You are the smaller player. In my game right now, we are matched against player 3 times our size. There’s no chance of winning, in fact most of us have quit playing because not only is it a waste of time, but it’s simply not fun losing every single day. Imagine you and your gang spend days and weeks building up territory and capturing ports. It’s actually pretty fun. Until you catch the eye of a bigger gang. They will steal and take everything you have spent weeks building in just a few hours. You will watch from your device, and be helpless to do anything to stop it. I promise, it will be a sad time for you. The game itself is fun. There’s a lot of content and they do update regularly. However, if you are not prepared for the bullying and harassment, you will regret playing.

Bullying is rampant

Sure you can play for free, but you wont level up quickly and you ‘ll be continually attacked by bullies that clearly pay A LOT OF MONEY to play this game. Bullying is really out of control. Misleading marketing

First of all, this game is a cash grab the likes of which I’ve never seen. Their “value” packs are ridiculously overpriced and any items of real consequence are anywhere from $20-$100 USD and it’s easy to go up from there! Secondly, there’s mini-games that require purchases in order to receive points, but what counts as a qualifying purchase isn’t clearly explained. Lastly, the customer service is non-existent. It feels like AI-generated responses and there’s certainly nothing the developers, or this AI customer service, is willing to do to actually remedy any issues. Overall, I would sincerely recommend avoiding this game, there far too many better games that offer a more rewarding experience for much less invested.

You don’t have to spend money

As titled I’ve been playing for about 8 months and haven’t spent a dime. You won’t be the strongest but I’m at 120 mil power and as long as you pick a good gang you’ll be fine. Im not constantly playing either I just check a few times a day to do daily task and trade. This is just for people who think you have to pay to enjoy playing this game. If you’re worried about whales join a gang with whales and don’t stress about keeping up with joneses, you can’t some people spend thousands on this game.
