Don’t let the ads fool you, this is just another dime a dozen base building alliance cash grab game with max microtransactions and gacha mechanics under the guise of something else. The game will probably be pulled from the App Store within a year or two after the company makes their quick buck off of this one so they can go do it again.

Top Alliances, the leaders are scammers
When you join a state, somehow, immediately the top 10 or more alliances will be created by scammers demanding your Discord or Telegram account info in order to join that alliance. They will then try scamming you.
It makes it difficult to find an alliance with a real leader and not someone scamming you. You can create an alliance but you will never be in the top ten. Because somehow those positions are always held by the scammers.

Impossible to progress for free
This game is great in that it actually pays the way the ads show. The problem is that you absolutely cannot progress without paying for characters and perks. That means that the game actually costs a minimum of $5. It’s not like you can grind it out. The game quickly becomes impossible and there are bottlenecks everywhere. The UI fills up with options to buy things and crows your field of vision. Of course games are meant to make money but this feels like one big gotcha to me.

Z Route Redemption is one of the most addictive and entertaining games I’ve played in a long time!
What makes this game so much fun is the combination of strategy, competition, city building, character development, teamwork, and killing zombies. The zombie battles are a huge part of the fun. There’s something incredibly satisfying about building up your characters, getting stronger, and taking on waves of zombies.
You get to build and grow your own city within your alliance, develop your characters, and constantly work on becoming stronger. There’s always something new to accomplish.
The alliance system is fantastic. Finding the right alliance makes the game incredibly interactive and fun. Your teammates are helpful, friendly, and willing to answer questions when you’re trying to figure something out. The chat system is also excellent, making it easy to communicate with your alliance and other players.
The competition is what really keeps me coming back. Everyone is constantly improving and powering up, which gives you that extra motivation to develop your own city, characters, and strategy. It’s not pressure from other players, it’s simply the thrill of competition and wanting to be better.
There’s a surprising amount of strategy involved, and there always seems to be something to work toward. You can easily find yourself spending hours playing without realizing how much time has passed.
If you enjoy strategy, competition, building, character development, zombie battles, and working together with a great group of players, I highly recommend giving Z Route Redemption a try!

Great Game
This game popped up many times as an ad while I was playing other games and it hooked me. There’s a lot to like about this game. It’s very intuitive and it starts off with enough battles for you to get a feel of the style of play. Once you begin to create your city, that’s when the fun begins because you’re not only battling, but there are so many missions and battles and gifts and side quest where you can obtain power ups that you’ll need to progress the game. I recommend this game if you like fast action mixed with puzzle and strategy.

Not as advertised
The advertisement with a fighter and a bear said that z route was the only game that was just like the ad. However, it is build off the same game engine as many other games that don’t let you progress without waiting forever or spending little sums of money day after day to meet the tougher and tougher levels and then all of a sudden the action in the ads disappear and the game becomes almost identical to whiteout. I’m only playing it still because I hate myself.

I enjoyed the game at first. quickly level up to 16. then things take days to build and if you join a group you get set back so much each day by over powerful bully groups that it quickly becomes no fun. of course if you want to repeatedly spend lots of money you can become one of those bullies. it is easier to delete the game.

Fun and multi-tiered play
I loved the trailers and when downloaded, realized the trailers were not different from gameplay! There is so much more than you see in those trailers too! I love the battles, co-op play, events, research, and rebuilding of the city! There is plenty to keep your attention and allow you to enjoy your experience! Usually when I see game on an ad I’m like man this game is going to be horrible. Most likely nothing like the ad, riddle with ads itself, and just horrible to play. Downloaded this one and gave it a shot, have not seen an ad once, is addicting to play tbh I’ve put like 4 hours in over the course of the first day. I would highly recommend playing this if you like clash of clans type game but with actual games you can play instead of just waiting and then attacking other players. This has an actual story on top of that and goals to reach.

It starts by love-bombing you with free gifts, creating the illusion this is not the most toxic pay to win game. Once you hit level 8, reality sets in and you are in a never ending cycle of being looted by any high level player. Games like this gives you two choices. This game is addictive!
I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this game as much as I do. There’s a lot more strategy and teamwork involved than I initially thought, and there’s always something to work toward. I really like the different characters, events, and ways to build up your team. The community aspect is also a big plus because working together with other players makes the game much more enjoyable.
The developers have clearly put a lot of thought into the game, and I appreciate that there are regular updates and improvements. If you enjoy strategy games with progression, teamwork, and plenty to keep you busy, I’d definitely recommend giving Z Route: Redemption a try.

Fun, engaging, and keeps me coming back!
I’ve really enjoyed Z Route: Redemption! Building up my heroes, experimenting with team combinations, and watching my squad grow stronger are some of my favorite parts. At first I thought it would be like one of those kill time mini games that I would play during work only, but then I saw how interesting and easy the game was and is to play . A well made masterpiece of a skill game
I stumbled upon this visually appealing and easy to follow marvel a few months back. I have literally stopped with any other games I was playing. Good mix of game modes and farming
I really enjoy this game. There are plenty of ways to play for free and the packs are pretty good value. You get access to really good heroes early on and the explanations for how to do everything is clear. I also really enjoy the maps and modes where you get to choose a path while scrolling forward. It’s challenging but satisfying at the same time. The game is also good for passive and active players. Some days I spend a lot of t8me and some days when I’m busier I spend less time but both ways are good to play. The art style is also good. Give it a try!

