really amazing, stollenmayer never fails to deliver. only bad thing is how short is was, for me at least. but really creative and beautiful.
- DirtyBubble · v1.05
Very unique, beautifully created. Well done 😊
- Rosanna Beal
love love love.
- Paula R · v1.05
Marvellous.
- Rose · v1.05
Trigger warning. It should have a self-harm trigger warning. Otherwise a nice game although I was a bit miffed I had to get off the sofa to find a charger...
- Nathanael Roome · v1.05
This game is exceptional! So unique and well done.
- Jamie Chapel · v1.05
One of the most beautiful games I've ever played. An absolute work of art.
- Sebastian Satkurunath · v1.05
really good 💯
- Karissa Faro · v1.05
I adored the simultaneously simple yet complex design of this game. weaving an amazingly melancholic story into the mix through snippets of dialogue and imagery. I'm only disappointed the journey is over.
- joshua woolley · v1.05
this was such an amazing game, I have no words! now I want to play other games by the same dev. the puzzles are a bit hard, at the start I didn't think I would be smart enough to play this but as it turns out I had a lot of fun and really appreciate the artwork, music and all the effort that was clearly put into this
- Gabriella Azevedo · v1.05
I started this game, had to quit, came back, and now I'm stuck on the intro screen and can't figure out how to resume my game. 🤷♂️ Honestly, it's not intriguing, it's annoying.
- Tony Maddox · v1.05
Absolut Cinema 🖐🙂🤚
- Cârcu Yannis Alexandru · v1.05
This some kind boggling game for sure would reccomend half figuring the puzzle and half confused about the abstract meaning behind this
- Owen
really amazing innovative game, great sound design and interesting unique puzzles.
- Musical Foxes (Tj) · v1.05
Quite the incredible thing and moment the creator made with this experience since it's more of an experience than a game.
- D Johnson · v1.05
this game is amazing, I really really love the visuals. it's pleasant to see. the voice and the music too, they compliment each other. this is art, this game is an art piece, this game is beautiful.
- M Aria Harisbaya · v1.05
Masterpiece both visually and technically, one of the best puzzles I have ever played!
- silversurficus · v1.05
very good the level design was a (cool) surprise to see
- everest · v1.05
I get that it's supposed to be arty and thought provoking. But this game is genuinely garbage.
- solo xfly · v1.05
doesn't work with the charging level on oneplus device
- Anuj sharma · v1.05
I feel like I'm missing something. All that ever appeared on my screen was a weird intro and a screen that said START. I messed around on the start screen trying to get something to happen for about 5 minutes. Then I uninstalled.
- Diane McMurry
I felt a genuine intense feeling of sadness when I beat this game. the puzzles make you think, the story makes you feel. beautifully created!
- Brandon Tisdale · v1.05
Alluring! Song of Bloom utilizes mobile phone features as part of the puzzles, combined with intriguing visuals and audio, making this short game a unique experience.
- W · v1.05
An immersive work of art.
- Deborah Brady · v1.05
This is a masterpiece, playing with the symbolism, using colors, shapes and more to tell a story was amazing, well done everyone, kudos.
- Erick Eulalio Castillo Coronado · v1.05
Good visual style. Pretty easy. Only puzzle I got caught on was the videos where you just have to make them all pause. I thought that, because each of the blocks was assigned a symbol when you paused their videos, that I had to re-enter the paper puzzle proper to align them to where their symbols lay on the star map... but no. I made this leap when I couldn't get a symbol on the final, main, champagne pop video. Shoulda tapped more. Just make all videos pause and collect free *. Silly me.
- Isaiah Daniels
So insanely good. unreal
- Faith acuff · v1.05
Such a cool and rewarding game, but I can't get past my last puzzle (at the top of the tree). I've tried solving it on my own, following the hints, doing it in a certain order, tapping certain spots, paying careful attention to the branches... Nothing works, so I ended up trying to look it up, which didn't help either. It's such an awesome game that it makes me frustrated I'm not able to finish it, and instead stuck in a loop of "And again..." again and again.
- jude horribly · v1.05
Perfect little game to finish in one sitting. Really creative puzzles, reminds me a lot of Device 6.
- Josh Lamm
such beautiful and clever storytelling, along with an all-enjoyment exploration experience. thank you for blessing our unworthy minds with this masterpiece, phillip :]

