- Eaze “Big sexy poppa yogi” steeg · v1.8.5

Great retro game😀

- Mark · v1.8.5

Control problem

This app shouldn’t cost money considering it doesn’t work properly. This is a borderline scam. You guys are so close, seriously just fix the controls and you would actually have a great port of the DD games.

- malogne · v1.3

I think this game is kind of like the the PS1 version just like how on the Android version because this is similar to the arcade version to the mobile game and it's pretty good

- Darrell Nichols

Controls don’t function properly.

Just like tho original but the area to tap for punch, jump, and kick are not centered on the buttons properly. Hitting the punch right in the center results in a back elbow that only should be activated when the punch and jump buttons are simultaneously pressed. Similar issues with the jump and kick buttons. Please fix. I love this game and miss it!!!

- babaganushy · v1.3

The Awesome Arcade Version

I love it! Works really well with the Backbone controller. Just like when I played it in the 80’s at that oldschool arcade. This is the best Arcade version with pristine graphics, music and sound effects. Perfect game mechanics. Get this if you remember how cool it was back in the day. It does not disappoint. **Can map the buttons too as you prefer. (Only thing you will miss is your 12 year old buddy on the player #2 joystick having your back.)

- You Don't Get the NES Games · v1.3

perfect port

- Sergio Trejo · v1.8.5

good

- salman shah · v1.8.5

This game seems to have a controller bug where it works fine with the D-pad on my Razor Kishi Ultra but the left thumb stick does not always work in the game to control the character. Also, I have a Galaxy S26 Ultra and this game is slow. Also, it looks horrible on my high resolution screen on my Galaxy S26 Ultra. The graphics definitely need a remaster.

- Jeffrey Raphael · v1.8.5

this was always going to get 5 stars. The only problem is the finger pad, but I will get used to that there are 5 double dragon games in the series. The first ones are always going to be the best memories of my childhood. In fact, there are 6 in the series not forgetting the neon version

- paul burbidge · v1.8.5

Controls

The controls on this game are absolutely horrendous. While the graphics and gameplay are like the arcade, the controls don’t work well—like randomly throwing a back elbow while punching your opponent giving them ample time to counter, or trying to do a forward jump kick, but somehow manages to kick in the opposite direction despite clearly having the controls in the correct position to do what you intended.

- grumpy foreskin · v1.3

Great port of the arcade games!

- Wayne Muse

I played this on Nintendo and it's just as much fun as I remember!

- James Barnett · v1.8.5

me and my dad ply it all the time and it's just amazing

- Ryan thomas mckie · v1.8.5

Just like the arcade version. Love it.

- daniel · v1.8.5

- Mekson J · v1.8.5

The on-screen controls are completely useless.

- Gregory O'Connell · v1.8.5

cool

- Matias Refugio · v1.8.5

perthetic game wont let me punch or kick nothing works .

- Jason William · v1.8.5

What is with these controls!? You can't be serious. These are the tiniest buttons I've ever seen on an android port. It's so bad, it must be a joke.

- august ritter · v1.8.5

Can u Make this game ( Share view cast ) so i can play on my TV ... That will be great , i played this when i was 9 yrs old n my Nintendo 👍🏻

- Nate Avendano · v1.8.5

identical to the old school arcade machine

- Mark Jochan (Jock) · v1.8.5

hey! I bought this game. long time ago, for some reason it allows me to access but then shuts it self and wouldn't let me play. please help. not cool.

- KENYO (Kenyo) · v1.8.5

Controls is a joke. The game is brutal, unforgiving. Hard. unbelievable. The game itself is a favorite classic, but bad control mechanics for the mobile version. :(

- Daniel · v1.8.5

just like the arcade one. thank you

- Daniel Juarez

The game is cool and has unforgiving difficulty. I just wish you could have and save multiple configurations for each game. And being able to make the buttons even bigger for newer phones. In which case just use a wireless controller or else it's hell for some.

- Game Changer · v1.8.5

fix the controls ! when you are punching one way . the character decides to punch in the wrong direction . I paid for this and it's unusable

- Owain · v1.8.5

takes me back to the 80s laundramat days

Great old 🎮

- Tony Kocovski · v1.8.5

Excellent

- Dan M · v1.8.5

It's a good game, controls are a bit twitchy, but It would be on a phone

- John Ambrose · v1.8.5

Wanting to experience the classics again, but this game is unplayable. The buttons are tiny you can barely press them. No real option to adjust the size as they are already on maximum size at default and they are tiny. There was a remake on playstation which was so much better than this. This needs reworking. Will edit my review if they ever update this game

- Bruce Wayne · v1.8.5

Easy to get what I need

- Michael Washington · v1.8.5

Nostalgia to the max, not sure why but the controls even when set to the largest size look like tiny dots. Controls are quite sticky and awkward at times which messes up the gameplay slightly. Wish for better and more responsive controls.

- Tiger_vii · v1.8.5

I loved it since I was a kid till now and I'm turning 47 years this year I love this game very much ❤️

- Garnet Ramonoana · v1.8.5

Missing Local Coop (Bluetooth)

- Fabian Sanchez Jr · v1.8.5

Fantastic, when Jesus's returns, he will play this game 🎮 👏 😀 👍 🙌 👌 🎮

- James Evans · v1.8.5

I would really really love controller support! Otherwise awesome game!

