Solitaire Associations Journey

Started out really fun. Minimal ads, which was awesome! Then, a ways in it changed. There is no more option to watch ads to add moves, only premium currency. Locked rows. Not enough moves. Mid game ads. I'm very disappointed.

I was excited to play it, but now i hate it after 3 plays. they give you a certain amount of moves and then they ask you to watch an ad or pay 2,000 some coins and they don't give you a lot of coins. it takes the fun out of the game. They will try to defend my review, but don't listen to them. It's not worth the headache.

I enjoyed this game before going to bed for a long time and it's so sad to see how the last update turned the game into an excuse to put ads. Basically you'll play for a while until you get to levels that are literally impossible to solve unless you watch ads to get more moves. what a joke. HAH! Loved this app for quite awhile but since a major update, the game has become impossible and there are no free hints or help. Since adding the locked cards, it takes upwards of fifty tries to get the perfect shuffle. Looking for a replacement app.

A Good Idea, Ruined by Ads

I love the idea of this game. I like word association games (think nyt connections) and I play solitaire pretty regularly. The experience is overwhelmingly bogged down by ads. There’s even ad breaks in the middle of the longer levels. I also think the number of moves is purposefully capped so that you can’t win if you need to cycle through the deck two full times, just so they can show you more ads to give you ~just a couple more moves~. Could just be a skill issue on my part tho. It’s a fun game, just really obnoxious to play.

Not worth it.

Starting off yes there are a ridiculous amount of ads. Of course you can get rid of them by only paying a whole 9.99 of your hard earned money on this cheaply made MOBILE game. Nextly I have made it to level 6. I have tried maybe 6-15 times to beat this level without watching ads or using money, I CAN NOT beat it without either. Plus they have this heart life system which is bull, cause when I play a mobile game I don’t like only having like 5 life’s that last me 20 mins of play just to have to wait like 2-4 hours to play again UNLESS you watch an ad. I like being able to play as long as I want and not be on a money leash. Definitely deleting this game. Really wanted to like it but mobile games all suck now :D

this is ok but you end up having to watch so many ads for extra lives to continue pretty much every level. it's very tedious and time consuming so it ruins the fun of the game

Fun Game, Too Many Ads

Super fun!

It is soooo fun! It is much more easy to understand than the other solitaire games, the ad breaks are kinda annoying but there is only one every round so they aren’t that annoying. I haven’t encountered any bugs, and I like how you have 5 hearts instead of the usual 3. So I can still play a lot before having to wait for more. I would really recommend this and the only reason you might not like it is the ads.

Enjoyed the game except for two things. You can only get 5 extra moves by watching an ad and each turn & play = 2 moves. Even that option is limited to just a few times a day. I'm uninstalling. Edit: re devlp response --> If you don't have "coins" you are limited to 5 or 6 add watches a day. And only max 2 cards can play after each add.

Great concept but if you have to buy or watch ads to win makes it a pay to win

Look I get it you need to make your money but I make a point to see if it is possible to win a level without watching ads for power up and after level 5 that is impossible. In order to win the level you have to watch ads or spend gold to win there is no other way to do it. I can only assume that it is only going to get harder. This is clearly a pay to win game. In order to win the level you must spend money either in game or out. Very said I love the concept

What started out as a fun, relaxing solitaire game quickly turned into a blatant cash grab. As you progress, the levels become intentionally impossible to beat without buying extra moves or power-ups. The "challenges" aren't actually challenging based on skill—they are just rigged to force you to spend real money. If you don't want to open your wallet constantly just to clear a deck, don't bother downloading this. Completely ruined the journey for me.

The ads that cannot be closed!

The game itself is quite entertaining, and I do not mind watching some ads to play for free. BUT! I hate it when ads automatically redirect you to a website when you’re just trying to close them. OR, it’s impossible to close the ad at all, like the stupid TEMU ad. It got so annoying I deleted the app altogether.

Game was fun

The game was fun played it a lot. Some problems with it is flipping the card shouldn’t count as a move and as of yesterday or today forced ads in between like every two moves, interrupts gameplay and probably make me delete it. Way too many ads.

Things were fine until I got to Level 54. Then the app started crashing. Figured, okay, I'll reinstall it, that should fix it. OH THERE GOES MY PROGRESS! That alone dropped it from a 5 to 1. Don't bother people. If you do, make sure to have a VPN with an ad blocker handy. The ads are ridiculous.

