Not quite good yet

It works for what it is but there are too many ads. I understand putting ads as a consequence for making the wrong move or for using up all your mistake allowances, but I will often times get back to back ads for making the right move or an “impressive” move. Sometimes every time I make the right move I will get multiple 20+ sec long ads. It’s honestly disruptive to the game. The 1.8M downloads is deceiving.

Inconvenient ads
The sudoku is fine, nice and basic. But the ads will occasionally pop up in the middle of a game, and there’s not always a way to exit the ad so that’s it for that game. Much rather have a little banner ad or something that doesnt kill the game and its flow

Getting worse
This used to be my go to sudoku app but the ads are out of control now. At first it was an ad before and after a game which was fine, then they started happening when I would close a number out, that was annoying. Now they just pop up at random in addition to those other times. So many ads that you can’t focus on the game, no longer fun. Not I’m getting 10+ ads a game. I held out as long as I could but I can’t deal with it anymore. Will be a bummer to lose my over a year daily streak but it’s not worth the ads.

I love this game
I may not be a grandma 🙄, but I used to stay up until 3 am scrolling nonstop! My grades started slipping because I’d fall asleep in class, and my second-period teachers weren’t too happy about it—so I kept failing his class. I never got to do the fun stuff because you needed at least a C, but then I got this game that I play before bed. Now my grades are improving, my brain feels relaxed, and it’s the perfect way to pass the time! Middle schooler approved 👍

SO many Ads
I understand that apps need to make money, but the number of ads they have now is beyond ridiculous. I wouldn't like it, but I could understand having an ad after each level. However, if you're getting multiple ads in a single game, which is timed, that seems both unfair and obnoxiously excessive.

As I said, I’d give it a 5, but too many unwanted ads. If you make a mistake and run out of lives you watch an ad. Okay, I accept that, but then I’m in the middle of a game and for NO REASON, a random ad pops up that I’m FORCED to watch in order to get back to my game. And it seems the longer you play, the MORE these random ads attack you! Sorry, but that’s NOT ok during game play!!!! I’m getting frustrated and may have to delete this app soon if it gets worse.

Un-skippable hand holding tutorial really needs to go
I made the mistake of accidentally clicking that I wasn’t familiar with the game and got forced into an unskippable tutorial on how to play, and after multiple attempts to reset it and skip the tutorial, I just ultimately deleted the app. Listen, I love the idea of having tutorials and explaining to people how to play, I’m sure that’s useful for many people! But for the sanity of absolutely everyone who either knows how to play the game and clicked the wrong thing or those who just want to learn by doing not by being told, the tutorial needs to not be mandatory!

Used to be good
This was the best sudoku app, but it has become steadily worse. It is now plagued by adds. It used to be that you’d watch an add before or after a puzzle. Now they interrupt you multiple times while solving a puzzle. You can play offline with no adds but most events and tournaments require you to be online. The final straw for me was they deleted the ability to play the daily puzzle for previous years. I had been working towards completing all the daily puzzles and the ability to do that was removed without warning. Look for another sudoku app this one is not worth your time.

Great daily sudoku!
I love this sudoku app! I’ve recommended it to many friends! I’ve been playing this sudoku app for years, and really enjoy the events and daily puzzles. Each of the daily challenges are a random difficulty and I really like that concept. The daily challenges are probably my favorite part. The one thing I wish they would change back is the ability to do daily puzzles from previous years. I don’t know if that’s a big ask or not, but honestly I spent a lot of time trying to go back and get the trophies since you can also play in airplane mode.
I would spend a lot more time playing if I could go back to those previous years.

This use to be a great game.
The game itself is still awesome, but the adds are so often it offsets any good of the game. They started out with just one add between games. Then it went to one at the beginning and one at the end. Now it’s about every 30 seconds. I just played a game that mage me watch 6 add in a 2 minute game.

Great Japanese Mind & Puzzle Game

Removed autocomplete
I really like this app! The layout is clean and easy to play. I pay for the ad free version and it feels worth it. I’m bummed the autocomplete feature disappeared — it was nice when the last number got filled in for me as it sped up the obvious resolution at the end of the game. Please bring that back! I would love fewer random challenges too; I just want to play sudoku!

