if you are going to port your PC game to android, at least do a UI redesign at a minimum. this adaptation fails where a lot of other adaptations fail - everything is so incomprehensibly tiny to the point where the game is unplayable. Even the optional UI scaling options are broken as the button to confirm / return to the main menu is either missing or rendering off screen somewhere. I'm tired of gaming developers ruining what could have been a good experience by doing things like this.

Kind of like a Russian themed fallout style game from the original franchise, love this game but later on run out of loot to turn into vendors and the stims are extremely rare hard to make it past level 5 with the XP system so hard to level.

Waste of $10

The PS5 dual shock controller compatibility was terrible so I switched to just using the tablet which was also terrible. I wish I could get my $10 back. Literally didn’t even make it out of the first room.

i can't honestly give this 5 stars, 2 stars is what it deserves due to the fact that it is very unfair with the guns and even more unfair with how it is designed, it would've been better to atleast had it so the player didn't lose all their gear to some idiot deserter looking goons and to actually get some actual better gear....and also this game kinda forces the player to have to actually invest all in barter...thats not fair...its stupid, make it so the gear is cheaper for first village.

Lovingly crafted port for a lovingly crafted game

As far as I’m concerned this is the true Fallout 3. I was very surprised at the degree which the entirety of the UI was revamped to make this a very pleasant and intuitive port. I do not catch the slightest whiff of cynicism in the port which so often are hamfisted cash grabs to tap the mobile market. It is obvious a lot of love went into bringing it to mobile just as much love went into the game. A game for fans, by fans, with the perfect amount of creativity and originality to balance out the faithfulness to its inspirations. Cloud saves for cross play with your other platforms just make it even sweeter. Thank you Atom Team.

Great game great writing for the story and all the npcs but the game touches a lot of aspects but doesn’t really go in depth with any of them . It touches survival but it really doesn’t make the game harder . Temperature doesn’t play a factor either the hunting in the game is a joke fishing is a joke . The crafting aspect the game touches but it’s pretty simple nothing to it guns are so easy to come by . Honestly in my opinion you guys should make a game like stalker gamma with crafting and gun building monster

There's an item in the add-on support pack that's pretty good to have. It's a cammo suit and I had it, but it's now just disappeared. The DLC content has gone. You can't click on the button to purchase it - nothing happens. The "already purchased" link is non operative. The developers are still doing upgrades; there’s been one pretty recently. They don't, however, respond to requests for help. This makes me uninterested in buying Trudograd because I've got no idea if they support it.

I made another review when i first downloaded and it was the worst game but i kept it downloaded i eventually went back to play it and it grows on you. Great from rpg perspective and very replayable wish they made more games like this there's definitely a fanbase for it!

This scratches my post apocalyptic itch for fallout. You have to give it a little patience to appreciate. I’m on my 3rd playthrough. Huge waste of time

Nope. I gave it a try. It was extremely difficult and boring as hell. I uninstalled. I gave it a second chance and tried to pay more attention and take it carefully, still absolute trash. This game could have been so good, and it looked so promising, but after this, I have come to the conclusion that Russian developers haven’t yet learned that games are supposed to be fun. If you ever wondered “what would fallout 1&2 be like if they were made by people that hate me and want me to be discouraged from ever playing them again?”, Atom RPG is the answer.

If there was an option to change the font size to bigger than three pixels and if they changed the colour of some text to stand out more, I'm sure it could be great. Not so much

Reminds me of the game Encased a little too much..Confusing plot, Skills are not well balanced vs the enemy even on the easy lvl. I had maxed out ability scores and did minimal damage to enemies that seemed common joes. Armor was a joke, had the best armor and would take high damage from bandits with hand held weapons, ammo was astronomically expensive and virtually non existent but the enemy had plenty off it to hit me with...All told just not a satisfying/intuitive game to play, more frustrating than anything.