This is the most complex, satisfying and engaging game I’ve come across in nearly two full decades of mobile gaming. The gameplay mechanics are vast and varied, the rewards are satisfying, and the strategy is stimulating. Aside from personal and individual quests and rewards, of which there are so many, you also get another level of engagement by playing as part of an Alliance. Through the alliance you can access additional accomplishments, achievements, and rewards that are not possible for a solo player. Additionally, I have found the online community and my alliance to be friendly, helpful, and fun. While there seem to be many generally accepted best practices for progression established in the online community, you are still free to “go rogue” and make personal progression decisions based on your own preferences and goals. This allows for a wide variety of player types and widens the variety of encounters you can run across in battle. Overall I can see this game being a mainstay in my mobile gaming for a long time to come. Very satisfied with everything so far and a glad that I got an ad for this game in some other, less amazing game!

Z-Route Redemption is one of those games that completely sneaks up on you. I downloaded it expecting to play for a few minutes and somehow ended up losing hours. 😂
The gameplay is ridiculously addictive, but what really makes it stand out is the atmosphere, progression, and feeling that your decisions actually matter. There’s a great balance between strategy, action, and exploration, and it never feels like I’m just repeating the same thing over and over.
The developers clearly put a lot of thought into the details, too. It feels polished, unique, and genuinely fun rather than like another copy-and-paste mobile game designed to squeeze money out of you.
If you’re into survival, strategy, progression, or just want a game you can actually get hooked on, give Z-Route Redemption a shot. Easily one of the most enjoyable mobile games I’ve played in a while.

My review
I’ve been putting in serious work on Z Route: Redemption, and after grinding my way to Level 22, I can easily say this game keeps you hooked if you love base-building and military progression.
Instead of rushing through base levels, I’ve taken a research-first approach—putting all my focus directly into soldiers, troop stats, and hero upgrades. Stacking up military power early makes a huge difference when it comes to holding your ground, taking on higher-level hordes, and contributing to alliance wars.
What I Love About It:
Rewarding Progression: Hitting level 22 takes genuine time and planning, but seeing your squad power and hero lineup scale up makes every upgrade feel earned.
Hero & Squad Synergy: Powering up heroes and pairing them with strong troop tiers gives you a real competitive edge in battles.
Alliance Play: Having a solid military build makes you an asset in alliance events and territory control.
My Advice for New Players:
Don't just rush your HQ—put in the work on your base research, keep your heroes upgraded, and train your troops constantly. Build that strong foundation early, and you'll be a force to be reckoned with!

I feel robbed
All I wanted to do was kill zombies. Sure, I’ll upgrade heroes if I have to. The animations are attractive and fun, but why did the battles dry up? The developer must make most of their money off people who participate in the endless alliances. I’ve no interest in joining with groups of people paying hundreds to press buttons on the toilet. Not the same as the ads
The game showing in the ads are a small part of the larger theme which is a scenario that you are building a community, and in order to progress you need stronger players, which you get by purchasing them. So basically it is expensive if you want to get ahead. If you have money to throw away on a game this is one of them. After a few purchases I realized this was just another money pit game. The rewards was not worth the price.

It’s exactly what you thought!
This game would be awesome if it wasn’t like every other game that makes you go through some stupid world building exercise for the majority of the gameplay. So if people want to just shoot stuff and rewards, this is not the game for you.

Just like the other games, not like the ads
The ads for this game repeatedly tell you it’s not like the other games, it’s just like the ads. Surprise, surprise, that is a lie. It is not like the ads and is just like the other games. You have to deal with BS like building a town and watching stupid stories. If you’ve tried one of these games before and didn’t like it, you won’t like this and shouldn’t waste your time.

Another pay to play game. This one is the worst of them all. The game is more interactive BUT you’ll only win if you’re paying. Way more of a cash grab with this one. Save your time & play something else.

Not bad
Out of all the games, I’ve downloaded like this. I like this one the best you have to upgrade some stuff here and there, but there’s a lot more battles in this one. Then other games and I haven’t come across one add yet. And it is not just like the ads.

typical bait and switch- zombie hordes briefly- then base building
title says it all- bait and switch - you play a few rounds of interesting zombie waves- then its base building so you can get to a few more - and the alliances- always pushing for discord or what’s app conversations- always calling you “family” and each iteration of base building takes twice as long as before- and those zombie waves? yeah- nothing like in the advertisement - just boring - barely challenging groups of zombies - a waste of time except for the occasional toilet session

Basic features missing and not as advertised
From the beginning of the game a pause option should be available to disable sound and music. There’s no reason to force a user to have audio. Also, once you do get the option to disable it, it does not respect the settings during cut scenes so in the middle of a quiet area it all of a sudden starts to glare out noises and interrupts any videos you might be watching.
The gameplay is kind ok until they start forcing you to build things then it gets deleted

Another building game 🥀
The photos they advertise on here and in ads isn’t the full game. As usual, the intro is, then it’s another base building game that will make you join an alliance and battle other players. Not what I downloaded the game for. Dont even get me started on the over sexualized women (i hope) characters.

same old tied formula
Rather than a scrolling action content as used in advertisement- this game starts out with just that, but in about 20 minutes of game play- it’s the same base building/alliance discord pushing/ hurry up because there is a giant world sweeping armed force that is coming for the resources you need because you can’t advance to more scrolling action content- it’s a farce - they will try to sell you things to make the builds faster or objects to make your character stronger when all you want is the endless hordes they advertised
nope, this is the exact same as all the rest - it’s not even good for the casual player because even if you ignore the alliance melodrama- you have to wait roughly 10-15 hour to upgrade your base to face new hordes in the scroll- and then you have wait 30-40 hours to upgrade the base for the next one- it’s not fun at all
