Age of History 2: Definitive

I love this game but the bugs are unbearable. the game closes frequently with no clear reason at all, I am playing on the map with the most provinces, on the year 1100.

The only reason I give this game 4 stars is because I have it on steam and it's much better than it is on mobile,especially when it comes to selecting multiple armies. I also find it disappointing that this game does not have a naval system to invade someone else's by sea. This is almost like hoi4 but without the focus tree.(One would be nice though) I know it's hard to program but... please. I also like the Ai portraits in the aoh3 game, please bring that to this.

Theres been no updates since April 21st meanwhile the PC players laugh in our face. Do not buy this game right now. Im keeping it installed and won't play until until the update actually comes

I like the new iteration of the game. This version of the game is more stable and some former glitches have been fixed (though there's new glitches). It seems that AI vassals can't declare independence; if you use custom civs for formables the button for the action is see through; trading is imbalanced meaning that the AI will not form coalitions even if they despise the target and our relations are excellent. It would also be great if you could have a set ideology for custom nations.

Honestly a great game! Big improvement from the previous ones. I just wish that in the mobile(map) version,the options for the formable nations was the same(ex. England has 4 formable civs in the pc map while on the mobile it has 0), basically many nations miss unique flavor. Other than that awesome game! Eagerly waiting the new updates!

upgrading review as enjoying the game a lot more though there is still a issue with near impossibility in trading to have nations go to war with other nations even if the enemy nation is only a single province you're already at war with on higher difficulties like extreme and legendary or even middle like hard

A superior extension of its predecessor of old with exceptional mobile-ported features and phenomenal visuals. Age of History 2:Definitive Edition is a mobile game like no other; It is the one that satisfies all what history enthusiasts desire: Accurate Historical Maps, Countless options of civilizations to play as, dozens of scenarios to play, Diplomatic engagements, etc. The game however suffers the same crash issues but overall, it's fun; I enjoyed creating scenarios of my own choosing.

loading takes long and when i exit the game it doesn't wait, it does not stay active in the background. so every time i have to exit it to for example respond ot a text or skip an ad of the video I'm watching. the game stops working, and progress is lost. unless i have it saved

i like this game so much but i found so many bugs about three and as i remember one of them was after you reach 2000000000 this number means two billion of army and you add more about 200000000 two hundred million in one provice the army will disappear i hope he will fixes it for finding it. (Edit) recently the game closes by itself and the map moves so fast instantly and this is really bothering me like if i touch the screen the screen moves so fast and teleport to the end of the world

Everything looks great. The new world map is impressive. it's large and highly detailed. However, I would appreciate it if you could fix some issues. The leader selection screen bug, the errors related to formable nations, and the broken textures in some Pacific provinces.

brilliant, I downloaded age of history 3 a year and a bit ago and just couldnt get into it, it definitely can be manageable but as a game I can quickly open and play a bit this is much better. I love the added detail from the last game being able to have different options with other countries. only thing Id say is late game it can get a little easy but thats as expected. 10/10 experience especially when some cool scenarios play out

Love the game but disappointed to see we still can't upload/add photos for our custom leaders or flags on mobile, please add this. There is also still the same bug of the annexation event randomly changing the selected nations as in the original, I kinda expected that to be fixed by now. Editing once again: You actually can't add custom leaders AT ALL as they don't even show up in game

Great game, simple to play but super fun without all the micromanaging of games like HOI. The only issue I have are the plagues and how little we can do to combat them, yes I know you're meant to invest and put infrastructure into your provenances but that literally doesn't help when half of my capitals population gets wiped out by dysentery. I literally lost 600k in three turns to multiple outbreaks across contents. That in the 1600s? it's enough to wipe out my empire.

it's really fun. still one of the best strategy games. however some flags/Empires/Leaders are wrong. also the new assimilation system is awful. everything else is really fun. wish you had a bronze age middle east scenario! update: the AI needs fixed. it doesn't seem like the same rules you follow applies to it. One single province will have 20-30k units & completely sink your empire. it just keeps pumping out units out of thin air. It feels like only you have rules.

AoH 2 DE is a version of the game that includes many modded features made by the community. People decry this, but Lukasz did lose out on money when anybody could download APKs from his site that were better than the basegame for free. This apk having Sideload DRM, however, is very annoying. You're better off tracking down good mods, I recommend Mega Mod. Being inspired from these mods, I expect Lukasz will add the vast majority of these features, which I've paid him to do with this purchase.

Hello, I purchased Age of History 2: Definitive Edition on April 18, 2026 for $6 through the Google Play Store. Unfortunately, the game contains a bug that makes it unusable for me. The mouse scroll wheel does not function for zooming in and out on the map, which is the primary and only zoom control in the game. Because of this issue, I cannot properly play the game. I have attempted multiple troubleshooting steps, I was really wondering if you could add a controls to fix for cb users.

First, I'll edit this review as I play. Also, this is a nice early birthday surprise. First Impression: The game is great, but plenty of flags need to be fixed, and we need cold war leaders. Second: Fantastic addicting game! Can't wait to see what comes next as updates drop. Everyone complains about you abandoning Aoh3, but this game was needed.

Playing AOH for the first time was good, but it experienced some issues. Now this game is for the casual geopolitics fan who like turn-based war games, but with tons of more features than the free ones. Although there comes some issues like lag, misclicking buttons and etc. The naval system is a bit broke. Overall I really liked this game for my first AOH. Thanks!

I love this game but the flag mechanics with the existing countries are different then what is displayed like the Union of South Africa should have the orange white and blue but instead displays the modern flag of South Africa the same is for Kazakhstan as a monarchy as well that's the only issue I have with it.

so far I really like this game. Haven't had any issues or crashes. I have gotten tens of thousands of turns without a crash. The only major bug I have had seen is for some reason the Next Turn button randomly stops working and I have to reload the game. I hope this could be fixed at some point. other then that I have had a lot of fun playing this game.
