About
Brilliant - The Ingenious Roll & Write Game Experience the hit board game from Ravensburger in a whole new dimension! The Brilliant app brings the captivating “roll & write” concept straight to your smartphone or tablet. Whether you’re a seasoned tactician aiming to climb the global rankings or a casual player looking for a quick game on the go, this adaptation delivers everything a dice enthusiast could want. The Game: Brilliantly Simple, Simply Brilliant The core idea remains as ingenious as in the original by Ralf zur Linde: two dice determine the fate of all players. But while the physical board game has everyone marking their sheets with a pen, the app streamlines the gameplay. Your task is to place the rolled numbers strategically on your digital score sheet. The challenge? Each number must be placed orthogonally adjacent to an already filled space. The different colored sections of the board put your skills to the test: where should you place each number? Which values make sense in which areas to secure bonuses early on? The game is a constant balance between risk and safety. App Features at a Glance 1. Global Online Multiplayer Mode Compete against the world! The online mode is the heart of the app. Simultaneous gameplay: No long waits for other players’ turns—everyone plays at the same time using the same dice rolls. Cross-platform: Play with friends no matter what device they’re using. 2. Challenging Solo Mode & AI Opponents Want to refine your strategy? Solo challenges: Try to beat your own high scores across different level sheets. Computer opponents: Face AI players with varying difficulty levels—from “Casual Roller” to “Math Genius”—perfect for preparing for online matches. 3. High Score System & Weekly Challenges The hunt for points never ends. The app offers a deep ranking system: All-time leaderboards: Who will become the ultimate Brilliant master over time? Weekly challenges: A new leaderboard every week lets players worldwide compete head-to-head. It’s not just about luck—perfect placement of the dice determines victory. Who will claim the top spot by week’s end? 4. Achievements & Long-Term Motivation A comprehensive achievement system rewards your progress. Earn accolades for especially efficient moves, completing all levels, or building winning streaks in online play. These achievements aren’t just decorative—they reflect your journey from beginner to expert. 5. Beginner-Friendly: Detailed Rules & Guidance Never played Brilliant before? No problem! The app includes a clear and simple tutorial to get you started quickly. With an intuitive interface and helpful visual cues (such as highlighting valid spaces for your next move), you’ll learn the mechanics within minutes while playing. Why the Digital Version Stands Out The app removes the bookkeeping complexity of the physical game while adding the thrill of global competition. All four original level sheets are fully included, each offering unique challenges that create satisfying strategic depth. The visual design is modern, clean, and perfectly captures the colorful, upbeat style of Ravensburger. Fast loading times and intuitive touch controls ensure every match feels smooth and engaging. Are you ready to place the perfect number in the perfect spot? Download the Brilliant app and show the world that you’re the true master of the dice!
