Twinworld Survivor

I like the jab at P2W games, and writing it into the story is a very clever premise. I want to love this game, and it has so much potential, but with no updates since October of 2025 and no messages from the devs on Discord since before that leaves me with not much hope that this game will improve at all.

Solidly blah. For a paid game, it's incredibly lacking. All gear has to be re-forged and re-upgraded every 10 player levels; no new talents after level 50 (which you hit in two days); no gear combinations; maps are basic and boring; skills are lackluster in just about every way; and, perhaps the biggest flaw, it's yet another survivor game without an endless mode - just short, unimaginative levels to grind through until you reach the absence of any sort of endgame. Don't waste your money.

Other "Survivor" type games are more worth it. Too many systems outside of it. Only portrait mode. No controller support (moving with screen joystick is very annoying for me)

Good old school game, which isn't riddled to hell with micro transactions and ads, which is refreshing. Controls on mobile much more comfortably than the PC version. The only reason it's not a five star rating is because I kinda like the PC version's character design and I think there might be a bug with a few weapon unlocks ':/

I really wanted to like this game, and it's fun for a little while, but the sense of progress hits a brick wall after putting in maybe 4 total hours. I got to the point where I had only 1 weapon powerful enough to be useful, but (A) each weapon is 1 of 4 weapon types, so only 1-2 of the 5 characters can use it without a stat penalty, and (B) that flamethrower I had wasn't fun to use anyway. Getting new and useful weapons and armor was overly expensive in resources by that point, so I quit.

the game is ok but not good. there's not enough level up items so run get repetitive there is not much point in engaging with any powering up outside of runs as it just scales with you. however some of the combos you can do in runs are cool

forces you to use the most worthless weapon at the start, then when you get a gun, ot forces you to dismantle it for parts in a lesson. the basketball is garbage, I'll go find a different rogue lite
