poor game play. the controls are clunky and counterintuitive. the u-arrow is sometimes for turning around, and sometimes for undo. the downward arrow is also quite confusing.

This game just does not look right on the mobile devices. First, it automatically begins in portrait mode, which makes a game of this type look odd. Then the in game control is just not meant to be using the touch screen. I'm sure it was a good one played on PC, but tried force it onto mobile was the same as forcing a square peg into a round hole, it just was not meant to be. Unless you get a bigger external screen and a mouse, only then this game will have some possibilities.

Immersive, unique, intelligent game unlike any other I've seen. I first bought this on CD in the '90s, and could lose myself for hours playing on computer. When I saw it was available for Android, buying it was a no-brainer. It's as magnificent and engrossing as I remember, though personally I prefer playing on computers with a large monitor and a Trackman trackball. If you're looking for a truly unique, story-driven game, this could be it.

A decent port, but unfortunately not without some game-breaking errors. I ran into an issue at some point where either the egg or the briefcase disappeared without a trace and were nowhere to be found on the train, and so it was impossible to continue past Vienna. I was able to rewind the game to a point before either object disappeared and was able to continue, thankfully. However, the whistle seems to be completely inoperable, which means the game simply can not be completed.

Exactly like the original pc/mac game! For those complaining about slow screen rate... that's the style of the original game. It was an intentional move by the developers along with the art deco style.

Please can someone on the team tell me how I can get a refund. I like the game, and I'm not sure if it's the device I'm playing on, but it's slow and the screen keeps going black. I've tried rewinding to a previous save point but the screen is still black. I've restarted my phone and the app with no joy. It's difficult to understand the controls also ie. Giving someone an object out of your inventory. Shame because I did enjoy the game.

Real time adventure set on the eve of WWI on the Orient Express. NPCs have their own agendas and you will miss out if you do not engage them in time. An arcade sequence with Serb terrorists is frustrating at first but with practice winnable. French people speak in French, Russians in Russian. Very immersive and highly recommended.

This is a great game and well worth money. You do have to be patient and figure out the right course of action in the right amount of time, if you fail restart the part and do it differently. Tbe controls can be a little finicky but that's the only draw back.

Do not buy. A waste of money. is confusing and does not have a logical progression like actual good mystery games. Just want you to wander the train (whose layout is confusing) to try to stumble onto something, but the police get you before you accomplish anything.

All around this game is perhaps one of the finest games I've played in my life. The art style may seem unappealing but I assure you it fits the game like a glove. The writing is the star here, as the game distilled to its basic essence is about the vast array of characters aboard the train. There are many details and conversations to find and consume for the rich detail they give to the setting that is the Orient Express. Every action in this game has purpose, contact, and consequences, and the game effortlessly creates a simultaneous tension and a ticking time bomb (literally) sensation to put you on the edge of your seat. The game mechanic that allows you to go back and replay scenarios is also a marvelous touch as it allows you to lessen the impact of the timeliness of your actions in case you missed an important exchange, or if you want to soak up details that add worlds of character to the people aboard the train. This is one of the top echelon of games that doesn't sacrifice gameplay quality for story, but rather turns the story into quality gameplay. You become invested and legitimately concerned for characters to the point that the power of the ending is earned and not cheapened by contrivances or weak character writing. Overall a 5-star experience, no frills or gimmicks to be found, only top-tier storytelling in the video game format.

It's very expensive for what it is. The concept is good but the game play is frustrating until u learn the layout of the train! .. This game would be so much better if u cut out the frustrating challenge of overcoming disorientation as u make your way around the train. If you included a map that showed all cabin numbers it might work better ...also why is their a landscape view choice if it makes no differences to the view? 4 stars for story and character design. Please consider suggested changes.
