The matchmaking is insanely lopsided and players who pay to win crush normal players. The devs also are clearly a bunch of men obsessed with cute girls so Rinoa/Terra get endless buffs while Sephiroth is left for dead with no real passive at all. Please stop making this game with one hand and actually be fair.

Huge FF fan. It’s nice to see a lot of my favorites joining the fray. Mostly all the characters are viable to shine in some way in battle. Its nice that there is no “best” character. The game is fast paced and fun and it scratches a collectors itch by providing you with plenty of resources to bolster your characters and abilities. Sure, there are overpowered whales but even with the occasional whale encounter I still find myself loving the game and hopping on it daily .
- egghead773 · v1.7.0
Been playing since Day 1, and it’s only been going downhill. The controls are still bad. PvP is unbalanced. Matchmaking is terrible, you’ll always end up facing the same team that are stronger than you who are planning the match out on Discord. Everything has been gatchafied, outfits, abilities, medals, characters. But what’s worse than all of it, is that the game has been stuck in a repetitive formulaic pattern of making everything limited time only. So if you miss getting a character or ability, then you lost your only chance of ever catching up to the rest of the whales who bought all the game breaking abilities. It’s gotten so bad that they ran 4 gatcha banners at the same thing and all were limited time. It’s so aggravating, and just no longer fun. It feels like work just keeping up with daily missions that could take multiple hours.
- RoarkThePathfinder · v1.6.0
They don’t listen to player feedback. The matching system of this game is an issue that needs to be fixed for several months now and they do nothing.
- Gabiu · v1.6.0
Fun game for life long final fantasy players!
- Wycourt · v1.6.0
The mechanics are similar to Final Fantasy series like FFVII and FFXVI. The game makes a little nostalgia about characters but characters like from original Final Fantasy 1 are Remake Styled (Light Warrior, Farron and anyone from same series) About new abilities in future: anyone would like to have a parry attack, materia from FFVII (but I think we already have em) Minuses: everyone knows Burst Attack, and when you activate it you can attack the boss but if you don’t the time is unlimited if you don’t use abilities (so basically you can defeat enemies with 2 or 5 hits!) that’s cheating cause you can’t survive or defeat the people who haves it activated Pluses: game has 60fps and 5 level of graphics (I don’t know if it’s HD or HDR cause this game doesn’t really explained it in settings) and one of the big pluses is that you can have iconic ability’s for characters Thanks for reading

Not really a big fan of how this game turned out to be. I played it since release and it’s just..weird, The story of it I mean. I’m not sure what the goal was of this new DISSIDIA but it’s just not for me, I know others enjoy it though and that’s great. I was just expecting something more like a mix of the original PSP DISSIDIA and the mobile Opera Omnia version.
- Dauntless Ghoul · v1.6.0
They transcribed them very well. I also love the clothing designs for the game. Very fresh, not overwhelming, overall fun and clean.
- MotherandAsun · v1.6.0
I have personally been enjoying the gameplay loop. It looks very pretty and plays well once you understand the game mechanics however I do not enjoy the monetary system. I will most likely only put in the $20 that I felt the game deserved but I will not put in anymore unless it is for a character that I really really want. It is difficult to get power in this game without paying for it and that I don’t agree.
- thatguyfuy · v1.6.0
Got into the game because I love FFX and Tidus especially, but while the tutorial seems a bit lackluster, the game itself is pretty straightforward and fun thanks to the clashing of playstyles in pvp. When I heard it’s Mainly pvp, I was worried about gacha elements making things lopsided, but there being a cap on levels and consequently stats with each rank does away with most of my worries. A casual player will be reasonably rewarded with consistent play and the learning curve isn’t terribly steep. Meanwhile hardcore players that invest A Lot of time and money will primarily be the ones up top but I think that’s to be expected. But even for a casual player there’s many opportunities to gain high rarity skills that aren’t gatekept by the gacha. Every battle will give you a chance to gain a UR skill, which is a plus to any casual player. I’ve lost the time and energy to engage in most gachas so this is just my speed. I’m a big fan of the FF characters getting to just hang out, but I do wish there were a lot more opportunities for them to visualize things like Cloud taking classes or Tidus attending modern real world sports games. Maybe not as full cutscenes but maybe special illustrations that could serve as new skills down the line. The FINE conversations are still delightful at least! I hope this game does well enough to expand a bit!! I’m having lots of fun with it and I’d love to see it grow and learn!

