The gameplay was okay. Not amazing but I've played much much worse games. However, the ads that came up in other apps and just randomly opened the game while I was in the middle of doing other things were so aggressive that I uninstalled it. It's not good enough to be worth putting up with that multiple times a day. Edit: Why Is Your Advertising SO HOSTILE? You already made me not want to use your app, now you're making me not want to use any other app as well!

scopely support claims they take violations to their terms of service seriously. they don't. community manager(s) will give the VIP subscribers info about other players account, while scopely support won't even give that information to said player. players breaking TOS and their own employees breaking their NDAs is overlooked if the player is VIP. pay-2-win even outside the game play, huh? the game play is fun and challenging. game functions are constantly broken.

This game should come with a warning, it doesn't, so here it is.. Neurodivergent? Be careful. This game is a dopamine farming trap, fast, shallow, repetitive micro-goals designed to keep you hooked. As an AuDHDer, I got addicted quickly. It gave me structure and quick wins, but at the cost of time, energy, and focus. If you're neurodivergent, it can hijack your brain’s reward system. Play it if you love Star Trek, but go in with your eyes open.

It's one of those click and wait till tomorrow games. It ramps up to 12+ hours fairly early on and doesn't have a lot of strategy to it. With 75+ levels waiting many hours by level 15, all while hoping that another player doesn't blow you up, is disappointing. (PvP should should never be a forced feature on a game that's not an fps, and even then.) Finally, the pay-for-faster walls are really high, without a lot of benefit. Overall pretty unfortunate.

Scopely once again is not fixing the game correctly. I have reported the issues with the game to them and nothing happened. and now Alliance tournament is going with no information about each tasks. tried to do one and it won't let me, just keeps destroying my ships. I figured it out, I was supposed to pay to win, by buying the special ship for it as it's not available in game because you need it to get it. this game is completely rigged for paying players only. Do not download this game!

new update 09/28/26: Always LAG! Often 30sec lag to change screens. Same bugs remain after over a year. Game is still a giant dumpster fire since $copley was bought by Saudi Arabia . Terrible new (not Trek) content and now constantly pushing you to buy $99 packs. I play less and less. Game support is a bot that does nothing and boots you with no resolution and no recourse. Dont believe anything $copley posts here, as it's a lie. Read the 1star reviews here or go look at reddit.

I cannot decide if this is just a bad game or the Devs have just abandoned it. Field missions to help new players, but they are bugged thus useless. Game systems freeze or glitch out constantly. Send a ship into combat and the ship either doesn't move or when it arrives the game is about six seconds out of sync. Almost unplayable as a game and the newest server is a dead zone as a result.

I'll be honest, I love this game, but I cannot recommend it in its current state. There are so many QoL and stability issues that just don't seem to get any attention from the developers. I can't get through a morning routine without having to reload the game at least once. Chests just sit there and spin, you get stuck on screens waiting for something to happen, and your ships will just sit there after giving commands. The devs really need to create a task force to address stability concerns.

Lag issues are better but still exist. PvP levels are still too wide. There is too much difference in the levels of research and ships available.. 3.75 STARS. They are running 11 different events I can score in except I don't have the time to do 11 different events that take hours to finish then all.

DO NOT INSTALL! Buggy as hell. Not even really a Star Trek game. Tech support sucks. EDIT: bugs and lag continue. To make matters worse, Scopely has introduced content and buffs only larger players can access, but then allow larger players to reach down to smaller players who cannot defend against those power levels. Lower levels can reach down about 9 or 10 levels. Higher levels can reach down 15 levels but have the added buffs, allowing larger players to bully smaller ones without recourse

Lots of server lag. Their end, not the customer end. They did fix a PITA in the game, so that was nice. WARNING: They started this new ascension stuff that prevents you from going from Ops 39 to 40 without going through a bunch of unnecessary stuff. I'm not kidding. The overall concept of this game is fun, but the IAPs are very, very pricey and you basically need them or else it'll take months/years for you to upgrade your ship. On top of that, other players can raid your base and steal all your resources. It's not a causual game you can just play whenever you want because you need to constantly put up sheilds to protect yourself and be on top of it. Player base is very toxic. I played for several years and had enough.

The Field Training section of the game, which to me is essential since completing milestones, as it were, gives the person some nice rewards, has been broken for quite some time. Please make this a priority. In fact, perhaps you should fix major issues before updating content on top of a broken game.

Support is so rude you have to open three tickets per issue as they frequently just close it and tell you how wrong you are...........the game is broken --- issues they know about: 1)ships "fly in circles" while mid-combat or stray off visually and that requires a full close/reopen and causes death too often 2)opening recruit chests crashes the game 3) Alliance Tournaments, multiple events, and tons of other content broken yet they add more new events 4)graphics often fail and turn purple/black