This game is amazing. the dialogue trees are so incredibly well written. it makes me wish every game was as well fluid, the conversations you have with NPC's actually sound like a real conversation that could happen. also Atom really seems to "get" player agency. choices you make ACTUALLY MATTER!!! there was one part where there were 9 branches to a dialogue tree! it's a great game, please buy it if you have ANY interests in CRPGs (Baldur's gate, fallout 1/2, etc).

it tried to be a good game but withing my first 3 hours every single encounter or mission i did i had everything robbed from me or straight up killed. Just no way around it either. these people get 1 turn ya dead. let alone the 3-5 v 1 i typically get. I got fallout new Vegas vibes but with old school fallout gaming tactics in it. Game is truly a blessing for mobile gamers and hoping to see this game evolve more. I saw a DLC which I might get in the future depending on how much I enjoy the game. Gameplay is very nice haven’t experienced any usuals using a iPhone 12 at the moment to play the game haven’t even completed my first play through but the journey so far is epic truly a great experience for gamers for want a a great 2024 fallout vibe for your phone. The story and atmosphere is pretty good and a great throwback to the old Fallout games. The gameplay is nothing like those classics though. This game is terribly imbalanced. You can stumble onto a quest and get one shot to death. You can do about five hours of side quest to level up and start the main quest and still have a hard time with it. As someone that has been playing old CRPGs since the late 80s I can tell you these game were not like this. I could still put on Fallout and while lacking quality of life improvements still don’t have balancing issues like this game. I really wanted to like this one. I put over thirty hours into it. If you can get over the imbalance you might enjoy it but I deleted it.

Incredible Game

I recently purchased this game on my Sony account and fell in love. Atom RPG is a modern version of the classic computer RPG’s that I grew up with through the 90’s. Purchased the iOS ported game to support the developers of this adventure and play on the go. Definitely give this game a try if you enjoy the classic turn-based role playing games of yesterday.

Superb, please fix these issues

This game is outstanding. I love it and I have been playing it for weeks. They took the original Fallout and the best parts of a number of other games, added crafting, which everyone loves, and created a game with a unique Soviet setting. Poor Dogmeat in the original Fallout was entirely too easy to kill, and they even fixed that. The pop culture references are too numerous to mention, but a few stand outs are the references to old songs, movies like the lord of the rings, and Call of Cthulhu. For that last star, please fix the following. Unless you give your character a Dex of 10, The game becomes unplayable. All creatures have 10 movement points, and if you have anything less than 10, you will find yourself starting the game over. I read a hint somewhere that if you reduce your Luck to one and bump your Dex to 10, it becomes much more playable. And it was true. I love all of the follower characters, and I don’t know if there is a limit to how many of them can travel with you at once. But it is more playable with just you, the dog, and one other person. Please find a way to issue a group command to all of them at once. And please add the dialogue option of switching primary weapon so you don’t have to fiddle with the inventory. And finally, there does not seem to be a way to unload a weapon without interacting with a container. I humbly request that you consider these improvements. Thanks for the awesome game and I look forward to future updates and installments.

Best RPG on iPhone

Was desperately searching for a fallout style RPG, and this did not disappoint, difficulty is perfect, weapons and skills are balanced, barter system is balanced. Quests(with the exception of repeatables) aren’t repetitive. Tons of hours of gameplay. Progression is adequate. The amount of randomness based off skills make this game re-playable for a different experience. They advertise 60 hours of gameplay, and I believe they are selling themselves very short. Very impressed, deserves much more praise and downloads, also, no micro purchases!!! To the devs, please keep updating and I’d gladly purchase a dlc. Invest in advertising so more people can learn of this great game.

An absolutely amazing and beautiful game that is truly the spiritual successor to the beloved Fallout 1 and 2 games of long ago. Not only is ATOM everything I hoped it would be, but it is also a delightful and full-flavored spin on the former USSR. As such, it’s true to everything that made Fallout 1 and 2 an amazing experience, while offering a fascinating romp through what one might imagine in a post-apocalyptic world set in the former Soviet Union. Additionally, not only is ATOM is packed with the kind of tongue-in-cheek humor so evident in the Fallout universe but it brings its own hilarious brand of laughs and bawdy entertainment. But humor isn’t all ATOM offers, but it serves up some of the most poignant, emotionally charged and thought provoking situations as well. Like all really good RPGs, the writing in ATOM is simply superb and reminds one of the old BioWare masterpieces. You develop distinct relationships—friendships as well as genuine hatred for enemies that does much to really make the ATOM universe really come alive. There are a few unpolished spots here and there as well as a few minor typos and translation errors here and there, but they were never enough to put me off at all. Overall, ATOM is a masterpiece of an RPG that checks all the boxes for me. It’s enormous, it’s deep, and it’s something you can really sink your teeth into. And on top of all that it was actually ported over to iOS in all its glory and beauty. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Love Fallout? You'll love ATOM

