I wanted a bunch of crossword puzzles with a useable interface and no ads for the cost of a book of crosswords from a railway station news agents. This app fits the bill perfectly.

Fantastic crossword game, especially if you struggle with newspaper crossword puzzles. Most words are well known. I still have to use the reveal letter help, but I can get about half the words without hints. I just wish the reveal letter hint was a single tap button above the puzzle instead of having to go through the menu.

Overall it's quite good. My only complaint is that some of the clues are nonsensical. This could be that the app seems to have been developed in the UK as there are quite a few British slang answers and the extra "u" is some words.

I wanted a no ads, no non-sense crossword app, and I got one. Almost seventy puzzles in and having a good time. My only issue is there is a noticeable number of British origin/usage words that I've never heard of. The British slang is usually noted as such, so I know I'm probably going to have to look it up in the end, but not the non-slang which I just kind of bang my head against. Owell, expand my vocabulary I guess.
