Humanity is enslaved by an AI… which is awesome, because we’re on right side!
Humanity is enslaved by an AI… which is awesome, because we’re on the right side of the conflict. Exploit puny humans to extract power and build your own empire! You’ll have to keep track of them to make sure they don’t succumb to exhaustion and hunger… although the weakest ones can always be thrown to the Bioreactor. In other words, this is a indie resource management sim with rogue-lite elements, dramatic plot, and an abundance of pop culture references. Also, humor. Slaughter has never been so fun! Key features: 1) Humor as dark as your ex’s heart. Immerse yourself in the life of a merciless tyrant!! 2) Resource management on steroids. Think fast, to the point, and abandon pity! 3) Rogue-lite (Almost roguelike) Every walkthrough is unique due to randomly generated events. And every failure is fatal — you’ll have to start over! 4) Easy to learn, hard to master. It only takes a couple minutes to figure out the game’s mechanics, but using them optimally is no small feat! Core gameplay consists of transporting puny humans between various facilities using mechanical claws. They rest in one of the facilities and work in all the others. Puny humans are to produce energy for us (which is leaking constantly), they also have to reproduce and feed themselves. You need to plan your strategy and tactics in advance and track all your humans so that they don't die of exhaustion. The foremost roguelike element is that you can't save the game - you have to start from scratch every time. Besides that, a random event happens after every five feedings in the form of a text quest. A correct choice may provide some bonus, an incorrect one - well, you'll see! Many of the modifiers that you get due to the random events change the game's look significantly. In the second campaign besides resource management you get a totally new "raid" mechanic. Send your humans on expeditions around a procedurally generated map and earn resources without any limits. Come on, you have to find the Time Machine lost in the wastelands of 3k-land!

don't waste time or money. even using Google methods from people who have beaten the game somehow it's all unnecessarily randomly hard. its very very very very very difficult to last a few minutes. the power draw issue makes no sense. even if you don't upgrade specific things and only other specific things you defeat. don't upgrade at all, defeat. upgrade one thing to focus on power, defeat. only move arms limited? still defeat. POWER, DRAW, MAKES, NO, SENSE
- Jay P
Pointless and uninteresting in my opinion, just guess the algorithm. To be fair, it's a mobile game, I expect Incredibly basic gameplay. Buy its not enriched by the theme.
- Nathanael Cotton · v1.2.32
ah... regrettable play experience.
- River Eddy · v1.2.32
Love the game but its sooo hard 😭
- Elias Romero · v1.2.32
I'm inclined to agree with several reviews that this game has roughly only one path to victory that requires you to figure out the exact strategy the dev intended and memorize which events are bad. I also don't like this drag up/down to send remove units, and the button version is too small to for mobile. Maybe if this had a slow mode so I can think and stuff I'd be less annoyed. I'll keep trying though. I wishlisted on steam to see if pc version may be better.
- Vas Vadum · v1.2.32
This looks like a very poorly made game. I played it using play pass and I still do not think it's worth it. It's unintuitive and difficult to manage. But not difficult in a gaming sense but rather it's just poorly designed. Even the initial intro campaign is pretty messy and events as already mentioned could make or break your run instead of any actual gameplay
- Vivek Tiwari · v1.2.32
do you reply back?
- Sprout Seedly · v1.2.32
I had this game on the Switch and loved it. Unfortunately, after the digital game cards update, all games purchased by my mother on the switch became unplayable, including Despotism 3k. Now I can play it again! I'm still bad at it, though... =w= The game is very fun, though quite challenging. This game was released before Despot's Game and both games were made by the same developer, but the the latter was published by tinyGames after they bought Konfa Games.
- Nova Consumer · v1.2.32
this game sucks too hard for no reason
- Lilly noel
Really good game. I do love how the chip (I think that's what the screen guy is called) says things randomly (and probably curses in binary) My only complaint is that there's no automation. I'm not far into the game so maybe this is there but I haven't found it yet. Either way, I NEED TO PUT PUNY HUMANS INTO THE BIOREACTOR WITHOUT TAPPING OR SWIPING I WANT A STEADY STREAM Other than that, awesome game!
