Is there a way to remove ads? You have so many in a very short amount of time it drains my battery. I understand you have sponsors but every freaking move there is an ad. Deleting it again.

I want to play this, but the Ads ruin it for me. I played two games today. After each, a full-screen ad in the form of a game took over my screen. There was no way to dismiss this. I was forced to play this ad game. And even after doing that a minute I still could not dismiss it. I closed the app completely and tried again. The same thing happened again. This is a terrible user experience.

The game is called Words With Friends, but there isn't a single option to play With Friends. You can play a bunch of solo games, accept invited to play from strangers, but there is no option to add friends, your Facebook friends do not carry over, and you can't actually start of a game of Words With Friends. First off this company zynga has poor customer service. Then they tell you to pay 2.99 for an add free game but it’s only for 7 days then you would have to pay another 2.99 for another 7 days. That is misleading because they make it seem like you got get the 7 days free and the 2.99 is for the ad free for rest of the month. And customer service didn’t even care. I’m erasing all Zynga games from my device. And the ads in their games are awful!!

I really enjoy the game and love playing opponents. But the ads are repetitive and seem hard to exit out of. I will probably stop playing, I have no interest in online gambling and seeing the same ads over and over is terrible. I get it, ads pay the bills when most aren't paying to block them. But the ads have become worse and worse. Let a 30 second ad play, then x-out of pop ups and ap store opening 15 times. Even when you already have the advertised ap installed! I'll watch an ad to give the company revenue, but it's getting to the point where after a decade+ of playing with friends, I'm seriously considering deleting this game. Been playing for over ten years. Couple of things. Ads are really aggressive at times. You have to X out of them multiple times to exit the ad even then many times the ad has already hijacked your browser. Also, I like Dice Challenge, but WWF doesn’t keep up with gameplay statistics like it does in classic play. Change this. It should. And these should be tracked separately! Also, club banners should have more character space for descriptions and club leaders should also be able to tell which of his players has messaging enabled or not. *update* I also paid to have ads removed, and now I have ads back! WTH! Not pleased.

You earn trophies and on Tuesdays, they are stolen and sometimes you will just be left with 500 trophies down from maybe even 80,000+. Also if you get a streak going ? ☠️beware☠️ because they’re going to cut it . . . whether it’s a streak between opponents on how many days you played the game, or the very very important GUESSWORD streak, which I had up to 233 and they have again reset me down to zero. The customer service in the past has been great. However, they have grown tired of me pointing out the problems and will no longer help me. Update: I will be deleting this App. You give no incentive for loyal players to keep playing. After a certain period of time you should automatically become a premium player. And, the game is to rigged I have been playing over 11 years. I enjoy it, but feel it’s to rigged. I can tell right away if I am going to lose. Let the chips fall were they may. Also, getting ADs in the middle and at the end of every game is ridiculous ! Lately I have been getting no vowels and all consonants my first turn ! Have been playing for years and love the new dice game, but I get ripped off during solo challenges because it doesn’t refill tickets when it’s supposed to. Also, I have been getting a lot of games with all vowels or all consonants in a row. I think they are punishing me for not watching ads, but I regularly purchase rewards passes. Despite people using cheat apps, which detract from the experience of true puzzle solving, I still enjoy the game, especially the daily mini-games. The HelpDesk is very responsive. There is, however, a bug that I’ve been trying to bring to the attention of the support staff for quite some time now. I love that feature, but I’m guessing it is not on their priority list. I used to enjoy this app back in the day. So I downloaded it and began a match with my wife. Instead of a simple game back and forth with her, I’m hit with a barrage of unwanted spam notifications and pop-ups within the app that have nothing to do with that match. You are trying to do too much with this app and it’s lost its simplicity and fun in the process. Maybe that’s why I deleted it off my phone previously.

It’s a decent game, only problem is that you will never get the correct amount of club trophies you have earned. On an average of 8000 trophies a week I don’t get. I used to pay for the pass every month, but I quit buying it because of this. We have lost several times because of this. I got an email from zynga apologizing for this problem. I the played the game and of course I didn’t get 2200 trophies. It’s unfixable apparently, or they have no idea how to.

Also it includes many words that aren’t really so it has ruined my scrabble game. After this last update I lost quite a few of my Stickers while others who I play still have them and that does not make me happy. So many issues with this game after updates. I think an update is needed for the update!

I paid for ad free games twice only for WWF to continue to advertise paying 9.99 for ad free games .. I had to get refund from App Store now it’s annoying cause I can’t finish one move without ads that won’t go away ..

I have been playing this game for some years now and it’s great if you can keep the creepers off, every time a new player gets on with me they immediately ask personal questions as if hi isn’t enough, there should be a no chat zone so one can enjoy the game for what it is.

2026 Review: Still enjoy playing this game and giving my brain a workout, since I love words. The only issues are: too much going on, too many flashy icons, and too pushy to be social. Not so much BLOAT, please!

Years ago, this game was far more playable. Since then they have intentionally altered their algorithm to give you the worst possible letters in an attempt to force you to spend real world money to buy power ups. Incessant ads, constant game, disruptions, and an inability to fix bugs within the game, make this a losing proposition. Avoid this game and find something free that is actually worth playing.

The regular prizes for playing regularly are really low. It baits you to buy, buy, buy. Commercials are really annoying too. One commercial after every move. This app is close to being deleted.

The new face & screen is too bright. I asked @zygna for tech-support assist. Seems there's no dark-mode ability. Access ability is important for users who have issues with sight when screen is too bright. I's have given 5* otherwise. Been playing wwf since 2010,(appx).

I loved WWF since 2010, until about a year ago, scammer and frauds entered the game- I had many player friends and great convos! This African scammer took the joy away. They even use AI to correct their language and tone. They stole innocent ID’s and tore my trust- I want dates of initiation back on WWF. 😥

So they took away the ability to get 30 coins per day and now only give us 20 and some other things that I don’t use and have no idea how to use them…….instructions anyone? I also think the new way to text with your opponents is way more cumbersome than it was before…..it was NOT an improvement! Please stop making improvements that AREN’T
