You can play without real money but you will not be competitive in any event. A player would need to spend roughly $12,000 to be decently equipped. There are a lot of whales in this game. Devs nearly abandoned this game

After putting THOUSANDS of dollars into this game I could only hope that the devs fix these bugs & do something - anything new with the game. It’s like they abandoned this game and the player count keeps dying down. This game is overdue for an overhaul over the game mechanics, options, abilities, events, characters just something. The graphics & UI is completely outdated. I can see more pixels than players. This game hasn’t seen any major changes in ages. It’s a shame because I would pay even more thousands into reviving this game. The game keeps crashing on latest iPads & latest Androids on the latest OS and app updates especially when doing stuff like the carpet bombing in Hero Expeditions for example. I have to use an auto clicker for days to redeem all my items like steel for example. The millions add up fast when I’m using trillions. Very time consuming. I have many devices and accounts with many real life purchases made in this game. Please do something so I can keep throwing money at you devs. It’s almost pointless to spend now because it seems that soon the servers will be shut down over the rising player loss. Don’t kill the game. Get people hooked on this game again. It is one of our favorites. The last of my Alliance and I play this everyday almost all day long. Listen to the player base and make a change you won’t regret seeing that money flow increasing. Bring back the old events.

I love this game but...once you get to level 40 and have done all the research what's next. Yes you upgrade the medals, heros, equipment and training devices, so there is a way to increase your stats. I'd like to see HQs upgrade to level 50 with new research and new events. Full of cheaters and hackers

Z Day has allowed players to exploit a flaw in the game that allows the players base to become invisible. The play can attack any other player, but cannot be attacked. They have allowed their MODs to run rampant and break rules, the result is players quitting the game even after spending $$$ to grow in the game. The other result is regions with little or no active bases. I would not recommend this game to anyone with all of the hackers and cheaters.

I spent over £300 during a Tapjoy/lucky day/fyber promo linked to Z Day by FunPlus, with a promised cash reward for reaching a level. I met the terms but never received the reward or a response. FunPlus failed to honour the offer or provide support. This shows poor treatment of loyal players. Very disappointing experience with the developer.

In the next update, or sooner if possible, I would recommend adding a hero expedition key pack or allowing players to buy exploration keys with gold. This game is nothing but a fraud! I have never seen a game that violates their own terms of service more! You literally can prove the game developers screwed up and send in a trouble ticket and they take weeks to run you around! Stay away from the game! Not what they used to be

Company won’t acknowledge you. Recent update error got many zeroed out because they could not log back into game for over a day. Spend your money elsewhere. They never even apologized for the so called inconvenience. This has become the normal for their so called customer service. KOA or GOG would be a better investment by far !!

Player for years

I like the but it has big problem no support. If you have issues your on your no support. They have you fill out reports then say it’s the wrong one so no help .l filled out a report 4 times and couldn’t submit it. Bought Triumph keys got triumph crate instead. They make it to hard to get help. It’s nonexistent. So if you get money to throw away this is the game for you. Game needs to be more player friendly. It’s not.

Bugs…

It’s a pretty cool game, but ever since the last update, the Hero Expeditions won’t work. Every time I try to access it, a screen pops up saying reconnect…. And then the game just resets! I’ve sent a message to support. But they said “Customer service has fed back to the technical staff and we will verify and follow up as soon as possible”… But this has been messing up for almost a week now. Like I said, cool game! But their always seems to be some kind of bug or issue going on. Hopefully they can get this fixed in a timely manner?

A dead game

This game is fine for the first 1-2 hours but as soon as you need alliance help to complete missions… you hit a brick wall. Just not enough active people, I am in a top 3 alliance and haven’t had anybody join a single rally… only have 2-3 alliance helps on each build. This game looked like a lot of fun but you just can’t accomplish anything with the lack of players and the paywalls that keep you from really progressing. Probably deleting and moving on.

Purchases and theft.

Somehow someone from zday charged my account for ingame purchases over 700$ . In my mail notifications from zday when I purchase something none of those purchases show up. I disputed this with my bank and was refunded 700-800$ us … now they are mad at me and I cannot purchase anything from zday. I have been black listed for someone on their side trying to steal money from me. Beware of this game I will probably get kicked off. Protect you accounts .

Switching between accounts

Game is great, the only major issue that turns me off from playing is. Not being able to switch between accounts freely. It’s not a Facebook issue as I’ve uninstalled both Facebook and z day, and only when I reinstalled z day was I able to get into a different account. But once I switched back to my main account. I really like the game, BUT…. It’s kinda hard to play when you can’t obtain the correct gear to upgrade your base. It cost millions of resources to upgrade your base because they don’t allow you to manufacture the gear that would save resources. You can’t even buy the construction super spy gear. They also don’t give you the option to obtain different Avatar’s. You can’t Win or buy them either. I won a skin for my base, I never received it. I have pictures to prove I won it but they denied it!! Other than the truth of the game as I have stated. I do enjoy playing. I wish they cared for their players but they don’t. It does get boring because it’s the same daily missions and harvest resources because it cost 141,000,000 food to upgrade my base. Having Peace is a stupid idea

Frozen screen

Developers here are terrible

Endless racism. Endless bigotry. We have people in our region calling others terrible things. N word. C word. Etc. what does the dev team do? When you send them proof of these TOS behaviors twice or more per week for over a year, they’ll send platitudes and canned responses that say things like “justice has been served” or “we realize this affects the enjoyment of the game”, then you find out they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT THE PROBLEM. Funny thing is, they do the exact same thing here. People leave reviews and they give the same canned answers.
