I love the game, I have been playing subway surfers for 14 years, my problem with this game is for some reason it updated the character and board tokens to be universal instead of specific to a surfer. It ruined the game and that actual enjoyment of it. I hope it goes back to how it was.

The game is nice level 36in sunrise Boulevard city tour is very hard. Why would you guys put the drones at the bottom and up please just put it in the front next to the finish line. It will make the game easier for me and the other players.

There is absolutely no way I bought the ask skin and he had a special animation and special jumping animation, and just for me to purchase Rey Romero and he has the default run, jump , and roll animation.. how can your developers be so lazy..there is absolutely no way I’m buying the season pass again, just for all characters to feel the same.. at least could have gave him a jump animation where he throws little cards down..ain’t no way I buy this to just have the laziest work put into it..

Game has been awesome since release, but for the past couple of weeks the quality has dropped. By quality I mean in performance, not in game events. The frame rate has dropped for some reason and everything is just more pixel-ly. Not sure why it’s like this now. I hope by writing this review someone will see it and maybe be able to fix it!

This game would have been perfect if it didn’t make you watch ads after every run. I’m Fine with it incentivizing you with rewards to watch ads because then I at least have a choice to watch the ads. But they don’t make you watch ads at the start they wait for You to get far enough into the game where you really enjoy it and want to progress further than they will make you watch an ad after every run. This game used to be great but was ruined by corporate greed and scummy owners. This was a game that I would’ve loved to progress far into but I can’t support the greed of these major companies. I’ll be uninstalling this game.

The game is genuinely amazing. I like the new power ups and the upgrade characters mechanic. I also like how the Double Coins power up isn’t exclusive to Monday. But I would prefer if you added some of the new train patterns back to this remaster. Like the part with bushes and things like that, but I’m probably just complaining because I played Subway Surfers for so long. 5 stars!

I just started, it’s so fun but i wish the error watching ads and getting rewards could be fix. Some of them i have to watch 2 same ads cause of expected error, and sometimes i watch like once and no more turn to watch and i lose the reward. Hope you could fix this.

iPhone 17e. After finishing a run, I kept seeing ads, and when they ended, the game would freeze and you couldn't close add, losing your progress. To avoid this problem, I made an in-game purchase to disable ads. After this purchase, the game stopped connecting to the server, so I couldn't participate in events. Switching between sections started required a 10-second wait. And after the latest update, the game started lagging terribly. You need to restart your phone, log in to the game, and wait on the main screen for about 10 minutes for the game to run smoothly.

The neverending glitches are bad enough, but when I buy the season pass or other things, it drives me crazy when, for the third time, the game gets locked because of an ad that gets stuck and my progress is erased. The last couple of times, it was the oreillyauto. com ad. Progress completely erased and I lost 25 keys using the 3X feature. I’m going to see if I can lodge a complaint with Apple (yeah, I know that won’t go anywhere) but I want my complaint to exist in writing. UPDATE - 9/29/26 I was contacted by Nastsichka regarding what happened. Over the past few days it was suggested it might be an issue with my phone. Then it turned to asking me for my player ID, which I sent screenshots TWICE! Now, it “we need your device model and your 0S info and is it just the oreilly ads. I’m not the only person complaining about the numerous glitches in both games but I feel like this is just going to keep spinning in circles; that the developers are deliberately wasting my time, and won’t go anywhere in the end. I’m over this and done jumping through this hoop. I’ve deleted both games. If you download this game, you do so at your own risk, but don’t buy anything. It’s just you throwing money away.

This game blew my expectations out of the water, yes the board mechanic is kind of shoved in, but characters are really unique in this, so it’s not just skins you’re paying for. Great game overall, but would i say it’s better than the original?… Yes i would, no doubt. If you liked the original you will love this. Also haven’t gotten a single ad so that’s nice.

