Culture Coded: The Card Table

About

The games we grew up on, dealt the way we play them. Culture Coded: The Card Table brings four card games to your phone: partnership Spades, Bid Whist, Tonk, and Solitaire. Solitaire never closes, and Spades deals a new free table every day, the same one everyone else in the world gets. Bid Whist and Tonk open with Pro. NORMA JEAN PLAYS ON YOUR SIDE She taught these games. In this app she's your partner at Spades and Bid Whist, seated across from you, never against you. She doesn't say much, when she does, it's worth hearing. FOUR GAMES, PLAYED RIGHT • Spades, partnership Spades to 500, with nil, bags, and a heuristic AI that knows the table manners: it won't cut your partner's winning trick, it covers a nil, and it stops reaching for books once your bid is made. • Bid Whist, the full 54-card game with both jokers, the kitty, and uptown/downtown/no-trump bidding. Built properly, the way almost nobody else bothers to. • Tonk, five-card hands, quick turns, drop when you dare. Dealt a 49 or 50 and it's a tonk: double win, right there. • Solitaire, Klondike, draw one or draw three, undo as much as you like. The one game here with no opponent. Free every day, no limit, always. THE DAILY TABLE Solitaire never closes, and Spades deals one new game a day free, the same deal for everyone. Bid Whist and Tonk are Pro tables. Pro opens Spades' table all night too. ONE SUBSCRIPTION, THE WHOLE SUITE Culture Coded Pro isn't just for this app. Buy it once and it opens every table here and the full puzzle archive in Culture Coded Puzzles & Trivia (word searches, cryptograms, and trivia), the first app in the series. Already subscribed there? You're covered here automatically the moment you open this app, no sign-in required. PLAY AND SHARE Every finished game gives you a spoiler-free score card to send your people: the bid, who made it, the final tally. No cards shown, no answers given away. No account needed to play. Linking an email is optional, and only matters if you want your Pro and your Crew to follow you onto a new phone. Culture Coded is a work of BLK Society. Built by us.
