I don't mind dev putting ads in the app. But having ads after EVERY SINGLE GUESSES is just crazy.

On the first day there was an acceptable number of ads, one short one at the end of each round which seemed fair to me for a free game. but by day 2, ads were longer and more annoying (several clicks to get through them), and they were appearing in the middle of a round, sometimes 2 per round, as well as the end. perhaps it's broken, every time I click on classic game an add plays. I've tried closing the game and reopening and attempting to play again but that only causes a different add to pop up. This is unfortunate as I just downloaded it today and had really enjoyed it up until that point.

Wow, I'd read the negative reviews re adverts so was prepared for that. However, the second guess of my very first game was CHINK. Search the word "chink" and you're told " The word "chink" has multiple, distinct meanings ......" This app doesn't recognise a fairly common word which has multiple meanings and shows the message "NOT A VALID WORD". I have no faith in this app, its creator or those who manage it. Therefore, after my second guess I've uninstalled it. Too bad I can't give zero stars.

The events are rigged and that's enough to get 1 star from me. The spin wheel is not equal chance and lands on the worst prize 7/10 spins despite only having 1 slot on the wheel. Don't waste your time on apps trying to trick you, especially when there are so many options out there. a note to the devs, the world is changing and people are fed up with the absence of common sense ethics. The more you exploit things like the wheel, the less the younger generations are going to play.

Not bad. Obviously there are ads, but I don't feel that there are too many, plus you can usually "x" them out after a handful of seconds. So for me the most annoying part is the spin wheel. What's the point in spending 150 coins on a spin if i only win 75 coins 90% of the time??? Like, literally 90% of my spins land on that ONE prize.... Very lame. Update: cheaters in the tournaments, gaining more than 400 points in less than 10 minutes which is not possible without cheating.

Too many ads to actually play the game. Ads pop up after completing a wordle and you have to wait and then the button clicks are beyond confusing to be able to progress to the next puzzle. Uninstalled.

ads play every time you chance apps, even if it's just for 2 seconds to reply to a message. "ads may play while we load" but it's already loaded and THEN shows an ad. even if I'm already in the middle of a puzzle. so so many ads. and they're charging 10 bucks for ad free. used to be $1 or 5 at the most for ad free phone games. greedy corporations 😭

I used to love this app! However, I'm switching simply because of the amount of ridiculous ads they present. How ridiculous is it that in the middle of your thought process the same stupid ad breaks your thought process and wastes your time!!!! I've changed my review from a 5 to barely one. update: I've continued to use and get more frustrated with this app. The ads are getting worse with no way to quit, sometimes! Updated: Yeah, the game is fun. But it's not worth turning my phone over to anyone who wants to hijack it. Wordle designers have enabled the ads to hijack all phone functions, including closing the app. Only a full shutdown/restart to stop the neverending ad The designers have zero interest in honoring any settings, like disabling audio. No matter how many times you check that sound is off, you get blasted with obnoxious ad sounds that can't be escaped without closing and forfeiting your game.