This is the second time I bought ATOM RPG. I play it on my Switch; I just bought this version to support the ATOM Team, because I love them. :) They poured their heart and soul into this game. Like seriously, if they were offered to remake Fallout 1 & 2, they'd succeed with flying colors. I can't play classic Fallout as of now, but this satisfies my classic Fallout cravings ten-fold. :)

Aggravating at best

Tedious. Interaction with objects are annoying including the faded mini icons that appear suddenly. The turn based combat is slow and clunky making it less than enjoyable. Reminds one of Last Day on Earth with a strictly Russian slant: mining for resources, annoying how you have to run back-and-forth on the map that is slow and tedious. Graphics are good. Seems 2B an interesting world but have to admit: not worth $7.99. Regret purchasing. Reminiscent of Day R Survival. Perhaps trying to re-create that on a more elaborate scale? Appears to be an import that failed the mark. Perhaps others will enjoy, I did not. Update: 6/19. Developer released an update: only took 4+ times w/ strong wi-fi. One would be cautious of this developer.

This does that play style justice but has its own unique atmosphere being in Russia! I’m around level 23 and haven’t even come close to completing all the quests!! Neat, but fail :(

This game is really nice as far as controls. The story line is great. The game is very unbalanced, I see you would have to play many times with a new start to figure out the best and only options to survive as in fighting. The skills needed to even protect or fight off anything is not there. Finding items to craft are not there enough to help. The npcs do way to much damage to a noob char. Theres not near enough places to store items or any at all. Again, everything is so unbalanced. The quest line doesnt really lead your char properly through the game. Npc’s are always so over powered no matter where you are. Any guns you get, they are worthless because of lack of skill balance. Devs... its a gun man wth. Why do you need a skill for that? Rusty .9mm does X damage ... 9mm does better damage... Sorry man, but this game needs to be redone its so terrible.

Frustrating

I really want to like this game but it definitely tries its hardest to make me hate it. Traveling speed between locations is crazy slow which until you manage to get a car is what makes the game so tedious. The bigger issue is that the game has the nerve to have ambush events be practically unwinnable right from the beginning. Like I’m armed with nothing but a broken bottle and the very first ambush event was 3 men sometimes with guns.

No console commands or save game export-import of the full versions, while the micro font size makes the game almost unplayable on iPhone

I love the concept

Don’t get me wrong I love the way this game works and it’s great to have an old style fallout game on my phone I wish they did fall out one and two like this. My problems or simply this the controls are a little too Clunky and I wish that the loud you to use your phone to read the text at least because I’m dyslexic and I have a hard time reading but the game controls everything seem fine it’s just very little tweaks me to be done to make this game awesome.

Very fun game

Huge Fallout 1 & 2 fan and this game is giving similar vibes! Very fun and challenging. Sometimes I want to use cheats to give me better stats but the ios version doesnt seem to support cheats. Please add the command line cheats feature!

This is exactly what I was looking for!!! If you want a true classical RPG that really lets you role play the character without shoving adds and auto play in your face then this is the game for you!!! Beautifully made game with a lot of playback value. I know personally I will be designing multiple characters to play this game to it’s full potential. What you say and do in the game really effects the full aspects of the play through as well! Highly recommend this as a top must have game for an fan of Fallout or old school RPG fan!!!!

Good game it’s just unplayable

I was enjoying the game and saving it everytime when I found a bug where it makes it unplayable, I just ended a fight with some bandits and they had bombs I picked the bombs up to sell them but as soon as I leave to the map I blow up, I managed to survive the explosion but now I can’t talk to anyone at all, plz fix that I want to play the game again I don’t want to restart.
