I downloaded this game a couple of years ago, and I recently just played part one, two, and three again! This is literally one of the best games I’ve ever played. More, please!

I remember playing chapter 1 as a younger kid. I had remembered it recently and just had to play it. Brought back good memory’s. Thank you
- THEHURRICANE8181 · v3.6.0
awesome game! cant wait to play it again
- Ddaviefl · v3.6.0
This is really the best point and click I’ve ever had the pleasure to play, and over the years I’ve played them all. The story is great and the voice acting is movie quality, but the music is the best thing about it. It’s 12+ years old now and still bowls every other pnc game out of the water. I wish these developers would make more!
- CDog1978 · v3.00
I am thorough impressed at the amount of effort and creativity put into this game. It was on my wishlist for years and I regret not playing it sooner. There needs to be more games like this!!
- Kiwi75579890 · v3.00
Incredible game. So fun! So much love went into this… It brought me back to Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, any of the Kings Quest Games and Indiana Jones. It belongs among the greats! Also the voices and soundtrack… A+
- ChristophPM · v3.00
Hands down, THE best game I have ever played! Incredible on so many levels! The music, art, acting, character development, script… mesmerizing!
- TarHeels93 · v3.00
The game is literally art. With a sense of humor. Developers, artists, music, actors, just wow. I loved reading behind the scenes. Mad props people!
- Apat77 · v3.00
When I was a child I played every adventure game I could get my hands on as I tried to recapture the magic I felt when I first played Monkey Island. While I’ve enjoyed many, none have lived up to that experience. I started to believe it was just a nostalgic reverence that made the experience more special than it really was. Now, at age 38, just occasionally playing escape the room games on my iPhone, I stumbled on “The Journey Down” and WOW! It has all the magic you could possibly desire in a point-and-click adventure game. And it hurts me, but I’m gonna day it.....I... I.... I think it’s better than Monkey Island!! I’m so depressed that I finished the game now. I’ll probably wait a year and replay it again!

I never write reviews, but I just had to call out Skygoblin for making a fantastic collection of games with The Journey Down. It’s rare to see developers give so much care and attention to a genre like point & click adventures these days. If you liked LucasArts style adventure games like Monkey Island, Full Throttle, and Grim Fandango you’ll love this game. Fantastic story, art, sound, and writing! Just buy it.

I don’t have words to tell the guys that are responsible for this wonderful game how much i enjoyed the result of their efforts. Where to start, the graphics? The music? The whole experience was amazing. Thank you guys for the great game you made. I, and i am sure countless other players are looking forward to more games from the team that made the Journey Down.

I stumbled upon this series from a related search and, after giving Chapter One a shot, I was immediately hooked and bought Chapter Two & Three (I can't imagine how hard it was for the longtime fans who had to endure the wait between each game's release). The graphics, the voice acting and the music are a cut above nearly all other iOS games I've played; the story is imaginative and captivating; and the characters are truly endearing. The third chapter, like the two before it, brims with heart and soul from start to finish, which is undoubtedly a reflection of the brilliant people who made it a reality. Bravo!
- Brodees · v3.00
I just finished playing the long-awaited chapter 3 of Journey Down. Bravo, bravo, bravo! I know the boys’ adventure has ended, but I’m really hoping for a sequel. Great job, great game, and thank you!

lack of controls, stuck in a loop, got a cactus, but that’s it.

