It’s an older game with solid basics, but it feels outdated. Games take too long, raids are limited unless you use crystals, and getting upgraded characters is tilted extremely towards the p2w side.

Need to chill out with the pop ups at the start of game is fun but the unnecessary push of irrelevant in game modes is exhausting. Also…why add the option of “don’t show me this again today” box if it pops up every time I boot the app up?

The game is a lot of fun but most of the time unless you are spending money you won’t get very far. The events are 4-5 days long and barely get any free currency for the event to be able to receive better characters. Also spending money doesn’t get you much and sometimes the characters say unlocked but will not. Very buggy and poor support. Play at your own risk.

Initially, this game was pretty interesting. Merge to make monsters to battle it out. Each stage has several rounds, which they call days, with a boss at every 10. Caught on pretty quickly that leveling up would take actual money, and I did buy a pass because I was enjoying playing every day. After a couple stages, it started to take FOREVER to complete one, not because of the difficulty of the stage, but the “fight” part just took too long. You can watch an ad to speed up the fight, but I hate ads, so I endured. At the 15th stage, there were 40 days. I was ok for the first 30 days, but the last ten made me miserable. By day 37, I was fairly certain I didn’t want to play this again.

This game has become my daily escape. It has gatcha elements, but you really don’t need to participate in them to enjoy the game. My best advice is to join or create a guild that has active players. Take part in all of the co-op things you can, and enjoy the rewards! Much better than gatcha! The one downside is that you can’t try a character or lord before you start to save up for it, so research first.

This is a decent enough time killer of a game but the ads are just unforgivable. It’s to the point where I’m going out of my way to write this review which should tell you something. It’s not that they’re plentiful, it’s that the ads for this game last sometime up to three minutes before giving you the option to leave. It’s disrespectful to users and just gross.

You need to pay to do absolutely anything cool in this game or watch 2 to 5 minutes of ads per action or perk you are trying to obtain. I’ve played other rougelikes that are like this, but you usually don’t have to watch a ton of ads for AFK features, collecting rewards after mission completion, raid reward collections, etc. leveling up gear monsters and such, is incredibly annoying too. This has potential to be one of the best rougelike tower defense games, if they just tone down all of the pay for play features.

At least the ads never open my browser. I found a cool trick where I set up five in a row but below that I put the next level up of that monster under the ones on the end and the next level from those underneath them. So fun but the coins interfere if I have chosen that reward, so please have those appear at the bottom. Also every once in a while I accidentally tap my screen on the edge and a monster goes away. Double check with me please! It’s so frustrating to lose a monster that way. Today the app was glitching so I thought I’d just uninstall and reinstall and it made me start over. How frustrating.

I've been playing this game for over a year, and while it's definitely fun and addictive, there are some frustrating parts. The gameplay itself is enjoyable, and there's a lot to like in terms of design, features, and events. However, the in-game prices are ridiculously high. Everything costs so much that it feels like you're constantly pressured to spend money just to keep up. Leveling up is also extremely slow unless you're willing to pay. After a certain point, it feels nearly impossible to progress without spending real money, which takes away from the overall experience. I still play because I enjoy it, but I really wish the developers would make things more balanced for free-to-play players.

I used to play this game daily, and the updates were relatively consistent to keep you interested, but I do not recommend spending money. When I played originally, there was no option to bind your account and the developers are too slow to respond or help to help me regain access. I regularly bought packs and had tons of progress so I was too far along to start over. Edit: I did get access back so added a few stars, but the new character release cadence and monetization is pretty bad. As someone with a legacy account that had every character, I have 0 of the SS and SSS characters. No practical way to earn them.

I really enjoy this game. I have been playing it for 2 years. The only thing that stinks is there is almost no way to get SS characters and things without spending hundreds upon hundreds for a single character. I love the puzzle and character aspect with abilities to defeat some things. Definitely worth playing.

The game itself is fun, and offers plenty of different RNG paths. However, it’s stacked against you. The levels don’t just become harder, they become impossible after the 3rd map. Most of the special characters are heavily monetized and are barred by pay walls. Unfortunately this game has great potential, but poor execution.

Best and Worst!! Best: This is quite possibly one of the best match-engine, turn-based games I’ve ever played. Worst: You could spend all of your money on it as to how they have monetized everything all the time and peak your R-factor. Watch out if you suffer from addiction or if you have a child playing this with access to pay: you could blow thousands in minutes…seriously the ethics of app games are $#!+.

Definitely one of the best games I’ve played on mobile, and I’ve played a lot. Merging is very tactical, learning more efficient merging techniques is fun and rewarding, and the different levels offer different challenges that are unique puzzles to solve. Very fun if you like strategy games like I do!

Super pay to win. Most pay to win games have a slightly diluted free to pay method of playing. You won’t find that here. You’ll make it to level five or six and get stuck. Every aspect or reward platform on the game has a pay option that victory is contingent upon. Also, a bunch of annoying Chinese symbols everywhere that developers didn’t finish porting the English version. Don’t waste your time.

At first it seemed great. I like the idea. As a new player I am following the red dot. I even bought the 6.99 deal as I thought I would continue to enjoy the game. Following the red dots I ended on a page to buy stuff with purple gems I had earned. The screen doesn’t show if I have any of these gems. I click on something that cost 400 and it says I don’t have enough. I click on something that cost 100 and I get it. A waste though because it’s not what I would want. I click around more and get to a page where there is no English, just Chinese symbols. I want my money back! This is not ready for release. Do not download this game!
