This game is waaaaay to laggy even on the lowest graphics settings, every action causes stutters and hiccups that make the game just unplayable. I was hoping the Niantic buyout was going to help improve this game but it remained the same for the full year I was gone from playing. I love the franchise but I feel Capcom could have done better on their own making this and I hope Outlanders turns out better when it releases.

It's very fun, even more fun than Pokemon GO in my personal opinion. Combat is nice and fluid, and there's a handful of customizations, both for battles and for fashion. Only problems tend to be consistent freezes, lags and crashes.

Bases are still so limited. I'm the only player in my whole city and I've explored all around my city and I still don't understand how a base is created. Please change the way bases are made and governed. I'd suggest making a guild/clan like system of 12 people so that they all can participate in base defence and it would be a positive change for those that can't play it.

Im not sure the developer's will see this but one thing I just hope to see is a full mounted reacting armor 🙏🏻 A section where you can unlock new pets would be awesome. This game tho is absolutely brilliant and im looking forward to what they do with it. 👏

Fun game, but after 3 years it still feels like it’s missing too much of what makes Monster Hunter special. The Felyne is basically just a mascot/resource collector and can’t join hunts. There’s also little reason to play outside big events, with few meaningful daily rewards or progression. More daily incentives, Hunter Rank progression, and classic Monster Hunter features would give players more reason to come back.

I absolutely love this game, it's Pokémon Go for more hardcore/mature gamers. The reason why I currently only give it 3/5 stars is that you cannot play while moving faster than 15mph... This leaves people who ride public transport or who play while somebody else is driving unable to do anything, less than if I were sitting still in fact. They reallyyy need to add a confirmation if you're going over that speed that you aren't driving to continue,like they do in Pokémon Go.

If you enjoy being struck by invisible hitboxes extending well beyond the range of the monster's graphical representation, and that Customer Support admitted this is an intentional feature as monster difficulty goes up, then this game is for you! the mechanics in this game are far too unfair. limited mobility and drastically slower than monsters cause you to burn potions for rewards that dont match whatsoever. you cant have monsters doing instant attacks or wide range attacks that will one shot you and expect a player not to feel cheated. ive drastically slowed down on my play time and getting close to just calling it quits. not worth it at all. Certainly doesnt deserve my money. $20 for an outfit, a sticker and a pose? What a joke

Played it at launch, had fun but ultimately stopped playing. Picked it back up about a month ago and they have fixed and added so much to the game! It's way easier to hunt what you want and the events seem pretty generous as well with weapons and materials. It's in a really good spot now, great game

It's been months and they still haven't fixed the issue with bases. I'd have to drive an hour just to get to a base. Even on the forums, where thousands of users have pointed out the problem, it's pointed out that some countries don't even have a base in their capital city. No matter how many times it's reported, all I get is 'we've heard your feedback', as demonstrated here. Especially since a couple of questlines have required people to go to bases. Once is an accident, twice is insulting.

I personally play this game a lot, and I have a BIG issue with potion availability. you get 5 free potions a day, anything else you have to PAY for. Too much content requiring access to locations too far away. Game has always required access to nodes based on real world locations for all features, but they are gradually making more and more content requiring access to limited number of locations without ensuring all hunters have reasonable access. If you are willing to ignore features requiring bases (usually I am) this is a great game. But when weekly event tasks require access to get past round 2 of 7, that is too restrictive.

The Summer Hunt 2026 Pass is locked behind Linked Raids. As a solo player, I'm stuck at 2/7 with no way to progress. For a paid event, this sucks. Not everyone has an active local community or raid group. There should be a solo-friendly alternative. Chat Support confirmed that inactive friends will disappear and be hidden on the MHN friend list. How can we be expected to manage our friend list?? The Niantic friend list does not have a scroll bar, and clicking into an account to view it then returning back to the list brings me back to the top of the list. It is near-impossible to manage a list of 600+ people. This needs to be remedied.

Amazing experience, rewarding weapon upgrades and the armour sets where you can mish mash parts of your armour parts to get the effect and LOOKS you want where you can look like an absolute viking or a silly OP lil guy. I say OP but higher difficulties are still challenging and many monsters adapt to your strenght. The only thing is they only let you stack 10 potions at best every 2 days. Once that is over you are just stuck fighting minions. I believe that daily we should get 10 potions

Super predatory monetization. Heal items are paid only, you get 5 free daily, but then there are monsters that easily burn half of them. Either balance monsters attacks/hitboxes or give more ways to get potions, even small amounts (crafting, rewards, ig currency, whatever).

there are no base defences in my area in a 10 mile radius I have plenty of battle points to participate in but no base defences. how does this one rectify this? without travelling 10 miles seriously Devs please update and put base defenses in more areas 😭

Pro: Visuals, monsters and weapon design are great. Frequent high quality updates. No ads Cons: Monetization is all over the show. No way to earn premium currency, and levels are pointless after the first dozen or so. Time limit for hunts is tiny. The game itself still is running better lately but connection is still very problematic. The slightest deviation from perfect connection and the game says nope, even at the complete screen, which is abysmal for a walking/gps based game

edit 7/17//26: I love it, but the avatar items for gems are insanely overpriced. In addition to the overpriced avatar pieces, now there are exclusive poses and stickers locked in vastly overpriced bundles. At least pokemon go allows you to earn coins to get premium stuff. I am begging you: PLEASE FIX LOCK ON! It wastes so much time to select a part and many times if you faint it's almost impossible to lock on again. lastly as of a few updates ago, lock on seems to lock on to other parts.

Very fun game, but unplayable on public transit of any kind. I ride a bus for work a lot as a bus monitor, and i pass so many things that could be hunted or collected, but just because I'm in a vehicle, the game stops everything from being interactable. it's very annoying.
