Game is great until you want to unlock the transcendent versions, then this game becomes a grindfest that wastes your time. 500 days on a certain difficulty, with no ability to save or revert if you fail before then. Who thought this was a good idea?

Feels like an unfinished game. Really awkward tutorial that doesn't teach enough of the unintuitive systems the game has. SUPER repetitive and grindy. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 for an interesting concept.

When I first found this game, I thought that it was niche. It got that good pixel style graphics and dungeon building mechanic. I wanted to give it a try and it didn't disappoint me. It was fun! Got addicted to playing it, bought DLC and provided more fun. I know my review is a tad too late but better late than never. Shame I didn't find this game much earlier and I sure ain't deleting it from my device.

I realized I never made a review for this game when I started playing Dungeon Within. I've got way more hours in Dungeon Maker than I care to admit. Long runs, large scale, and so many ways to play without needing to spend money outside of the DLC brought so much fun. Also the pixel art is fantastic.

Maybe I'm missing something, but this game has a basically non-existant tutorial and throws toy into a convoluted purchasing/energy battle system with no explanation and a difficulty scaling that seems impossible to overcome. I'm mostly annoyed I waited a few days to play it and have lost the ability to refund.

A really nice addictive game with different strategies available. Although I would like to say that an increase in the variety of monsters attainable through egg loots would be great. That's all. New- My cloud save is lost and I have to play from the beginning which is a bit of a hassle

i originally made this 5 star review in October of 2020, playing since 2018. I'm rewriting April 2026. I maintain my original 5-star review. There is literally nothing to complain about. Everything is balanced in a fair way that quickly rewards progress once you get a hang of the gimmicks. There are absolutely zero mandatory purchases, and you can progress this game completely free beyond the initial purchase. It's quick to get addicted to. One of five games I constantly cycle back to.

An absolutely phenomenal game with a near endless amount of combinations and strategies! Each game can take up to DAYS to finish depending on how long you want to keep going. It can be confusing at first since there's no tutorial, but you should be able to learn it with relative ease. The only thing I'm not the hugest fan of is how there are some skins that you can only get by paying money for a bundle rather than buying them individually or unlocking them through playing.

Honestly a higly addicting game thats perfect for mobile. It has in-app purchases but the only thing you really need to get is the DLC and you wont have to get it till late into the game. The ingame store even warns you that anything you can buy there can be unlocked by just playing the game. An awesome developer and I cant wait for their next game.

very fun dungeon defense playing as the monsters. cool gameplay mechanics with monsters and various rooms. upgrading and combining monsters, as well as the upgrades to rooms is quite cool. anyone who likes defending their dungeons from invading heroes should give this game a try!
