I wish there was a time delay between the end of my move and the beginning of computer move, because it would feel much more natural and mindful, to give computer two seconds of thinking time even when it only needs miliseconds. Otherwise, a very good and beautiful chess app, very good indeed. But I do hope you fix this instant response thing because it feels unnatural and unpleasant, that as soon as I move a piece, the computer's piece is also moved.

I'm not terribly good, but I have played this at various levels almost every day for at least 4 years. I can't speak to its engine strength, but it's not annoying and reliable enough.

This is a decent single-player chess game but the engine is a little erratic. I'm around 1000 ELO and I can easily defeat the first three levels. The fourth level is supposedly around 900 ELO. I'm not sure what 5th level is but I've only managed to beat it once. Fourth level is pretty random. Sometimes it plays like an 800 to 1000 rated player and it's competitive. Then I'll go ten games in a row where I might as well be playing Stockfish. Then five in a row where it barely gives me a match.

The UI fails on some basic design rules: don't end multiple menu items with the same word; and don't place sequential UI items in different regions. Its dated look desperately needs a rework, as do many of the boards and sets. some other suggestions: turn down the level one AI a little; add the option to disable statistics; and add control of the perspective angle of the 3D view. -- Wise developers do not place excessive faith in ratings, but improve their products regardless.

Playing with the AI opponent is just all about precision, and this AI engine is relentless. I have the feeling that the AI is constantly learning my habitual moves and pouncing upon them whenever it gets a chance, no matter which level I set it on. The only way for me to win is either to get better or else cheat by constantly taking back the moves, either way I am learning, sight....

After the latest update (4.22) I cannot play the game as I can only see a part of the board, i.e., the board is magnified as if it should 'fit' a larger screen. My phone is a Galaxy A70S. I also cannot roll back the update. Please issue a correction.

great game, I'm only just starting to be able to beat level 12. feature request. the ability to start a game from a review game spot. sometimes id like to be able to return to an early move and see what would have happened if I went another direction. the ability to do so from game review and a particular move would be great practice