More ads than before
I have been playing this app for a few years now and tolerated the intermittent ads because they were spaced well enough apart and didn’t fully interrupt the experience. But in the last few months, it seems the company has increased the frequency of ad interruptions, killing the game experience completely. Of course one might say that I should pay to eliminate the ads entirely—but we all already pay because these apps collect, share and sell our data to brokers and other third parties. They are essentially farming us. Perhaps I would be *slightly* less annoyed by this if the ad interruptions weren’t so ridiculously frequent. What a turn off. But I hope this trend starts to annoy the average person just enough that they wake up and begin to see these apps as merely a ruse to distract while they take your data.

I love playing sudoku’s but the ads are out of control. There’s an ad when you start a new puzzle, an ad every few numbers you solve, and an ad after you finish the puzzle. In a 4 minute time frame to do a puzzle, I got 4 ads. Averaging and ad a minute. I’m spending more time sitting in ads than I am actually playing the puzzle and it makes me hate it. I get like an ad at like the start OR end of the puzzle but multiple throughout the game is ridiculous.

decent sudoku app ruined by AGGRESSIVE ads
loved this app when it was just sudoku puzzles. i open it up after a few months and there’s animations. no big deal, i turn them off. some animations cannot be turned off. annoying. i play a few games and there’s ads in between games that autoplay audio. also annoying. third game in and now it’s showing annoying ai-generated looking animated emojis telling me GOOD JOB! or PERFECT! or whatever and after one of those emojis pops up i get another minute long ad for a genAI animated game i’m not interested in playing. the ad cannot be closed without opening up the app store . this happens at least 3 times in one game. how is a diva supposed to relax in these circumstances. sudoku.com app hereby banished from my phone

Why the feature change?
I’m a daily player and it seems that they removed the Autocomplete feature that automatically filled in the last remaining spot of a row, column, or block with the final missing number. That last spot isn’t a mystery so that autocomplete was a helpful convenience that I now miss.

Downhill slide continues
The adds continue to increase. Between games would be one thing; even an occasional one during a game would be understandable. But 4 adds in a one minute game is too much. Lot of things that I don’t rlly like and don’t make sense
Why the FLIP did the age rating change, I can’t play it anymore. Also, why is there so many adds like, I can even go 2 minutes before getting an add. And why do you have to do 10 (or something like that) of the 2ed hardest levels to get to even unlock the hardest. I would deleat this bc now it’s just a waste of space. But I can’t. Don’t recommend.
Also, how is SUDOKU 13+, there is no things that it would make it 13+ except for like crashing out bc you lost the 50/50s 3 times in a row or whatnot. It’s just a puzzle game that is fun to play
ANOTHER thing, why is there so many flipin events. I just wanna play classic sudoku, not 10000 events that are sudoku type but not focused on just casually playing sudoku. sudoku.com please change it. I don’t care if it takes 10 days or 10 months to make a new event or an update, I just want the events to feel special and worth it to do and the updates felt like they are worked on and not like they put this together in 1 or 2 weeks. For example, my current favorite game took 6 months to release a update, but it is 10/10 quality. Just try to space out the updates and make them more worth it. (you can shove out a update if something rlly bad happens like if the thing can’t open bc of a iOS update oc)(Btw, if you don’t have a level of difficulty unlocked, with some events, you can just go to that and skip doing 10 ez puzzles)
ANOTHER THING, this is a puzzle game, why when I finish a puzzle, I get flashed by 20 things I have no idea what they are. It’s a puzzle game, nothing more, nothing less.

Like I kind of understand when you run out of hints and sometimes when you complete the puzzle, but when you get all of 1 number or somethin, you get a 3 MINUTE UNSKIPABLE ROYAL KINGDOM AD. Not going to lie, I could of completed a box or row or column or whatever by the time the ad was gone. Ik that free games need/like ads because it gives you money to update the game and just for a general income, but please keep the ads to a minimum.
(Also, where is dark mode, I don’t wanna be flashbanged every time I open the app)
(And can you make a thing that says the different strategies for finding the numbers, the hints to a mid job, but it would be nice to have a optional page that tells you and gives you examples)
(Also, did you just set up a auto send system or copy and paste to “assure people that adds are mandatory for a free game” and “we are trying to enhance the experience” or are all of them hand or typed?)
Wouldn’t recommend, just get the physical copy’s of the game at this point.

Ads getting worse every day
I’ve been playing for years and I think I just played my last game on this app. The ads won’t even allow me to close them now. I have to close out the app entirely and restart it otherwise I’m stuck on an ad screen. Terrible.

I’ve downloaded this in July 2025 and forgot about it. Two months ago I found this and started playing and now I feel smarter and this game is awesome like I completed a Master game in 4:37 mins. Great App would recommend.