- Sawyer Kinder · v1.2.32
Might just be me, but it's actually quite difficult/challenging - which I love. great game and artstyle, and I like the random events too
- Antwon · v1.2.32
Perhaps it's not you, it's me. I guess I just don't understand how to play this properly.
- Idi Reina
ok this is an interesting game, I like it, but can you update it so that it fits my screen? The game seems to have the ratio of older phones
- Derelict _ · v1.2.32
the game is quite challenging, it's not impossible. if you expect to win your first couple runs, your probably gonna get frustrated. After a lot of attempts you understand how to manage energy and upgrades, then eventually you can solve every event, and slightly further along you can put everything you learn together and make it to the end. don't expect to win your first round, don't expect it to take a evening. a few attempts every day and you'll get there.
- Logan Night · v1.2.32
Addictive but also frustrating. You must memorize everything, but many of the options don't make any sense and so it's just random and can ruin an otherwise perfect run.
- Qwerty Qwerty · v1.2.31
Difficulty for the sake of difficulty

Can't get a refund. Thought I'd like this game, but it's not for me. I'm too casual
- Daniel Lott
This game was very well done. I *mostly* liked the strategy and such, extra gamemodes and especially the art style. The game though was very difficult not impossible though i see how people may think it is, the events are very retarted and confusing for most people and the events you want may never show up, just negatives. Also you needed to be perfect in upgrading your machines, safe to say it was very difficult but with enough effort and the other gamemodes I completed... 1 campaign.
- Bradley Hill · v1.2.28
yo please add more permanent upgrade please, it should be rogue-like game, and be stronger in each revival
- Hoàng Ngô Nguyễn Minh
love it,need a little bit of luck to get a good starter modifier and u can make a chaos and enslave human ofc
- Vicko Raya · v1.2.31
I've bought and played Despot's Game on my previous phone long ago. I'm a big fan! I love the creativity, style, humour and absolutely everything about it. However, apparently I'm unable to download the other app (Despot's Game) on my Samsung A51. Could you please fix it? Love from Turkiye.
- 安仁Knight · v1.2.31
To be Honest this Game is awesome. I mean this is reality game not that way it is but if we look around in 2023-2025 humans are enslaved by AI. This game is about humanity is running by the Ai and now in present its happening. Literally everything done by the Ai. Absolutely fun Game and great theme behind it ❤️❤️
- Munib Arshad
not my cup of tea
- Sam Flame King
unnecessarily hard and difficult on both default and easy difficulties. The only thing going for it is the art. Also is practically just a clicker game. The other reviews seem to agree so it's definitely not a personal issue. It's hard to get past even a few days. Fix it.
- Mrshallows12 · v1.2.31
2022 The game doesn't start after the recent update . Pls tell fix :( Nice game otherwise Edit:Thx a lot developer :) 2025 reinstalled it its so fun even though rng screws me and I rarely if ever win , though still fun and the dialogue is witty
- Krishiv · v1.2.31
frustrating, not fun
- Josh Arenstam · v1.2.31
difficulty needs a bit of balancing. hard to get the sweetspot, 21 k IDR is a good deal.
- Denny Lukman · v1.2.31
SUGGESTIVE AS HECK please 😭
- Jonah Arndt
One of the best games that i have ever played on Android platform. Thank you dev for not ruining it with micro transactions and doing typical mobile gaming shenanigans!! edit: game isnt running on full screen! in latest update kindly help
- Anandha Krishnan H · v1.2.31
The developer's response to another reviewer basically said "skill issue, git gud" instead of acknowledging the possibility that events weren't balanced. So I downloaded this game just so I could leave a review saying... Be humble. Edit: Well, once you succeed in being witty, I'll give you another star.
- NotMy RealName · v1.2.29
This game does not work on mobile phones. It looks like an interesting game, but unfortunately I cannot try it. I have a Pixel 8 Pro. Edit: All fixed! Fun game now that I can play it.
