The game has taken a dive as far as new player experience is concerned - hype is one of the biggest factors and detrements for new players as it in essence makes it more difficult than it needs to be for competing in showdown or feud in competitive gameplay. Additionally, no new game modes, just repetitive showdown and feud titan takeover has had no improvements since its release, and boss battles were removed. Such little variation for an almost 10 year old game.

My feelings as a fan of the game

I have been involved with this game since its inception. The developers claim that their updates improve the overall experience; however, it appears that the primary goal is now to encourage in-app purchases to achieve certain objectives. It is virtually impossible to acquire the premium character without spending real money; while you may come close, you cannot obtain the player otherwise. Additionally, the value of free-to-play rewards has decreased. For example, last year, collecting keys could earn you a six-star player; currently, you only receive three-star players and rarely get the newer characters displayed in the promotional screens. I have observed a pattern where pulling 55 keys yields multiple copies of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Asuka, and Jerry Lawler. During these pulls, you are told certain characters are guaranteed, but seeing the same character flash on the screen multiple times does not feel like a true guarantee. I believe guarantees should be respected as such. When collecting coins for other contests, the rewards often differ from what is advertised, such as receiving five-point color cards or 1,000 coins instead of the expected prizes. On a positive note, recent updates to the feud system eliminate the need to wait for other players to join, which improves gameplay. I intend to continue playing, but I will no longer spend money due to the high costs

Whatever you do stay away from this game. I have been playing for 5 years now and while it used to be good it just keeps getting worse. If you don’t spend money you will never be able to play at a top level. After Update Game Won’t Open

After the most recent update, WWE Champions will not open on my IPad Air 2 Version 15.8.6. I really enjoy the game and play everyday. Can you please see what you can do to help me with my issue. Thank you and have a great day.

Visually impaired people

This game is poorly done because visually impaired people can’t even play this game so they need to fix it so if you’re visually impaired, don’t download this game until they fix it if they ever do

Just Have Fun With It

Been playing this for about 10yrs.! Ya, it’s candy crush with wrestlers, but it’s fun to play when you’re on the can, lol. You can have fun with it w/o spending $ if you don’t take it too seriously. They do try to goat you in to buying upgrades but I don’t. Pros: fun playing with your fav wrestlers and building them up. Cons: getting wrestlers is random and can take a while to build up. You can’t trade or sell wrestlers you don’t want/use so your roster just gets giant. I haven’t experienced too many glitches. Customer support has been helpful with my Q’s. Just have fun with it.

Extremely unbalanced

I can’t recommend this game because it is unbalanced. The game is rigged and purposefully makes the NPCs get amazing combos while giving you absolute garbage. Progress for leveling and unlocking wrestlers is extremely slow compared to other gacha games.

Stuck at a glitch and now it’s unplayable

Even though I’m now in my 3rd day of play, I received the tutorial-type popup for the News icon at the top of the screen. After tapping the green button on the initial popup, I’m directed to tap the News icon. If I do that, however, nothing happens. The “Tap tap” icon goes away but nothing can be accessed. Closing then reopening the app takes me through the same process again. I can tap on Career or Events after clearing the popup, but nothing happens. I’ve updated the iOS.

Quickest paywall in gaming history, greed of this level only ever mentioned in the bible. Played for about 15 minutes and immediately hit a paywall and struggled to even beat the third chapter, realized the game was a terribly made, cash-grab and uninstalled for sheer unplayability and little to no player satisfaction whatsoever

WHALE GAME

I played for a while (12-16 months) but just couldn’t keep going. Lot of money spent. It’s exhausting. Feels like a part time job. Love WWE and the game can be fun but I’m all set.

Terrible game

The say the objective is to move gems to do moves but almost everyone you fight doesn’t have to move gems because they start the match off with their moves completely full doing 20/30M damage to start. So you don’t even get a chance to play. Horrible. THIS IS THEE WORST PAY TO PLAY GAME EVER MADE. The new hype stuff is awful now too. It’s gotten worse in 2025.. more BS that doesn’t pertain to actually moving gems. Your wrestlers dies before you can eveb do anything even if you’re 6 star gold max. AWFUL GAME.
