I heard this game was really great and decided to play for myself. the remembered what the negative reviews said about the game. turns out they weren't wrong. after playing this for a month it's an extremely beyond long grind. it's been a month and I finally just unlocked the lab. and of course the lab cost the same currency that it cost to get yourself upgrades. making the grind for currency even more frustrating. an offer very little improvement such as 0.01% more coins. uninstalled

the game gets boring quick. gems are pure greed bait to milk you dry. one quest for 1 gem while everything costs 100+ gems and you wait two hours for the next. ads offer half a minute of watching for 5 gems like that’s generous. worst free-to-play experience ever. regret the tenner hard. die, get coins, upgrades do almost nothing, die again. pure repetitive slog with the tiniest progress while it keeps begging for more money. can only make progress if you spend your life savings on it.

I enjoy this game a lot, but as time goes on the flaws become more and more obvious. The game requires you to ha ve the game open for progress, QOL features are locked behind endgame PVP, and the difference between f2p players and spenders continues to climb with each update. Unless you have a second phone and are willing to spend money I don't recomend this game. Fortunatly, the devs have been improving the game with a major tournament fix resently. Been playing this game for a while now, and I have to say the greed from this developer is astounding. The game has a huge pay to win mechanic that as long as you have the all mighty credit card you can rush through the game. Every single update over the last year has been made to push out F2P aspects. Lowering gem rates, lowering tournament prizes, and throwing out 100 dollar packages for gacha systems. I find it hard to recommend this level of greed. 100 dollars doesn't even get you far. GREED

Progress is slow, but that's the whole point. Genuinely optional ads and purchases; playing for free is feasible if you are patient. Extreme grind, but you always feel like you can make gradual progress. You definitely want to join a guild, but you'll need to be advanced enough to make consistent contributions. Community is supportive. You'll find you want to be letting this run mostly unattended on a PC emulator while you get on with other stuff; runs of less than a few hours are pointless.

much much much too overhyped, progression is so terrible I had it for like a month and played every night before bed per my routine and I made zero progress. if you want to get far you NEED to pay. either watch countless videos for slight progress or pay crazy prices for more progress but still little. so lame because its a great premise. should not be labeled idle because being away does nothing. bad experience bad game and the ads are so weird

ive been playing for about a year now. the current state of the game is fun. however when the game is advertised as "idle" i was curious and little disappointed at the lack of "idleness". especially in the beggining when you die after a couple waves. and have to constantly reset. as the game goes on the power creep goes beyond easily comprehendble numbers. its not easy on smart phones where the content creators advertise that you play with cloud gaming for better results to not drop frames.

You have to actively sit there and upgrade manually each run, and restart a run manually, too. The game is good, but the develper is an absolute greedy jerk with the amount of money you need to put in order to make meaningful progress. You can easily put 5k USD and be nowhere near the end of the game. Also, there is nothing IDLE in this game except the research lab. Overall, it is a good idea and game, but there is an enormous PAY WALL that you need to overcome.

it's a very good game, even after being a user for t years I would still say it is very good, there is no intrusive ads in anyway whatsoever, any reviews that claim there are any intrusive ads throughout the game are completely untrue as the only ads are ones that you would click on. now the game in general is hard at the start, sometimes even frustrating, but it doesn't seem like your ever hitting your head into a wall, it always feels like your making progress through the game.

I'm very much in love with The Tower, that said there is a niche that this game fills that not every gamer is into: although it's one of the aspects I enjoy most. The progress is slow, and I mean slow. This game has a really cool concept and is kinda fun to play! But when you want to buy upgrades you notice the problem you need to pay a total of 50 dollars otherwise your coin gain is 1/6 of what it should be. its also super agreesive with the notifications as any time I close the app I will get a notification due to not filling the lab as I don't have the coins to fill it. it also didn't work while offline which was one of the main reasons I installed it.