as much as i wanted to like this game, it’s such an obvious cash grab. i wouldn’t suggest wasting your time on installing this game because it’s heavily reliant on the gacha system and the gameplay is very repetitive. you can only level up abilities through the gacha system so if you wanted to be f2p on this game then good luck. the game isnt really generous either, it essentially punishes you for not spending money. the less pulls you have, the weaker your characters aka pay to win. i guess they did try to fix the issue by allowing UR abilities to be unlocked in challenges, but you need at least ~20K power. as someone’s who’s f2p, it will take forever to reach that kind of power. for gameplay, its only ranked, casual, and challenges, but its all basically the same thing. a fun spin on the game could’ve been event modes where there are unique kinds of gameplay. for example, an all out brawl game mode or protect your teams crystal (think of LOL.) of course, there’s no love put into the game so these modes aren’t a thing. honestly, i just find it disappointing because i love how the characters look, and it was enjoyable when it was a close game. however, 99% of the time its just one team being completely overpowered. not to mention, making final fantasy characters like sephiroth and tidus limited is absolutely ridiculous. cloud and rikku are characters from the same games, what makes them different?? if they were crossover characters, i would understand but these are iconic characters from final fantasy games. why make them limited if they’re apart of the franchise and have appeared as permanent characters in prior dissidia games?? it’s bad enough that it’s been months since release and there’s still a small roster. the game has potential, but i have no doubt that this game will be getting an EOS by next year. if you do decide to play this game and “enjoy it”, be ready to spend money and don’t expect a lot.
- tokkyuo · v1.6.0
They not only take too long but never end
- Cjlezc · v1.6.0
Let me preface this by saying I don’t mind buying a season pass monthly but limiting F2P players to THREE out of six crystal slots is insane. Not sure why we are in this era of extreme cheapness with switch 2 re-releases being full price and penny pinching gachas worse than usual.
- BNQ21 · v1.6.0
Put in hours of grinding and real money just to not get the costume I wanted with 60+ draws. Uninstalling until more ffiv characters are added 👎
- XZANIOUS · v1.5.1
I would be honored if you would read this and add a story mode. Great job on the game. It’s my favorite I pad game
- Wolfgamer7 YT · v1.5.1
You guys keep creating new mobile games and then users have errors. Cant even get a match going anymore. Get your devs in gear
- AngealKai · v1.5.1
This game was ok when it first launched but it's almost impossible to get character tickets even ability tickets cause this game is so stingy the free to play login rewards are garbage I had to spend money just to pull the new Titus unit shouldn't have to spend 8 dollars to get one character it's absurd dole out some better rewards or make the paid passes last longer than a week jerks
- screwbandai23454 · v1.5.1
Great game
- Yakkel · v1.5.1
This abomination has no right to exist as an official Squeenix release. The gameplay gets old REAL FAST, it’s primarily pay-to-win, and the story is worse than someone’s fan fic. It’s an insult to the Dissidia name and should be sacrificed on the dumpster fire with the rest of the mobile slop SE has tried to convince us isn’t terrible over the years, like All The Bravest and The First Soldier. May it languish in silence and die without a whisper.
- B.J.X · v1.5.1
Been a faithful fan of this series since its conception for the PSP platform. Very fun, surprisingly great combat mechanics for a mobile format. The reasons I’m not giving it a 5 stars are the pay-for-win aspects of stacking skills stats which you draw at random; and the small roster. It needs more antagonists there. Glad they put a bit more love into the story mode, compared to NT days. Still mourning that one.