Edit: They added where if you buy anything it removes the forced adds and you can just play the game now. Although it is annoying to be free 2 play I appreciate this option now. I stand by everything else I said it is a well made game that I enjoy and will be playing much more now. Original 2/5 - now 5/5. Overall I enjoy the game and think it is done relatively well, it has good mechanics and decent progression. It does seem like they want you to constantly buy stuff but honestly the free to play is good enough where you aren’t forced too. My one main critique is that ‼️WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ADS‼️. It is extremely frustrating to play one, maybe 2 levels just to have to sit through a 30 second ad. I understand making money, I do. But it genuinely seems like a cash grab using the likeness of the subway servers ip to make money. Even if you wanted to spend money to get rid of the ads it’s 6 dollars monthly for there battle pass that expires. If they were to tone down the ads and add a permanent no add option this game would be at least a 4.5 but with no such things and with the previously stated issues it gets a 2.

Best mobile game ever. It runs smoothly, doesn't use that much storage, looks good, is so fun to play, and perfectly fast paced with different challenges and goals and activities you can do. I used to play the original Subway Surfers until I realized that this 'new'/alternative version looks so much brighter. I love the details to the art and the style of the characters! :)

The game is a fun new take on subway surfers. The only problem which comes down to greed is the amount of ads after every single level or run when you press continue you still have to watch an ad even if you select not to. In a game where watching ads is supposed to give you things its very very greedy to force them and have no reward. Also the way the ads are run are predatory. As a developer i can say the game gets money whenever people click the ad and get redirected to the app store. The game forces you to go into the app store before you can close it. That breaks what could have been a great game for me. Turn your wifi and mobile data off to ensure this companies greed is not rewarded then its actually playable

Aside from the new Ark Survival Evolve in mobile, this game is top notch. Iys literally just like the original but more content and better graphics. Genuinely like GTA6 version. I cant really think of any flaws besides the fact the game js needs to live like any other game. Developers really put in something that almost no other sequels of game could do. Im just hoping they add PvP which WILL make the game probably the BEST mobile game in appstore.

Hello! I came up with an idea that I believe could make Subway Surfers City even more engaging while creating a stronger connection between the gameplay and the game world. Right now, before each run, the character pretends to spray graffiti on a train car, but it’s only an animation—the graffiti never actually appears or changes. I think it would be great to turn this moment into a real gameplay mechanic and a permanent progression system. The idea: Each train car would gradually be painted over the course of gameplay. At first, the car would be completely clean, and after each run, completing missions, or performing other in-game activities, more parts of the graffiti would appear. It would feel as if the player manages to add a little more to the artwork before having to run away from the guard again. Once the graffiti on one car is finished, a new clean car becomes available. After completing each train car, the player could choose which graffiti design they want to create next. This would give players more freedom and make the experience feel more personal. It would also be great to make the train a permanent feature of the main menu: * The train would serve as a collection of the player’s achievements. * Players could walk alongside it and admire all the graffiti they have completed. * Tapping on a train car could display information such as which character painted it, when it was completed, and how many runs it took to finish. * Some train cars could be rare, seasonal, or themed. Another idea would be to add a separate special train dedicated to Secret Stars. It could only be unlocked by collecting Secret Stars, making exploration even more rewarding and giving collectors a meaningful long-term goal. In my opinion, this system would turn graffiti from a simple pre-run animation into a meaningful part of the player’s progression. Over time, every player would have their own unique train that reflects their journey and achievements in the game. Thank you for creating such a wonderful game! P.S. The game is fine, the gameplay, visuals, power ups all keeps me pretty entertained. Recently,I’ve been having a problem where I can’t watch ads to gain rewards. And actually ads don’t work in general. I would usually be fine with this, but it keeps me from getting certain rewards. The game keeps asking for my age after I’ve already put it in. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the ad problem, but it’s pretty annoying. Also, can there be a faster way to get board credits?

Nothing is better about this than the first game. All of the skins are simply re-colors, so there's no sense of satisfaction in unlocking them. Progression is significantly slower. The UI is considerably worse than the original. I also encountered a few bugs just on my first run. If the customization was actually interesting I would consider playing this game.
