Don't Starve: Pocket Edition

2025 and still no way to backup your save... not even with shizuku. - this game keeps pressing buttons from the start with gamepad. Is the only game that does this. can't press select/map without game trying to craft recent... same for hit button at start of a world.

it is good, I used to play this on my brothers pc, while there are plent of things that are still the same and great, things like purchasing characters or skins for them seems to not be an option here, or at least I have not found a way to do so yet. but other than that it is really good.

This has been one of my favorite games since it came out!!! The mobile version is incredible, the exact same experience, items, enemies, etc as the PC and console versions. The only difference I've noticed is that the world customization options are slightly restricted, you can't use the largest/most setting and the worlds are just a tad smaller. Also, on my very cheap low end phone, the frame rate goes down and the game slows some when in the pine forests or when lots of enemies are on screen.

okay so I bought this for $0.99 and it's good it's really really good it's exactly what I paid for a extremely challenging and funny but beautiful roguelike Survival game plus the game is just a good game I haven't noticed any problems aside from I'm pretty sure the archipelago problem but the game is literally meant for you to start over once you die so it's playable Inventory management kind of sucks butt if you can play it and there's no game breaking glitches it's a good game recommended.

semi-optimal. you can tell that the developer didn't take the time to test out certain aspects. of the game. try planting a tree and see how much of a struggle it can become. try dropping an item from the left side of your inventory.

Good, but not flawless. The good news is that Don't Starve: Pocket Edition is COMPLETELY OFFLINE... well, at the cost of no DLC content, and that saves are lost when you uninstall the game for some reason. There's also some minor issues with the touch controls, like issuing attack commands at the joystick, but the game has controller support.

Best survival game on the planet. Also, even though the controls are cluncky, you can get used to them and once you do, it feels even more rewarding to progress through the game because you know you play on a disadvantage compared to PC. 10/10 game. Can only recommend it to anyone who is looking for a survival game in which you can sink in a lot of hours and to get dedicated about. Klei is also an amazing company worth supporting every day of the week.

well it's the same game as in the PC with RoG DLC included, but it is worse on the touchscreen. planting and fighting is not easy in this game, placing buildings and splitting the resources take so much time that it can take almost half a day to organize things properly. oh, and the game does not have cloud saving, if you install the game in another phone with the same Google account it does not carry on the characters you unlocked. really sad

Greta game. Would need some tweaking. For example if you need to fertilize your grasses, bushes the repeat button does not work, so it's a bit finicky to do that. Would be nice if you could open chester and a chest at the same time to move things around. Most imortantly!! more options when it comes to controls. If you are 15 days in having a great run, picking manure from in between a herd of beefalo than clicking to attack accidentally just means you are dead...

It's fun. You have no idea what to do but each time you die (and you will) you learn more about the game. each level is different so you're gonna discover new ways to try and survive. it's worth the money if you're into survival/build games. I like picking it up randomly to play. 5/5

I love Don't Starve across all platforms. The visuals and replay value are very solid. Challenging gameplay is a good learning experience. I am genuinely both surprised and disappointed that Don't Starve Together and Oxygen Not Included aren't on mobile. Hopefully Klei can do a mobile port of those. Also Shipwrecked is pretty fun and challenging as well.
