Can't experience playing with others cuz no one seems to be online. I can only play with AI. Don't know if I can invite friends to play together. It's pretty good as an offline game, but please include the expansion!

Since the last update there is a bug in the offline pass&play mode when selecting the number of travelers and AI opponents. Edit 24.10.2025: After the latest update, pass&play mode is fixed and can be played again! Thank you very much :)

I've loved this app version but version 1.20.4 just broke pass and play mode. It inverts the human/AI selection and it never loads into the game. Please fix developers. I'm running an S23+.

Broken. Amazing game I've enjoyed for a long time, but the latest version is unplayable on pass and play. Dev was made aware some time ago but still broken. It's easily a 5 start game when it works.

I played this version of Tokaido and while not great, I would say it is passable. I just have a number of feedback points -We should have a hard exit button. Seems I cannot exit this game for some reason - Scoring rules need to be a popup tab for reminders to new players -Animation of walking to location should be sped up.

Recent update cannot improve as trophies dont update and cannot unlock any or create an account. Such a shame.

They broke it. I have been playing for years against AI without any issues. Last "fix" in October broke it. Now it's choppy and freezes my whole phone. It's basically unusable now. I don't recommend.unless they fix the issue.

Apparently an update chages a setting which causes a lot of lagging without letting players know it gets switched on where it was fine before. Maybe update the game to have the feature disabled by default. Upped to 3 stars from 1, whereas from 2020 till this last update it was 5. Worth getting as tokaido is a great game, dumb to have a default where issues happen.

App was fine before the two most recent updates. After this latest update, the game is so choppy that its unplayable. Please fix this as soon as possible. Or at least don't update the app until you see a newer update saying it's fixed.

It's an amazing game, aesthetically pleasing and you need to strategize a bit. The available characters are all really fun but there's no one playing online so it's kinda sad cause I would have loved to play this game online.

Generally fun and I enjoy playing it with our family. However, it would benefit a lot from adding the expansion. Plus, there is a regular bug in the end scoring - for instance, I was in 4th place, but it gave me the bronze and the person in second place was displayed as last.

Awesome game, I just wish we could fast-forward or skip the walking animations for AI when playing solo. Only thing detracting it from being a perfect 5 in my opinion. Also, desperately need the expansion pack for this! It makes the game so much more interesting!

Decent game, but it can be glitchy. AI can take its sweet time taking its turn, which can be quite frustrating. I've had it take as long as 3 minutes to decide which location to visit. But that's rare. Overall it's a good game with some minor problems.

Tons of fun! My kids and I have been playing this for well over a year. Art style is gorgeous. Game mechanics are fun and interesting without being needlessly over complicated. Exciting while also being relaxing. Basically everything I want in a board game type app.

Beautiful but I'm a bit confused about what I'm doing. The tutorial is cute but lacking, so although I knew I had to progress along the track, I had no idea about the game scoring and so was a bit mystified as to what I was doing. I'm going to hunt down a pdf of the instructions to help me. I love the music and graphics. The game probably plays better if you have already played the physical game. Also graphics flicker problems on my Asus C523N Chromebook, when it comes to the scoring.

Love this game. Developers, in fast AI mode the sound the AI characters make when arriving at their stops is getting cut off. This is a sudden change from yesterday. I'm betting it's an unintended consequence. Can you bring back the sound? It's one of the best parts of the game. Still hoping for a fix - I've stopped playing until it is. It's funny how a change in behavior can change game play. Thanks for working on it.

This is a fun game. Love playing online or against AI to kill time. Each AI character plays differently. BTW, The actual boardgame for Takaido is expensive and has hundreds of small tokens. These are a PITA to setup and put away.

Artstyle and animations are beautiful even though the latter are really too slow when playing with AI or other player (please add an option to speed up the movements). Strategy wise is not challenging or competitive enough but at least it is a relaxing experience.

I have to give one star for this game because it can't connect with anyone in online game. Very laggy and very long to have others to join the room. Sometimes the other players lost patience and went away. I can't see any rooms. Bottom line is THIS IS NOT YET ABLE TO PLAY ONLINE