- A Google user · v1.8.3

Controls are awful

- Joe Mcguigan · v1.8.5

Good, but local co-op needs two devices. Bad. Local multiplayer means two players same screen, since it doesn't have this the game is bollocks to me. Defeats the purpose of arcade. Better run these games on SNES emulator.

- Wouter (Nod800) · v1.8.5

Reminds me good old days

- Moses.khumalo3045@gmail.com Rusty · v1.8.5

Takes me back! But the controls are AWEFUL. If they get fixed it’ll be perfect.

- Anderson_Barboza · v1.3

Tried to use on my iPad and the experience wasn’t good

I bought this since it’s a classic that reminds me my childhood but the experience was poor. Sounds and soundtrack does not work as expected and the game runs super fast which makes impossible to play.

I played this game since I was little kid. It brings me amazing memories. I used to stop in this arcade before school and I could pass the whole game with one quarter.

This is NOT the original version of double dragon, controls are messy and inconsistent, save your $3

- ihavryogoyowork · v1.3

- Latin taste · v1.3

Much better if you could choose the characters

Nobody can argue with double dragon it’s just that you can’t choose between the red dragon and the blue dragon another thing please add Back The multiplayer mode I’ve been dying without it

Double dragon

Reminds me of when I was a kid in the 80’s I love this game

- freddie mcgee · v1.3

Thanks for stealing

If you’re not going to continue to update the app then it needs to be free. The joystick gets stuck and you find yourself only able to move in one direction. You have to keep pausing the game to unstick it. Fix it or give me my $3 back.

- iAmCamFace · v1.3

Game was unplayable for years.

Nice of you to patch it after years of not being able to use it on iphoneX due to the controls being blown up and covering the entire screen. You guys are terrible I assume you only updated it because no one was buying it after years of you selling a broken app.

- Nick1979z · v1.3

This game is unplayable

It’s very unfortunate I wish the bugs could be fixed I should’ve realized with the last message that was sent not to purchase this game, but I did anyway hoping that I could play it on my platform iPhone 11. I spent three dollars for nothing. I hope the developers could get this game fixed the control nob and attack buttons fill the entire screen. Everything is enlarged and the game is unplayable. If I can give zero stars I would. It’s a shame because double dragon was awesome. DOTEMU please fix this bug so I could write about what an awesome job you guys did. I know it’s only three dollars but I don’t like wasting money.

- Eric from B.K. · v1.2

No good

This game should be taken down. It is unplayable

- Markie fl3tch · v1.2

Your customers need help

Please give us an update to fix the problems with the latest iOS updates. I purchased the Double Dragon 🐲 bundle along with other games that are not working properly because of the iOS update.

- action2280 · v1.2

Dont buy

Its impossible to play, the buttons are all mess up in the middle of the screen. I want my money back.

- DIEGOFLUIR · v1.2

Awesome beat’em up classic

Definitely one of the best arcade classic on today’s new devices. Unlike like others which bombard you with ads and convoluted menu which is completely unnecessary. This is exactly what it is and was from the 80s. The remix to the original music is a greatly appreciated touch and done right, with the option to switch to the original. Thank you for making the controls adjustable. And thank you for thinking it through with the video option as well as the game’s difficulty. If you’re into old school video games or Arcade1up classics then this game absolutely deserves to be in your collection. Get the original beat’em up godfather of them all. Yes - this came out before Final Fight.

- my_review · v1.2

Unusable game

Broken game

Just bought the game for my IPhone 12 Pro and can’t play it. The buttons won’t work. The only thing that works is the analog. You can’t jump, punch or kick. Very disappointed I paid 2.99 for a classic game that doesn’t work.

- Tank951 · v1.2

No Sound, broken controls

Love this game but the sound no longer plays and the controller configuration is busted, please update the game so we can get that classic double dragon sound back and fix the button configuration...

- Standing Dead · v1.2

Just bought and controls are broken

How is this still for sale when it is unplayable? Doesn’t Apple test these games before allowing them in the store? This is more broken than Cyberpunk. I feel very ripped off...

- iruejdndue · v1.2

Unplayable

Controls do not work wasted a dollar

- Bizzogol · v1.2

Controls are broken

The game is good, but the controls are broken and it is not playable right now. Do not buy this game until they fix the controls. Please developers, fix the controls please.

- Vue4Real · v1.2

Game is great but broken

Controls are broken. Doesn’t support entire screen. Can’t move controls off to the side and they cover the game so you can’t see. Also, the buttons are too large! Game is unplayable as is because of this!

- Tronix379 · v1.2

Great game but please please update

The game is great and I’ve been playing it for years but the developer needs to update the controls. Ever since iOS 13.3 the controls are broken, all the buttons are mashed together and this makes the game unplayable, same goes w R-Type and R Type 2. Please do not buy until it is updated. Dotemu please please please update the controls, does NOT work on iPhone XS, XS pro, 11pro, 11pro max but it does with the XR and the iPhone 11?? I pay premium but games don’t work with my Pro

- David de la torre · v1.2

Good game but one issue

I love the double dragon series but the controls are messed up and when I try to fix them it does not work.
