Card Quest

The "Challenge" so to speak lies almost entirely in the RNG. The game itself is simple, getting constantly stomped into oblivion because the deck is literally stacked against you is just tedious. It's 98% luck and 2% skill

There is almost no room for mistakes in this game. It starts to feel like a math puzzle game where you must have the exact right cards and play them in the exact right order or you lose.

The fact that you need to start over again and again is a boring and hard, especially when you need luck with how you draw your cards, what enemy combinations you get and you have bosses who have immunities to everything.

Each character has many gears(Which determines your deck), and 3 dungeons with different enemies gives many room for experimenting. However, the game is pretty hard. The tutorial is rather difficult to clear, and the details aren't covered so well(At least clarify the effects of certain styles, please?). The game is recommended for people who likes to sit down and think every move, but if you don't like to teach yourself the mechanics for everything, the game isn't for you...

The first tutorial I try is the wizard, and it's soft locked. Your deck has one less point of damage than is required to complete the tutorial. My hopes are not high for balance. The fight leading up to the boss is pretty fun, but the boss doesn't seem fun to fight. Maybe I should play the tutorial.

It's ok until you get bored of redoing an entire run because of a single card move that you didn't mean cos it cast when you were just trying to read the card, or tossed it away when you just wanted to put it back. Even a single undo turn per run would make this an easy 5 star. You made one misstep in the last fight? Start again, and again.. no thanks. Doesn't need to be punishing to still be challenging.

Fun game. Requires thinking and planning ahead. Most low reviews say the game is too hard and the tutorials are impossible. The tutorials are harder than you would expect but teach specific mechanics and how they can be overcome. No wonder people who can't work that out think the game is too hard - you can't just ignore mechanics. Very little happens in the game that you aren't told about. Others complain about having to restart when you die but you can begin halfway if you unlock the stage keys

I can nolonger load the game. It just flashes black. Very good game balance.. but super hard and due to some charge enemies with fury many builds are not viable on some paths if you get unlucky. So you must pick the right build for the right path. Also.. dont burn yourself to death get too drunk or waste strong finishers on dodgers by mistake. There is very limited power creeping via gaining new cards as you go. So Its a luck wall. Just have to get everything right and push for hours.

Amazing! Slay the Spire mixed with Capcom's Tower of Doom. If you can excuse tiny text and bad art, you will find a deep and rewarding card game. It reminds me of the kind of games I would come up with my brother when I was a child. Easily one of the best game available in mobile.

Fantastic game perfect for a plane or stuck on the bus. Auto saves at every action so you can stop immediately wheen real life calls. Huge level of depth, the first equipment is notably worse but evening else after is about synergy rather than better or worse gear. Gear determines your deck make up. There's 4 classes with totally different play styles and even more variety with in each class. Plenty of unlocks and extra challenges give it an amazing value.

The only real problem I had consistently is, if any enemy is far away it's almost impossible to read there stats and info . Other then that it's an awesome game. I'm really glad I got it.

the grind was rewarding this game has great strategy too but it's just way to hard and unrewarding after trying all the characters the ranger was the easiest and that's only if you get the cards you need when you need them to much luck involved make it easier for people who want the story and not the frustration
