I’d previously played this on arcade, and loved the game. I bought it to replay, and the application crashes on launch >75% of the time. Even if I made it to the load screen, it crashes >50% of the time at this stage. Deeply frustrating.

Having playing the Pathless on Apple Arcade, I dont understand the contention about the paid version being different. It feels, looks and plays the same! I do with there was an option to disable the autorun, as it gets cumbersome with accidental hits, and messes up a bit. Otherwise, Im enjoying my third playthrough. This is the closest we have to Ico or SotC, and Id love to see more! What I would really like to see is a port of Ico and SotC, and I think this company could pull it off. They have the gameplay and mechanics down, and all three share similarities in simplicity and mechanics. While its an odd request, I would love to see a Pathless Sequel (or another type), or this studio remake and port Ico and SotC onto mobile!

As nice as this app looks it crashes frequently on an M4 iPad Pro running iOS 18.3

I LOVED the Apple Arcade version it was literally the only reason I had Apple Arcade subscription and when they took it off I was so sad. So when I bought here I was expecting the same experience maybe something better since it was more expensive. But nope. The graphics worse (which is a shame cause the game is gorgeous) there are severe glitches, and delays that set you back in trying to achieve goals. Needless to say I definitely regret buying the game and don't recommend you buy it until they fix these things or the price comes down.

Buy it on PC or a console. iOS version gives you no control over graphic settings, fps, motion blur, or HDR. I’d love to continue to support this game but have to refund it. 30fps, no res, and extreme motion blur on new hardware is not acceptable.

This game is quite simply one of my favorite games. It allows you to explore at your own pace, and despite having no combat and only a handful of mechanics (auto-aiming bow, flying on and petting your eagle), it manages to stay fresh the whole time. I was sad to see it leave Apple Arcade and I’m so glad it’s back now. Can’t recommend it enough.

I’ve heard good things about this game, but I can’t confirm or contradict any of them because the game runs so poorly on my older phone that it’s nearly unplayable. The frame rate is nightmarishly poor, and, to my knowledge, there are no in-game options to adjust the game’s performance. Truly unfortunate. This game should not be listed as compatible with my iPhone 8.