- Finn Carson · v1.03
UPDATE: 4/25/2026 Game is completely unplayable now because the last level, putting the flowers on the tree, has never been fixed! So you can’t win. Why bother if the dev never updates this game?! I’m honestly angry and heartbroken because this used to be my favorite game! Now I have to delete it. It’s a real shame! 😡😢 Btw: The new Bacon in Zane game is riddled with ads, so I think it’s safe to say I won’t be downloading this guy’s content again. played other games by this developer, like Bacon and Okay. Both were fun in concept, but Okay got hard way too quickly, and Bacon is loaded with ads! Original Review: Song of Bloom is very different! I read that it took a year and a half, and it shows! It’s very creative, but you may need a walkthrough, because it’s very confusing, even a little convoluted! But I played through the game twice now, and I absolutely love it! Just a couple of things that keep it from a 5 star game: 1) There’s a bug at the end (the final puzzle) where you put flowers on the tree. The game didn’t register that I’d finished the level, so it technically didn’t end the game lol! Please fix this bug! 2) The origami level with the red roof was very frustrating and took me way too long to finally do! Also, the puzzle where you “bloom” the flowers was very confusing and ultimately very aggravating! This game is not very forgiving at all! If there are more glitches, I’ll update this review, but other than what I’ve mentioned, the game runs pretty smoothly! The art and music are both incredible, and I definitely recommend you play Song of Bloom at least once - you’ll love it! Just know that it’s very short, maybe 45 minutes to an hour. Advice (maybe a mild spoiler): Make sure you’re near your phone or iPad charger before you play, you’ll need it!
- Biggggmannnnn · v1.04
I love this, I'm seeing hidden opportunities in everything now!! the only problem I have with this so far is the bouncing block, I can't move the top rectangle to redirect the block! please fix this. that's all.
- John Barlow · v1.03
I spent 1.99$ for this app and the game won’t even load. Wasted my money. It won’t load pass start of a new beginning on the iPhone 17 pro max
- VictorSam1500 · v1.04
This is a really lovely and well thought out game that uses the phone itself as part of the puzzles. All of the puzzles felt intuitive and interesting.
- Erin · v1.03
The only reason this isn’t a five star review is because it was so short. I completed the game in about an hour. That being said, the game was beautiful and thought provoking, and easily one of my top ten favorite mobile games I’ve played this year.
- Thatdudeyoujustsawonthestreet · v1.04
look i dont normally do reviews but this desverved it. i beat the game in like an hour but every second of it was amazing. you have to figure out a bunch of puzzles and while figuring out the puzzles you get a bloom flower type thing. truly amazing would recommend.
- PrincesaLeia💗 · v1.04
Wild experience. very creative.
- Bailey Wyman · v1.03
I finished this game in a single sitting, I really appreciate the developer's efforts. it's worth every single penny.
- Bhuvneet Saggu · v1.03
so good and smooth that I can make a swipe
- ginger jackson lambdin · v1.03
Absolutely wonderful narrative, especially for a puzzle game. The story flows in perfect harmony with the puzzles. This is a game of perspectives. Challenging preconceived notions, finding new paths for the same problems. And it is about doing the same with life.
- Pen and Quill Association · v1.03
Glitched and wouldn’t move beyond the first sequence
- holde112 · v1.04

This game is a work of art. Not for the faint of thought. A blissful adventure with a truthful message. Beautiful and unique. If I had a list of games to "play before you die" this would be near the top.

