I am a Fancy pants fan and i would really love an update. I 100%’d this game and the other one and i believe i have seen enough reviews that would agree that we need an update. This is an amazing game!!!!!!!
So, I downloaded this game about 2 years ago and I had so much fun playing it. I’m a hardcore fan of this entire series, and this is the best game in it. If you like platforming games, sonic, Metroidvanias, or Mario, than you’ll have a blast. This is a very fancy game and 10000% worth your money. I am probably carried by nostalgia because I grew up with these games, but still get it now.

Where is the save button?

This is one of the most fun games I have ever had on my iPad please make a super fancy pants edvencher 2 I’m only 8 so I’m sorry if I spell stuff wrong. Ok I’m ten now and I still love this game but I have one problem. The controls. My only problem with the controls is that they keep shifting from place to place thus making me miss the buttons when I’m trying to run or jump or do anything I can’t do that because the controls have warped into the shadow realm. Please make it so the controls aren’t so shifty

I think it is absolutely worth the money I don’t know where the people who are saying that the controls are bad are coming from because this game is a masterpiece controls great everything great my only complaint is that you have to press the arrow to get inside doors but I think you should just be able to press the arrow that makes you go down like the free one that’s about the little sister getting kidnapped by pirates

Minor issues hold back what is otherwise a solid platforming experience.
I’m going to be brief. I loved the first two worlds as a child and 100%ed world 3 a while back (I just came back from 100%ing this one, too!) and I feel that this game is a great step forward which makes me excited for the future of this series. However, there are a few minor issues I would like to note:
1. The controls are still a little rough around the edges.
I saw some earlier reviews noting the small buttons and greatly appreciate the option to enlarge them, but the fix wasn’t perfect in my opinion. The dynamic controls were difficult to work with, and made the control scheme feel incredibly cluttered.
I personally would have preferred to be able to lock my controls in place, and recommend adding it as a separate option in the settings.
2. Jumping after an inkdash is very frustrating.
This is a minor mechanic in this game, so it doesn’t really hurt the experience too much, but I’m still putting this here in case it becomes more important in world 5. The main issue is that in the challenge room dedicated to it, I’d struggle to land the jump because a single bullet would shoot out of my pen and kill the enemy I was trying to jump off of.
To fix this, I’d recommend adding a short windup period on the pen’s autofire to avoid this, and potentially extending the timing window a bit as well. The dynamic controller made this more annoying than it would’ve been alone, so this shouldn’t really take too much to fix.
3. Some minor bugs in the last two levels.
I noticed some frame dropping on on Volcano Approach, and also experienced a strange bug where fancy pants man’s collision detection somehow desynced with his sprite. I think the frame drops had to do with the rotating wheel rocks, and the desync happened right after I jumped on a spring to a different layer.
I also had the final level bug out in such a way that the cutscene before the final boss bugged out and gave me an error report. Your guess is as good as mine on that one, so... good luck?
2. The arcade machines in the bathtub tower cause severe frame drops when navigating the menus, though the levels themselves are fine.
That’s everything off the top of my head, really. Well done, and I’ll see you in world 5!

this game is awesome!
i have always been a fan of fancy pants playing it on flash game websites when i was younger... and this game gives me a huge nostalgic feeling! but may i suggest something? i think you should be able to upgrade ink capacity with ice cream as well as health and strength. the ink always runs out fast and the game gets really hard when you cant ink dash.

I absolutely LOVE this game! Few suggestions though...
I have always loved Fancy Pants Man ever since I found it on FRIV4School years ago. My favorite sequel is of course this one tied with World 3. One thing I want to complain about though is whenever I try to press the up and ink button to ink board, I press the attack button, instead. This has cost me a lot of lives in the mini games. Also, when is the next game coming out? The wait is KILLING me!!

Amazing game, but I have a question.
I 100% back (and beat?) this game but there seems to be 29 slots for hats when I’ve only ever been able to get 28. Every playthrough I’ve done I haven’t come across that last 29th hat. Even in World 1 Remix. It’s right between the ninja and triceratops hat. If someone could please help me out with that, that would be awesome. Thank you.