This was so worth the 7 dollars it’s was amazing all of the journey downs are amazing
- Mrpcpa · v3.00
If you’re a fan of classic point and click games like Monkey Island and dig Afro-Caribbean culture you’ll LOVE The Journey Down. The characters are well written, the environments are rich and the original music is incredible. The main character Bwana feels like an endearingly goofy old friend and the storyline kept me engaged the whole time. I didn’t want the game to end! It truly is a one of a kind and you can tell the developers put so much work into it. I hope this game continues to be passed on for years because it’s a real gem.
- HoneyChildintheCity · v3.00
I love this game, but am navigating by the text only as I can’t get the sound to play. The “settings” field is no help. Any advice on how to get the sound going on my iPad mini? If I had sound I’d rate this 5 of 5.
- Goodontheroad · v3.00
This is point and click adventure gaming at its absolute highest peak and this was the best of the entire series. The visuals, puzzles, and soundtrack were all top notch and had this extra fun aspect about them that put me in a great mood. Way to go out on a bang! I’m sad it’s over but I hope this company keeps their games going in this same direction. Well done.
- miggs80 · v3.00
Fantastic series!! Very much worth playing, it should have been 5 starts, except that it was a very short chapter. I was expecting more scenes and puzzles to solve. Other than that, great work!
- Cantbelive · v3.00
All 3 games in the series are fun to play. You have to play them in order as it’s a continuing story. The music, sounds and voice overs are great with fun characters and great accents. Believe me “Mon” when I tell you, A great value for the money. The third game had easier puzzles but they were fun and it was a little chatty at times. The scenes were drawn well with good design. I had zero issues on my iPhone 6s and the game saves automatically and does a good job of it. I still saved at times manually for good measure.
- Ncadmin · v3.00
I don’t normally write reviews... but I had to say that this is the BEST of the BEST of the BEST of the BEST games you can play!!! Just start playing and I guarantee you will devour all three of them and won’t be able to stop playing. I was so sad when it was over because I didn’t want the journey to end! It’s definitely a cliffhanger.
- elisat13 · v3.00
Epic in every way! You won’t be disappointed. Great story, mind blowing graphics and the music is beyond!!!
- Corngood · v3.00
Without spoiling anything, lemme just say that how everything at the end wraps up nicely is just great! The music fits the dismal, hopeful theme the game has, and it’s just as funny as the other two games. Only problem is this game was much easier than the previous two, but that doesn’t matter much because of how much love was put into this game.
- I liek to · v3.00
The great games have a plot that crosses the chapters. Add in “personality” - that hard to define combination of backstory, characters, and well a bit of crazy. A chunk of dystopia that connects all too well to today’s newsfeed while flying in its own orbit. C’mon mon, what are ya waitin’ for?
- xmarc999 · v3.00
Great game for adventure lovers!
- Luna920 · v3.00
Even better than the first two chapters. Excellent voice overs, great story line, terrific art, and unique puzzles. Very sad I finished it. One of my all time favorites.
- Kathykx3 · v3.00
Thank you all for sharing the journey.
- Prayerfully · v3.00
I really enjoy these games. The only change I would make is to be able to adjust the music volume because it was very loud at times but I still wanted to hear the dialogue.
- Coffeejunkie79 · v3.00
But it was a great ride. I played the first two games on Steam & rebought them here to play the Third Chapter. I actually may have enjoyed this iOS experience better. I agree with those who said the Third Chapter was shorter, but man, were the graphics amazing. The soundtrack was phenomenal. Overall, a beautifully crafted a game. *SPOILER* I do wish that Kaonandodo had more of a role. I liked his “No lady, this is your adventure” attitude but wish we got to know him a little more than just the guy who was asleep or rafted Lina around.
- dancedani · v3.00
Thank you Developers for investing so much time and energy into making the Journey down! Your efforts have paid off and just wanted to let y'all know what a huge fan I am and how grateful I am that there are people like y'all putting out games of this sort! Love love love all chapters of the Journey Down! Worth the wait! Thanks guys. Soundtrack to game is truly amazing as well! Keep making games and I will gladly keep buying them! ❤️❤️❤️
- Lolo87kiddo · v3.00
Love the series and characters. But this past episode just isn’t as challenging as the first two. Good finale though.
- parrotlt · v3.00
The first two games were very enjoyable, with fun puzzles and high production values. The third installment keeps up the good work. Recommended to anyone who enjoys classic adventure games.
- Chuck Noble · v3.00
This is one of (if not the) best games ever!! I loved every minute! And the ending was amazing!!! Good job sky goblins!!! 😁
- Mamibunni · v3.00
Journey Down is one of the best point and click series ever. Period. However, this last chapter is a little shorter and a little easier than expected. It falls short with respect to the second chapter. Many of the puzzles are obvious, and the time actually played is much shorter than the previous episode. Nevertheless, a pleasant finale to a wonderful series.
- Pablof74 · v3.00
The game was alright. The puzzles were easy to solve. The graphics and the atmosphere were really nice. However, the ending was disappointing. It was too abrupt. SPOILER ALERT! After all that trouble to get the horn, and then the hero just snatched the villain, and THE END! Why? The hero was defeated in the past. Shouldn't the protagonists help the hero defeat the villain? Maybe it was time and/or budget, but I feel the game could have been developed more, to make it more complete. The game moved too fast in each location, especially the part where Bwana and Kito escaped from Underland. Also, why did we have to get the license plate?
- Grim Fandango fan · v3.00
It's quite easy to tell this finale and the preceding episodes where truly a labor of love. The art, music and detail in this series are excellent. I started playing this series when the original was released and have to wait the years between the following chapters; while it was frustrating it was worth the wait for a quality product. If I have any complaints at all it would be the final chapter may have been a little too easy but that also just might be me wanting it to last longer. Overall it's about +~-8 hours of gameplay so for the price you get your money's worth and a whole lot more. I can not recommend this series enough if you enjoy adventure type games, story telling, immersive art and music or just high quality work in general. Thanks again to those involved and hopefully there will be more in the future.
- Bmw19812003 · v3.00
I found this to be the easiest to complete, and finished in a couple of hours. Not much challenge to the puzzles. Still a well polished game though.
- Kabloooom · v3.00
congratulations for who made this game , excellent
- leandroh1 · v3.00
I thought it was a great game, but did not live up to the first two chapters. The puzzles were all pretty linear, and much easier than those in the first two. That being said the game offers a good resolution to the story that was developed in the first two games.
- mfholbac · v3.00
Having played chapters 1 and 2, this IS a fitting finale. This was a longer game than the second installment and therefore the price is justified by the content/story line, art and music. I played it in one day in various sittings; took about 8 hours. Only a few tough spots, but got through by rechecking scenes that had new options after I had accomplished certain objectives. I would suggest that you DO play all three chapters in order to make the story line coherent, but you could just pick up this game and play as is. But don't cheat yourself, play all 3 in order! I am glad SkyGoblin stuck around for the 10 years to complete the story arc.
- Minbari Ice · v3.00
This is a must buy One thing I want to mention since you’ve probably played episodes 1-2 already so you know what awesomeness you are already in for, but it needs to be noted that the soundtrack for this episode was pushed to a WHOLE different level; it’s infused with reggae, jazz, rock n roll, jam rock and epic booming guitar....one of the best soundtracks in a game, imo. And it fits so perfectly with every scene. Cmon, apple...give this game a bigger push in the App Store...this game deserves to reach a larger audience it was so well crafted.
- Dubs1 · v3.00
Been waiting a long time for the final chapter this is really a great game only wish you could turn off the music. If you haven't play episode one and two you should
