Absolutely amazing BUT. There needs to be a virtual floating and/or fixed joystick option as physically contorting your thumbs to push the shotgun all the way to the extremities of your fov is absolutely awkward. Aiming lead is realistic but control is... heat from my hand in causing NDs when straddling the entire screen to track targets. The concept is real and pure enough to forgive the control idiosyncrasies. Realism is paramount but weird controls don't help. That's why only four stars.

Target miss indicator is bugged or fake

The app is fun, I purchased it a few days ago and it seems to be well built. My biggest complaint is the target miss indicator is not correct. I purposefully shot low right on a clay to see if the indicator would correctly show where my shot landed and it said I was high middle. I then purposefully shot high middle and it said I was high left. Fun app, but I do not like how this feature is wrong.

Very fun game, but when hunting Pigeon you have only 3 min's and for 40 sec's or more of that time there isn't a bird in the sky. Also, why is shooting Ducks so much more difficult to hit then a Pigeon? Apparently according to this game Ducks can't be shot unless you are within 20 ft or so of them. I gave up on trying to shoot Pheasant, after many attempts my best score was only 3. All in all this is a well made game and fun to play.

It is a great game but for 5 DOLLARS I would expect to get the semi-auto for free BUT NO you are FORCED to either share the game with other stupid people who have also spent the 5 dollars OR kill 30 “pigeons” that look more like CROWS THAN PIGEONS which is near impossible, but if it wasn’t for that it would be 5 stars but just that fact alone it gets a 1.

I play this game a lot, but after awhile, playing the same sporting clay courses gets old. It would be cool to see live events on new course’s, maybe a “show me a pair” before shooting each stand. It would be really nice to have a change up. Other than that, I have no complaints..

Love it! Used for newbie trainer!

I am a complete newbie and only shot trap/skeet at a real range once. I only hit two and were far from my friends. I started playing this game and picked up on the speed and angles. Bought for the sporting clays and it is terrible. The controls aren't very customizable and aren't good the way they are so the gameplay is terrible. Again for the sporting clays, there are no sight targets or anything telling you weather it's a true or report pair, so you basically have no idea what the targets will be like and when they are coming or how, it's just frustrating. For a $5 app I expected a while lot more, for FREE I would rate 2 stars.

Clay Hunt Pro

This may very well be the best cell phone game ever made. This game was clearly created by someone with a passion for shotgun sports. The realistic physics, combined with the user customization options create an extremely satisfying experience rivaled only by real life. If you are a dedicated shooter you will be instantly consumed by this game, as it holds me over in between trips to my local club. This is the one and only game that I have on my cell phone and at this point I have no use for my Xbox One. I am truly thankful that I found this game and I can only hope that the creators of this game will continue to add new and creative sporting clays presentations.

I really like this app, but I have a complaint, in the pheasant drive the pheasants aren’t animated(like flapping their wings), I wish there were more shotguns.... like a full auto or 3 round burst, and more animals like deer or rabbits or squirrels, and maybe different ammo types

Not as good as original

The gun mounts way to high and doesn't even come close to "shooting" where it is pointed. The is over exaggerated so it points much further left than my finger if I swing left and much further right if I swing right. The original tracks true and the gun is lined up so "you are looking down the rib". This version has the muzzle way too high.

I thought it was impossible to have skeet simulator in your iPhone that is really working but it is a quick fix for shooters! Very realistic and well done! Hope we can have better graphic and some adjustment for aiming the gun. Game is broken

The game has been broken for about a month (from the time ive noticed) on both my iphone 7 and iphone x. On launch, the game asks for some facebook thing in a notification box and constantly pops up no matter what you press, then the game crashes. Game is great tho, would definitely recommend some sort of way for map creators or something to design new courses or have a way to download them so we’re not playing the same ones over and over again.

I absolutely love the game would rate 5 stars based solely on playability and performance, i like being able to shoot international trap and skeet and absolutely love the sporting clays, but in real life i dont shoot international trap or skeet i shoot American trap and American skeet and if both of those make an appearance in the game in the near future that would get my 5 star rating

Fun, but I have a suggestion

This is a fun app and about as realistic as you can expect trying to simulate shooting on a phone. Nonetheless it could be better. Suggestion 1: allow an option to practice shooting one target presentation repeatedly. There are a couple stations I have trouble with. It would be helpful to work on them without having to shoot the entire round. Suggestion 2: the brief screen shot showing where your shot was placed is a bit too brief. And as near as I can tell does not necessarily show where your shot was relative to the direction of the target. It seems this always shows shots relative to a target moving left to right. So if the target is moving right to left and you miss ahead, the screen shows you shot to the right of the target, which I would interpret as being behind. This is complicated more with springing teals. And a note: I am not convinced that the lead required at Station 4 on the skeet is representative of what I see in reality. You do have to be in front, but I have recorded hits in this game that I am pretty sure I would have missed in the field.

Guns

Overall the game is outstanding! Just a suggestion would be to add an option to use a different gun for different situations. Such as the duck hunt and the pigeon hunt. Also maybe a choke selection? Otherwise the game is awesome!! UPDATED The update is great! The semi auto is awesome! Wish you could use the double barrels for the bird hunting thought. Overall game is still outstanding!! NEWEST UPDATE Pheasant drive is awesome! I’m having some issue with it trying to log into Facebook during any game play. Even after I verify it, it goes back to try to load Facebook.

Updated review- whereas the review below still stands as far as playability, I have to deduct 2 stars for the fact that if I want a side by side gun or other perks, I have to have a facebook account. I dont facebook and should not be penalized for not facebooking, which seems to be the latest ridiculous app trend. Almost going to delete for this.... Without question the best clay simulator anywhere. No other comes close. A sheer joy to play. Would like to see it expand to offer sporting clays someday and/or 5 stand. Perhaps even FITASC!! Meanwhile, this will do just perfectly for now. Thanks for a truly enjoyable experience!

Rabbit and deer?

Awesome game! Really love the realistic sporting clays. Just a suggestion but it would be fantastic if there was rabbit hunting like the bird hunting and maybe like a deer drive with buckshot? Other than that one of the best games I've played yet!

Excellent but.... has a couple of very annoying bugs

First off: The gun will randomly fire (or pull) if your aiming thumb is too close to the firing side of the screen..... very annoying 👎👎 Second: My phone brightness will randomly start dimming for some unknown reason (only when I play this game) and will not go back to normal unless I restart my phone. It has been like this ever since I originally installed this game and still hasn’t been addressed.......... that is EXTREMELY IRRITATING!!!! Please fix!!! P.s. Hope you’re working on those gyroscopic controls we talked about.