- Autumn Fredericksen · v1.2.31
I really liked the concept of Artificial Intelligence to inslave humans 5 stars for me
- Can I KissYou · v1.2.31
Aftercare update all progress was lost and I have to restart from scratch, this seems to be a common problem other than that game was great
- Matthew Baker
I really want to like this game, truly. I'm a fan of games where you just feel like you're running into a wall until you figure it out. But for some reason, the game glitched and I lost all of my chips and progress, which might put me off playing it again.
- Fortuna Jade · v1.2.31
Edit: issue fixed! Will give real review soon Edit: Same issue 02/04/2025 Unfortunately the game is unplayable. I just installed it and after starting a new game it's got massively bars on the top and bottom. The game is scrunched.
- Jakov Grams · v1.2.31
Screen is too stretched to play edit they fixed it
- the Galaxy gamer29 · v1.2.29
I had rated 1 star because of an issue with the screen size, resolution was weirdly unplayable. Other than that the game is a 5 star. It would be 6 now if possible because of the developer. Took the dev a while to fix, but he did fix it, and even left a comment on my review to let me know that it was fixed. Ok top of an amazing game, amazing dev that cares. I know you are most likely very busy, so thank you!
- Eduardo Soto · v1.2.31
Zoomed out and stretched I can't see a thing unplayable:(
- Collin
Back to 5, resolution issue fixed. The issue was apparently linked to newer phones - mine is old enough to start school so it wasn't that, but fixed still. Thank you.
- Matthew M · v1.2.31
Thank you Cardinal. Hooray, I can torture puny humans again. I am thrilled beyond belief. Just glad the repairman came through. I'd like to see a Despotism 4k. Planting a seed 😉😉 Ok, gotta get back to my fav game. Great Humor, Love it. Very Challenging. More like this please.
- Tiffany C · v1.2.31
The main menu looks fine but the game itself is in what looks like a 1:10 aspect ratio. It didn't seem to accept any inputs either once the game starts. Completely unplayable.
- Tyler MacGregor
It's cool, but it wasn't enough to hold my attention for more than 3 retries.
- Charles Peck
visual glitch makes this unplayable from the start. the image is squashed down to be 1/4 of the height of the screen. stretch does not change anything.
- Vincent Bern · v1.2.29
I made puny humans work for me, got turned into a grill, got out, started over, turned into a grill, started over, and it's currently going well. No humans rebel- Ah for god's sake, Jerry. Meet the bioreactor.
- Shana Chang · v1.2.29
Unable to play. The game is "squashed" in the middle screen. Playing on Google pixel
- Steve Passmore · v1.2.29
Just crashes
- N C
To frustrating and hard. The art style and humor is nice.
- Steve · v1.2.29
completely unplayable, game works on menu but when you start it goes into a crazy wide resolution that makes it impossible to see/play
- Mr. Final · v1.2.29
Can't use the app. It stretches screen so small that it is super thin with large black rectangles on top and bottom. Very sad
- Eric Abla · v1.2.29
I played this game a long time ago. It is fun, and I would not describe it as hard. Rather the game suffers from extreme localization issues. The "jokes" don't translate and the developer, even in the comments of reviews, has a very specific type of 'humor.' Really this game is fine, not worth buying but with playpass try it for yourself and see why they have soo many 1 star reviews.
- Aaron Matthews · v1.2.25
Game is absolutely broke. Looks like a resolution issue one you actually start a campaign.
- seth Walker · v1.2.29
Que bueno que alcanze a descargarko cuando estaba gratis, si no me hubiese Perdido tremendo juego
- Juan francisco Coronado ortiz (Toto :v) · v1.2.29
I downloaded this game and the main menu looks fine. When you go into the game though it stretches it out and you can't see or read anything. Turning stretch image to no on the settings has no effect.
- Bailey Martin · v1.2.29
It hard but a very fun game
- Moke Exe
Amazingly addictive and hilariously dark
- Brittany Arriola · v1.2.29
Good time killer!
- Laz theman · v1.2.28
