About

Fill every square with a diagonal. No loops. Pure logic, one solution.

Slant is a satisfying logic puzzle built around two simple strokes and one hard rule: never close a loop. Fill every square on the grid with a single diagonal — either ╲ or ╱. Numbers sit on the corners and tell you exactly how many strokes must touch that point. Follow the clues, keep the paths open, and work your way to a board with no blanks and no closed loops. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, so you solve with logic — never guessing. HOW TO PLAY • Tap a square to cycle through empty → ╲ → ╱ • Long-press to step backwards • Corner numbers count the strokes touching that point • A 0 means nothing may reach that corner — your strongest clue • Strokes connect into paths, but those paths must never loop back on themselves • Slant highlights loops instantly so you can undo and try again SIX LEVELS, SIX GRID SIZES Warm up on a roomy 6×6 Easy board, then climb through Medium, Hard, Expert, Master, and Legend — all the way up to a dense 16×16 grid. Each level is a different size and a different kind of challenge. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can continue right where you left off. DAILY CHALLENGE One fresh puzzle every day — the same board for everyone. Solve it cleanly for the best score. Using Check, Hint, or Undo costs points, so the leaderboard rewards sharp thinking over shortcuts. Compete on the global board and see how you stack up. BUILT FOR THINKING • Visual in-app rules with clear diagrams — learn in seconds • Pinch to zoom and pan on larger boards • Undo, Check, and Hint when you need them • Sound effects and haptic feedback (optional) • Clean, calm design that keeps the focus on the puzzle Whether you have five minutes or an hour, Slant is the kind of puzzle that feels simple at first glance and quietly deep once you start tracing the paths. Download Slant and see if you can fill every square without closing a loop.
