Don't Starve Together

I was excited for Don't Starve Together Mobile because I love the PC version, but this release is disappointing. I can't share my skill points, and many of my drops and Twitch skins are missing while some of them are shared, the targeting system is poor, and there are inventory bugs. The biggest problem is the online multiplayer. It relies entirely on players hosting the world instead of official dedicated servers, resulting in high ping for most players unless you are playing with your friends.

This game Is great, however there is one reocurring problem with it! The servers are EXTREMELY laggy, almost if multi-player wasn't intended in the first place. The delay is just insufferable to do any kinds of activities like combat in the game. Please fix this!

I absolutely love this port and have been enjoying it a lot. I only ran into two issues. First, manually tapping the attack button has about a second of delay between attacks. Holding the button works, but it makes kiting much harder. Second, target selection becomes unreliable in crowded areas. I often end up targeting the wrong enemy or object, especially at my base when trying to light campfires. It would be much better if we could manually choose our target. I hope you can fix these issues.

I don't understand that at the release of the game, I can create games with caves, but now it doesn't let me, I understand that it's because of the RAM, but if it allowed me before using the same device, surely it should be allowed at the later version of it. Plus I can join servers with caves, how is that different from when I make a game with caves, it sucks that I miss a lot of the game features when playing alone

I've been waiting for DST on mobile for so long. Huge thanks to Playdigious and Klei for making it happen. The game is almost the same as the PC version. There are still a few bugs, but I'm sure they'll get fixed. The support team has also been great. They reply really fast and have been fixing bugs really quickly.

I've been waiting for this for so long! worth every bit of money. Also it needs more optimization, i do sometimes experience little to no fps drops. I also noticed that server has some kind of delay, I would really appreciate you look in to this issue🫶. I'm currently experiencing overheating issues when there's a lot going on. I hope that there will be an option to choose Don't Stave Alone, since the server is kinda buggy. I prefer playing alone due to the server being delayed.

I am giving this game 3 stars because of the input delay in solo offline mode. I really enjoy the game, and the art style, gameplay, and survival mechanics are excellent. However, the input delay makes combat feel unresponsive, even when I am playing alone without an internet connection. I should not have to enable lag compensation just to make the game playable. Please improve or remove the input delay so solo offline gameplay feels smooth and responsive. This needs urgent attention now please.

As of the moment, the mobile client of DST is too buggy. Newer characters like Wortox are not allowed in the caves, it forced the player to pick characters like Willow (base game), controls are still hard for stuff like lighting a fire pit during winter especially if there's stuff on the ground like coal, rowing, hammering and digging is difficult without teleporting, and crafting an endothermic fire pit causes the game to crash.

I play DST in console and enjoying the mobile version in both ios and android so far. However, when playing Wendy with the Mourning Glory II unlocked there is no option to drink the potion. I tried everything including dragging the potion to the headgear with the wreath equipped nothing. There is also no option to drink the potion, only to apply on Abigail, which makes the skilltree for it useless. Furthermore, I wish we could drag to refuel/use some items like the sewing kit and bulbs

I enjoy playing dst. dst pocket version almost has the same feel as the pc version. However, the main problem i'm experiencing is the difficult contextual targeting. I can't plant on farm plots in full, or having trouble in highlighting items or objects i wanna interact with. Also, it's so hard to row using both oars.. but other than that, the game is fine. i hope the issues will be fixed

Great game—it's just like the PC version! However, when playing as Wortox, I sometimes accidentally teleport while using the hammer. I hope you can make a slight adjustment to the controller layout or controls so it's less likely to trigger his ability by mistake when using tools.

I'm playing Don't Starve: Pocket Edition Mobile and found what seems to be a bug with Wolfgang and the Mighty Gym. I can mount the gym, but no matter what buttons I press, he won't start lifting. The only action that appears is the B button to get off. I tried both touch controls and a controller, but nothing works. Hopefully this can be fixed because it makes the Mighty Gym unusable.

Its also especially difficult to Fuel a Campfire when there is items dropped nearby, the Highlight mechanism is very janky still! The mobile port is very solid. The fact that Klei ported the game to mobile is awesome. It definitely came with a solid release and the game is well optimised. It supports controller but unfortunately does not support mouse and keyboard. Ok so that is very niche because almost no one is going to play it with a mouse and keyboard, but would have been nice. They did rework the mobile controls it feels incrediboy smooth. I really thought it would be still like single players. But solid thanks Klei.

Love DST!! Glad it made its way to mobile. Overall seems to run pretty smoothly. My only complaint is about farming.. when trying to till soil it can be quite frustrating as it will just move your previous till space around instead of creating a new one all together. Can that be improved upon so it isn't as tedious? Would get my 5 star right away! Edit - Also, it would be nice to be able to drag and drop items in a chosen location... this would allow for items to be dropped into the ocean!

This port is very much solid, but here's something i want to point out. The virtual stick is a mess, there's no option to lock it in place and when I lower the HUD the virtual stick is clamp on top of the inventory making it a lil bit far to reach. There's no action available when dragging item from one another from in your inventory like fueling your items, the worst is you cant even feed your bees or butterflies coz you have to drop them and they would be gone. PLS ADD DONT STARVE HAMLET!!!!!!

Amazing port! The gameplay is almost exactly like the other versions and I've had no performance issues. The only bug I have found so far is that the creepy song does not play when Charlie tries to extinguish your fireplace, which is quite minor

The port is quite stable for its initial release, and I'm sure will only get better as more updates come. That said, it would be nice to have a few more Quality of Life additions, such as the ability to easily toggle if a world will be offline or online when creating it (not local or public, those options exist), as well as fixing the interaction hitboxes on certain things like when planting seeds. Otherwise, an amazing port well worth its money!

The inventory gets buggy after playing for a while. Items snap back to their original slots instead of moving or dropping, which spoils my food when I can't put it in my backpack. It would be awesome if you could add left/right camera rotation buttons below the punch button (like on the map screen). Swiping to turn is hard because you have to stop moving just to rotate the camera. Great game, but this bug makes it difficult. Thanks!

Amazing performance, specially for a port, but there are clear glitches and bugs happening during the gameplay, i'm glad the slow attacks have been fixed but i'm having a lot of problems with planting seeds, since the holes don't get marked, i could be right above the hole and it doesn't show me any option for planting, which makes it way more difficult than it should be, the targeting in the game is a little too confusing, but i think this could be fixed.

I truly love this game — you’ve created something special.❤️ I have a few suggestions for mobile controls: improved target selection logic or more intuitive touch controls, like dragging a boat patch onto a leak to repair it or tapping items to pick them up. Inventory interactions also feel clunky: needing to drop items before using a Sewing Kit, not being able to use potions on Wendy’s Wraith’s Wreath, and no proper way to feed creatures in inventory.

So glad the mobile version is out! It's very fun to play and I think the developers did a great job creating a version of this game that can be played on a phone. Some of the interface is a bit tricky, it would be really nice if there were a bit more options to adjust the controls and move some of the buttons around and things like that. All in all a fantastic game especially for this early into the release!