This is a game that engages the mind. it's challenging, fun and addicting. I like learning the new words and associations. There are a lot of ads, worth it to pay to stop them. I also wish they had a way to log in and create a profile. I recently switched phones and had to start all over. I had reached level 789 on my old phone

I am enjoying the game but I mostly bought it for the music that plays in the adds that run during other games, only to be disappointed that it does not play the fun music. I wish there was an option to pick between that song that plays in the adds and the other song.

Ads have made this unplayable

I don’t mind ads in free games, but this is ridiculous - the ads happen in the middle of your turn now and completely disrupt the flow of the game. Many are also extremely long (>60 seconds). Removing ads is too expensive so I’m going to find an alternative game.

Fun game, but…

Overall, this is a fun game and a great concept, however, they have added multiple challenges to the game, which are interesting, but they create situations where you can play the game perfectly, yet not be able to complete the level without burning coins or watching ads (which aren’t loading for some reason now). If I miss a play, fine, but the game should be winnable at a minimum. There should be a per-challenge addition of plays when challenges are used. The way it is now just isn’t fair, and it has negatively impacted my desire to play the game.

I'd give this 5 stars if it weren't for the random and intrusive ad breaks after a couple of moves and then ads after every round. Now you have lives so there is no endless fun or restarts 😩 It's great for passing the time and sharpening your mind to recognize words and images

It's fun, but the ads seriously get in the way and you can't play the game without internet connection which makes it inconvenient for traveling. There were times I had to close the whole game because you can't click off the ads once they're done

Good game but very long ads. I actually paid for it to remove most of the ads but there's still a few you have to suffer through if you need extra moves. Worst ads are for that gossip harbour game which are just awful, and marginally offensive, depicting women as helpless and the ad just goes on for ages without the ability to skip/continue! Game is good though so it's a pity!

Decent game, challenging, need to work on the category cards- some really weird abbreviations that you don’t know are abbreviations & some odd misspellings. High levels can have you spending more time looking up words more than playing. I can handle ads here and there but OMG I’ve been seeing the same ads for ONE GAME for WEEKS!!! I will never play that game because of it. I want to throw my phone every time one comes up. Please vary your ads for the sanity of your audience.

Not clear instructions

I love this game at it's core, but the lives system need to go. Too often are decks unsolvable which makes the loss of lives add up fast. I'd play the game more if it didn't have the lives system.

Annoying pop up ad technique

Excessive Ads

Fun game with glaring issues.

It's a fun spin on solitaire. However, let's be realistic here, whether you're matching card suites, or word associations.... it's solitaire. In app purchases?! I will never spend a single cent on solitaire. Timer controlled attempts? Why? Nobody is going to pay for energy to play another round of solitaire. You want to charge for something, charge for content. Charge for new categories, backgrounds, or partner with a known brand like Star Wars or Star Trek and charge for themed content. This is a VERY basic game, I would be shocked if you get many people paying for in game currency to buy attempts. And so anyone is curious, it is like 15 minutes to recharge one attempt, so this is not a time waster game. Each attempt, win or lose burns an attempt. So if you're like most solitaire players, and play to occupy yourself while you are waiting around for something or someone, this isn't the game. So it kind of shoots itself in the foot straight from jump. I will play this occasionally, but I am now searching for a good solitaire game that doesn't require Ad watching or paying to play a game that is a stand in for a deck of cards.

The game itself is super fun, but the number of moves is VERY limited….like, annoyingly so. Make even 1 or 2 wrong moves & you don’t have enough left to finish the round! That combined with the nonstop ads makes this a no-go for me. They want you to watch a million ads AND buy more more moves because they give you hardly any, so the whole app just feels like a money grab.

Fun but too annoying. A “turn” shouldn’t be counted as flipping a card and placing a card! That’s why I have deleted the game. I don’t mind watching ads but to sit through them for 5 more turns that only count as 3 is just wrong. My patience has worn thin. Thanks anyway.

TOO MANY ADS!!!! I get that there has to be some ads. But there is an ad everytime you clear a stack. You can click the “coin” button and go pay $9.99 to make it ad free. But I would rather play a free version of this game with less ads. Associate Words, is the same game with barely any ads… I’ll stick to it!

My honest opinion ~♡

Honestly is good I deleted the game a while ago but imma say this. As the levels got harder it felt like the majority of the words were made up. I even asked my dad what they were he seems to know every word in existence but he even doesn’t know these words. Sorry but I didn’t find it calming I wish there could be modes like easy mode. With simple words but still loads of levels in each mode. Oh! And also there are too much ads.

Used to love it

So this game used to be great, rarely got ads and especially never not any forced pop-up ads. But now, I get around 5 pop up ads per minute that take up the whole screen, you have to swipe down to get rid of them. It adds less excitement and more irritation. It also makes it much harder to concentrate.
