I remember playing a game like this when I was in school, but it was free, so maybe this isn't the same one. Either way, it's the same exploration/survival gimmick, but the story didn't really hit for me. The wording was weird and hard to follow along with, and the buttons were a bit buggy. I did enjoy getting a different ending by playing differently, but besides that, this doesn't have much replayability. It was good to keep me busy for a weekend, but that's about it.

I can honestly say I've never played a game like this before in my life, and I'm 41 years deep in avid gaming. Other games are text based, but this one tells a story, and the background 'music' can be unnerving and beautiful. Everything I read, I'm glad there isn't a graphical representation, because my imagination is running wild. I feel like this is what's been missing in my gaming life, when every other game now feels stale and regurgitated. Fantastic game, thank you!

I had only played somewhat on a computer, and I decided to purchase the mobile version for portability and out of support. It is safe to say I was decently surprised. For a game that started out so simple (gathering wood and keeping the fire going), it was surprisingly fun for an interesting premise. For my first text-based game in years, I completed the game wanting more of this style. I am really glad this game has a prequel and I hope to play it soon. 5/5 stars, worth the money.

this started out incredibly simple. gather wood, keep the fire going. and then out of nowhere progress started booming and I became exceedingly addicted. had to keep going out. had to keep exploring, getting supplies. it's so simple but I kept getting lost in it. 100% worth the playthrough

A relaxing, minimalist, text-based game where you explore a strange world and gather resources to build and make equipment. I did two gameplays, and they took me about an hour and a half each. The story is a little different based on how you play but the mechanics are the same. I just wish the game was longer, with more alternative ways to beat it. I would also love to be able to interact with the builder, maybe do different quests for her that would reveal more of her story.

Honestly the best game I've ever played. I think. I've spent the past year playing this over and over trying to complete it differently. For less than £2 I've deffo got my money's worth.