Keeps Freezing

Great memories
I absolutely love this game. I remember coming home from school and playing these games on my dads laptop when I was younger. Whenever I am at home and I need to use up some time, I play this game. The only problem I have is the controls are a bit glitchy right now. Whenever I’m running in the game, the buttons sometimes “stick” and I can’t get them to reset. Once again that’s my only complaint is the controls aren’t kind sometimes.

MY FAVORITE GAME EVER!
I had previously given this game 1 star because the controls got stuck the first 3 times I opened the app and tried to play for 3 minutes. Somehow that glitch just disappeared after closing and reopening the app 3 or 4 times. Then I played for real and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! This should win awards! So fun! Wish it had more levels but says to be continued! I can’t wait for more!! Seriously CANNOT WAIT! In the mean time I’m on a mission to find all hats and pants!! But PLEASE continue to develope this game! It’s fantastic!

Sticky controls and Button glitches
Sigh... I own an iPhone XR and that’s where I play SPFA on but apparently the controls and touchscreen buttons seem to be sticky and glitchy lately, and that’s a problem that I’ve been having lately, whenever I let go of one of the movement buttons: it stays in that direction as it won’t shrink back to normal and the titular character I play as won’t stop moving in that same direction when I’m not moving him anymore, I try to press the pause button on top but it won’t respond and neither will the rest of the other buttons will respond whenever the movement buttons I use get stuck going left or stuck going right, and I have to swipe off the game and return to my home screen and restart the game from there, so will you please fix this that game and put an end to those sticky controls and glitchy buttons situation already, it would be a really big help.

I tried hard to love this game, but.....
I do like this game but unfortunately the game is unplayable. My experience was about every stage of play was crash at least once. I buy a game like this to relax and have fun, which if the game worked this would be it. One update and if it happens after that, it will be deleted. The best platformer on the iPhone
This is a fantastic game! Every element is well designed, it’s smooth and entertaining, and challenging enough without being TOO tough.
Controls take a bit of practice but once you get the hang of it, it’s a lot of fun!
Thanks to the developer for fixing the Remix crashes, this is now a solid five star review. Yay!

When will Part 2 come out? I can’t wait! (Small Spoilers and major glitches that need to be fixed)
Fancy Pants has been with me since I was 5 years old. I loved every single of each game, especially the new one. The design and graphics are perfect, and the controls are easy to master. I can’t wait until the second part comes out, and I want to know if Ink Pants (that is what I call the last boss) will be a part of the next part. However, there are some glitches that need to be fixed, starting with the first boss fight.
When you defeat the giant ink monster, Fancy Pants puts his pen in the ink spout, and shoots out of the cave. A couple seconds after that cutscene, the game crashed and kicked me out of the game, forcing me to do the boss fight all over again. To some people, this might have not happened, but it did happen to me.
Second, World 1 Remix, Broken Controls. If you kick the bowling ball, it will make a hole in the wall and roll into a crack to a secret place. If you go near the place where the bowling ball broke the wall, your controls will go crazy. If you press any button if will force you to move left. This glitch won’t work if you don’t kick the bowling ball.
Third, World 1 Remix, Broken Door. In Level 2, there is a door next to the curve. When I tried to go in, the game crashed and kicked me out. This happened to me sometimes, but when I tried to go the door again, but it would still crash and kick me. I tried to go to the door over and over again until I gave up and realized there was no way I could collect all the hats and pants and finish the game 100%.
Fourth, World 1 Remix again. There is no way you can pass Level 3. I have tried to go to the Angry Penguin hole or go the springboard and jump out of the level, and the game crashes and kicks me. I would like to find out if I would have a boss fight with the creator, or the penguin just like in the previous game.
These all the major glitches that I wish could be fixed. If the developer could fix these glitches and then let me know, then many other players, including me, could continue their journey. Be fast, be fancy!

I Love This Game!!! But There is A Bug
This game is my favorite game of all time! It’s really action packed and is so smooth when timing attacks and jumps right. However there is a bug I’d like to report. In the world 1 remix when I kick the bowling ball and try to slide in the crack, my controls go bizarre. I ink dash instead of sliding/rolling through the crack. This only happens near the crack. When I didn’t kick the ball there was no problem with the controls. Also when I enter a door in world 1 my game crashes sending me to the home screen. Hopefully you see this and fix this.(Played on iOS)