- Arixom · v1.5.1

- SensitiveQTR · v1.5.0
Such a good game aye! Wish they would bring in Vivi though…
- Cheto694 · v1.5.0
Before playing, be aware that Square Enix will cancel this game within the next couple of years, and you cant get back any of the time or money you spent playing this game. Company is notorious for killing their mobile games. Play at your own risk.
- BeyondCynicism · v1.5.0
I had a decent time with the game even if it was P2W, but after coming back with Sephiroth? Unplayable. The fact that you have a character that forces you to use your UR ( which have abysmal cooldowns),team wipe the entire map, if you survive you are stunned for 5s and low health. It is egregious. I’m a decent player but I hate being forced into playing his way.
- Neosaber123 · v1.5.0
The characters are easy to get in to. I love the competitive aspect!
- So_ToRn · v1.5.0
It’s fun! I think it takes time finding who plays best for you. I just hope movement works better for characters like prompts where placement is key
- Sentinei76 · v1.5.0
It’s not bad , but it’s a good jump in game. Late game is for whales as they don’t give much free in game currency or ways to unlock abilities for characters you like.
- Last hatter · v1.5.0
Honestly I love pretty much all final fantasy games. But slow loading times regardless if you’re on WiFi or not. Very few character draw cards. I would’ve much prefer a 2D game with og sprites meeting in a new world vrs this 3d rank game. That being said once in a game the combat is fun for the most part and being able to change out characters abilities does add a nice twist to the game. However if you’re looking for a fun Final Fantasy game experience to play on your phone I recommend playing Final Fantasy 1-9 that can be purchased on iOS. P.S I only know that those games are there because this game bored me.
- Unlucky Incorporate · v1.5.0
I’m excited and extremely proud to have this on my phone. Can’t wait for more updates and characters to release!
- ReddGarcia · v1.5.0
This game is really fun. As always the gacha is annoying but it’s not as bad as others, I got my favorite characters and their abilities pretty easily with just the free beginner gachas. The crystal system for abilities is fine. And I hope they add more features, overall it’s a good thrity minutes every day not something you could play for much longer though.
- kidhfksjhf · v1.5.0
I have all the prior dissidia on psp & ps4, so playing on mobile is a little disorienting. Mechanics are basically the same. Worst part for me is moving and turning the camera, but I know it’s basic because it’s a mobile game. Yet if you like ff and the dissidia games then I think you should def give it a try
- MegaRooX2 · v1.5.0
At launch, everything was still balanced and fair between f2p, light spenders vs whales. But now that we are heading to season 4, the gap can be felt greatly. The game favors whales more than skills. It doesnt matter if youre smart or skillful, people with the highest cp will win because they can just one shot you. The game will queue you against people from 5k to even 20+k power difference in rank whether its solo, duo or as a party. If not, the game will queue you with those that are just not the best players of this game that you will just lose. What makes it worst is people intentionally sabotaging you with their alts at diamond rank or lower by intentionally feeding and never bursting. It was very promising and the game is fun but if you plan to be competitive you have to be ready to spend thousands of dollars if you want your cp to handle whales. To add, it doesn’t matter if you hoards as f2p, the game will drop more sr’s than urs and the rates are terrible (and you need MULTIPLE copies of the URS to even be relevant due to the CP system). The featured people on their banner only has a special rate up on the pity not the regular pulls. On the sephiroth banner however, the guaranteed isnt even his UR and he is just a limited run. 🤷♀️ If you also value mental health, this game is not for you. Many dedicated players have crashed out terribly especially on season 3 of this game since developers decided to remove guard rails on the tier adding more into all the players’ frustrations. It was fun but it has been disheartening and mentally exhausting to those people that really wanted to play this game.