- AP3rs0nloI · v1.04
This game was so creative and visually stylistic. So amazed by the effort. its so inspiring. Loved it
- Abdullah Islam · v1.01
This game was absolute cinema. I heavily enjoyed the nonlinear storytelling, as well as the repetition mechanics. It really made me think about the various symbols scattered throughout the story and left me combing over scenes I thought I was done with. It's such a good puzzle game, I honestly wish there was more.
- Space in Japan · v1.04
This is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played! We all deserve more fun and art in our lives and this game is it!! 100/10 I need more games like this.
- Tiggy21B · v1.04
i love this game it’s fun but really short. you’re probably not making a sequel, but at the very least can you make a button in the game that restarts it so i can play it through again from the beginning? thanks
- pnwpingo · v1.04
One of the best concepts and games I've played in here, even more when all the mobile games are low effort nowadays. From the art to the music, gameplay and mechanics, this game is simply awesome and nothing that I've played before. The only "bad" thing is that it is just too shot.
- Gabriel Santana Paredes · v1.01
I genuinely wanted to like/love this app. I wouldn't call it a game. It's a puzzle inside a riddle wrapped in an enigma. It is NOT easy to figure out. It is NOT intuitive. It's clunky and goes in circles, leaving you clueless as to whether or not you're doing anything right. No clue as to the objective... no instructions... ultimately it's frustrating. I actually feel guilty for not enjoying it... I wouldn't recommend to anyone except maybe those who have unlimited time and patience. :-/

- Trazko · v1.04
I couldn’t figure out at all how to navigate from one level to the next and had to keep starting from the beginning. This meant that I had to repeatedly solve the same puzzles over and over. Is this intentional? Some were easy to repeat but some were not and it quickly became frustrating and lost its appeal. Some puzzles seemed pretty cool and I was looking forward to playing more but ended up deleting. Way too obscure to be fun. Cheers for those who figured things out and were able to play it. I’m not one of them. I’m one of the ones who wonder if the game is obscure for the sake of being obscure. And re: the review that said how the dev is unresponsive - there is really no room in my heart for unresponsive devs. Imo, this game is poorly designed which makes it not fun to play.
- Suzsho · v1.04
better than the whole country of norway
- ayO WHAT THE DOG DOINGGGG · v1.04
i was not expecting this much detail from such a cheap game. it was better than any puzzle game ive ever played. i dont usually leave reviews for games, but this one needed one. i loved the interactive aspect, using the volume buttons, plugging in your phone, shaking it, etc. it was fun and kept me motivated to play, honestly! i only ask that we get a sequel of some sort soon!
- misty owl · v1.04
This game is the best game I have come across… ever. It is so immersive and has you playing nonstop until you finish. The only complaint I have is that it is too short. It would be wonderful to have an update, or an add-on or something like that. Also, I was wondering why this game had (only) 4.8 stars, so I read the reviews. The one star reviews are from people who didn’t understand the game or thought it had bugs, but really it was meant to be played a different way than the way they were playing, for example, one review said that it ended when it said “a new beginning” or someone else said that it just kept taking them back to the start, but really they just had to interact and get through the puzzles. And it would be nice to have some kind of walkthrough or extra hints. This is the longest review I have written, but it is just because this game is so outstanding. Thank you for taking the time to read this. 😁

The style, the interface, the purpose and even any other part of it that I've never experienced in the App Store. Brilliant.
- jaemiiiiiiiiiin · v1.04
This is my first game review. This is a beautiful, thought-provoking, melancholy experience that’s more art than game in the best way possible. Playing this game felt like stepping into a well-designed mixed media museum exhibit. The only downside is you can only play this game for the first time once. 5 stars, enjoy with a nice cup of tea

Absolute amazing experience. This is what mobile gaming SHOULD be; something with real sustenance. Although, the lack of replayability is mildly upsetting. STILL, I wish there there were more mobile games like this, and that this game would get the attention it truly deserves. Best mobile game of all time

Huge fan of this and really looking forward to whatever Phillipp works on next. The paddles on the ping pong level don’t work for me tho, I’m on the latest iOS on an iPhone 15
- ShirazKhan · v1.03
if i could give you more than five stars i would. this game had all the fun stuff. i looooooved it!! it was like if the inner workings of my brain actually had a backstory. got really deep there at the end and i don’t fully understand what exactly was happening, but i loved it nonetheless. anyway, i love all of your games and i hope to see more amazing ones like this in the future. sincerely, a very impressed gamer
- barkleydraco · v1.03
This game made me feel. The puzzles were so perfectly difficult and different. It’s a game of trial and error and patience.
- Tommy Feijoo · v1.03
This is one of those clever gameplay ideas that’s hiding something even more amazing. Too many words will spoil the experience—so take my advice and just download and play. So many props go to the developer and the composer. This is a work of art masquerading as a game!
- spiritedmatt · v1.03
I really loved this game, and uncovering the characters story. Though i was really sad when it ended... prequel? 🥺
- awnser reports · v1.03
Moving along until I got to the point where you are supposed to shake your device. I have an IPad Pro 12.9,shaking it doesn’t work. Is my device too big? Who knows. All I know is I’m stuck and can’t move forward. Feels more like a shakedown of $1.99 to me at this point. Bummer.

Game is fun but the pong thing isn’t moving, I know for a fact that you have to use the volume buttons but I click on them and nothing happens.
- hfotdoyxitdoyc · v1.03
So worth the few bucks. If you are reading this and you enjoy puzzle games, please do yourself a favor and get this!
- Hipponed · v1.03
I never write reviews but this game is amazing, getting creative by using volume buttons, charging your phone, and rotating it to get through levels, the beginning makes you question it so much but it fits together at the end perfectly. The symbolism and foreshadowing is awesome!
- type_ariial · v1.03
I don’t write reviews, but this game was absolutely beautiful. I loved it, and you will too.
- TotallyNotDead · v1.03
This is a lovely game with a poignant story. The puzzles are part of the story, too, rather than just being obstacles to get to the next part of it. There aren't typical written instructions, but it's all right in front of you; it's straightforward once you realize this.
- Tomi919 · v1.03
I couldn’t finish it without a walkthrough to get through a few sections, but it was rewarding. Good game.
- CasinoOwl · v1.03
As a creative person whose profession is in the creative arts, I not only failed to see what the HUGE deal about this is, but I found the end (your "reward" for getting through it, "the message," conclusion) disjointed, & certainly not that relevant to the little snippets of the the [minimal] "story" you kind of get over and over as you go through this thing. (And definitely not life hear There's one or two aspects about the end I found somewhat clever. So, fine. But, I found none of it deserving of the "Oh. My. God" and "changed my life" [um, interestingly, well . . . . . brief, for such a "life-changing experience" and all] reviews. The visually artistic nature is fine—touching in some places—but there are many other, more satisfying ways to engage with [more-compelling] art. The theme music [not technically a "song"] is a touch hokey/sentimental/a mite new-agey, but I think the first couple times you here the theme, it could be nice or "lovely" for you—but after the 40th time of the looping 15 or so seconds, it's just grating. I imagine a lot of people buy this, play through it some, get really stuck [there's no way not to—& that's good: it should be challenging]—but then many people either give up or watch a walk-through or something (defeating the purpose, but I "get" watching some video for just, like, one hint—I relied on my kiddo for a couple). I'm not faulting it for any of its difficulty. It's just that the end—with its one huge conflict with the actual experience of playing through this, and another very notable conflict if you're paying attention—it just makes for a significant disappointment. I wish I hadn't spent hours on this. Sorry to be one of the few who seems to have crashed this praise party. Actually, great effort [I'm a very different type of creative & could never develop a good offering, so these things are impressive to me], & I certainly imagine the developers will be able to please even critics like me with later work.

I can’t even describe how much I love this game. The abstract style fights against my sense of reality. I’m not even sure this is a game. But, I’ll tell you one thing. This isn’t the game of the week, month, year, decade, century, or millennium. This is the game of the megaanum.