- Jory014 · v1.5.0
Games suffers from multiple problems. Two major ones are the matchmaking and the option for people to use “auto” in ranked. Both of these issues cause a lot of one sided matches. Sometimes you will get matches where the difference in power is 10s of thousands making it almost impossible to win. Other times you have people using “auto” running in to feed enemy team. Would NOT recommend this game until both of these issues are fixed
- Specter99999 · v1.4.4
Fix controller support
- Not 3-D · v1.4.4
As a beginner in Silver, Gold, and Diamond rank, you get placed into matches with the worst bots as teammates while you face whale players who overpower you with p2w stats. The new player count must be in the gutter if I’m consistently getting the same few bots/botters every ranked match. People abuse the “Auto” afk feature and ruin the game for their teammates. Stay away from this steaming pile of garbage.
- Vir Aliqui · v1.4.4
Waiting on Tifa to be playable
- ReaFafnir · v1.4.4
The game is in an awkward state where it offers a little to nothing to the actual player other than a PVP mode. It’s very sparse and you’ll find it very difficult to get matched in a game. It also has a problem with monetization and the fact that a lot of its banners have a pity system that doesn’t let you choose that you are or the item that you’d like forcing you to dip in your wallet multiple times just for a chance to progress a lot of it systems feel unfinished and rushed just to get money, but I’m hoping that in the future this game will be something worth actually playing, but in the currently I cannot recommend it to anyone
- De-Ryke · v1.4.4
How do you make a pretty fun game and amazing graphics with no horizontal play angle. Why is everything vertical?
- Legendary Cruz · v1.4.4
Love this game! Need more tutorials for advanced techniques for different characters but either way solid game
- Marquisdbeast · v1.4.4
I love the game I always love final fantasy games and being able to play with them in a dissidia mobile style game is awesome my only complaint is how much I dislike the pvp aspect of the game and although the co-op is pretty cool I don’t see the point of collecting the other characters if I can’t use them for my own solo adventuring play style I much rather prefer the older DISSIDIA mobile game. Overall it’s still an entertaining game I just don’t really see myself playing it for long because I’m personally not into pvp games. I reiterate I absolutely despise pvp style games I just like Final Fantasy I just truly don’t like that it’s a pvp style game everything else is good.
- Lightbringer01 · v1.4.4
I love Square, and Final Fantasy. But I can’t play this game without my character being so difficult to control. They move in a different direction from where i try to get them to move, and the combat system is bad. Bring back Opera Omnia please🙏
- 0Starlight0 · v1.4.4
No story mode. Casual is your best bet. Ranked matches are horrendous, unless your P2W and team match making is unbalanced, so I suggest having your own friends/teammates if you plan on ranking up. Don’t think I’ll be playing again.
- iKickyoKnee · v1.4.4
Enjoying this game so far. The gacha system is a little crazy; but it’s still pretty early. I really hope they continue to make improvements and additions.
- Solidor J · v1.4.4
I miss Opera Omnia. That’s the kind of Dissidia game that I enjoy on the go. Maybe even more of the pixel remaster art style. This action seems boring and the game is bloated for what you do. Even playing an action Dissidia, it could be more fun with more of classic Dissidia battles.
- Curtis R. Shideler · v1.4.4

- The grind is real!!!! · v1.4.4
I have been playing this game non stop since I downloaded it I just can’t get enough of it from the gameplay to drawing for good ability’s it’s just an all around fun game
- Terrance2121 · v1.4.4
It’s fun at first until you realize how limited the gameplay loop really is. Same map, same 3 v 3 with people running the same comps. It’s fun for a bit but if you’re looking for a modern gacha or even just DISSIDIA mobile this is— rough. It looks and runs great though and the music is good.
- Kaeliblak · v1.4.4
While incredibly simplified, the animations, character playstyles, and music are nostalgia inducing. I chose lightning at the start, for the nostalgia, and it was incredible seeing those signature attacks in such high quality. 9.97/10 (give me more draw tickets)
- HonestReviews~~ · v1.4.4
I reached Silver rank recently with my boy Kain and I’ve been having a really good time playing casually. Here’s to hoping the game lasts a decent bit. I know how Square Enix is with their mobile games. Be cautious and know this game could disappear within a year if you intend to spend money.
