First time trying a paid game on Android, last time doing so. This port is bare bone, only has Arcade mode, that's it. Controller setup is so bad, tried tuning over and over, just can't get a simple forward jump to work 100%, forget about short hops. Combos I'm so familiar with when I played other KOFs on my PS4 just seems impossible to work. Even bought a new controller just to see if my PS4 controller has worn out, but it didn't fare any better.

Beautiful gameplay, I live that's it's a full functional game fully loaded, and it's easy to connect Bluetooth or wired connected controllers. it's also supports multiplayer and uploads scores online to the leaderboard.

going to be honest. this game plays better on antiquated emulators like neorage. not a great port. Rufunding because id rather buy a soda or something. SNK was my favorite flow over Capcom, but this a poor representation of an amazing classic.

Great adaptation for the IOS. This game becomes unresponsive to input once you add a second controller. I would pay for the option to add the Player 2 functionality when having 2 controllers connected.

Please fix the throttling issue. Game sometimes gets frame unlocked and it's too fast. You could just force v-sync or disable throttle option from the settings. We don't have access to disabling throttling.

No practice mode - No Vision Pro Compatibility

People pick up these kinds of games with intent to learn & master, or minimal be competitive. This is a FGC game, not casual corner. I highly doubt, swarms of casuals will buy this game. The core FGC player buys this game. You cater to your market. ❌ No UM version (sad) ❌ To NOT at MINIMUM have practice mode? (lazy devs in my eyes) Hamster could had easily ported over the 2002 version that comes w/ practice mode. Instead they chose to port the outdated, inferior version. Hamster ‘decided’ to port the oldest version of the game, for whatever reason, when they approached SNK to do negotiations on a port. Lost opportunity, and a weak approach - this was Hamster decision —> not SNK.

tried my joy cons with this and every single game made by hamster. No hamster game has controller support. Meanwhile Mark of the wolves works flawlessly. Dont buy any ports made by hamster if you want to use controllers, which is the only fun way to play these games. Better than DotEmu

It’s pretty good for what it is. Very clean UI, very good emulation, all of that. The game itself is very good, though difficult to be able to master (especially if you’re playing this on a phone). There isn’t a training mode, which, was disappointing but I wasn’t surprised since ACA never tends to add any training mode. Dashing is pretty hard to do in this version due to the digital stick, though. Overall pretty good, though as a K9999 main, I tend to struggle a little bit due to the not so great digital stick.

character speed changing to around 1.5 times while fighting, making the game unplayable because some moves need exact timing to pull off, my bluetooth controller doesn't work and the on-screen only offer Analog, No Directional Buttons or at least Arrows... I've played KOF 2002 since the first release and this is the worst experience... why port the neogeo version? if you dedicated enough, you can port the home console version but NO, you make us stick to the NeoGeo Version and that's not smart

I a bit dissapointed about this game. I thought at first before downloading this games, it will have short cut button for roll, special power (SP) and Super Power. I have purchase KOF 97 & 98 and it was superb with those button. Developer must understand, performing special move with analog is hard with smartphone touch screen. Hopefully developer will consider putting those shortcut button in this games. Thanks.

The game runs great and is pretty fun to play. Reminds me of my times playing in the arcade. The only issue I have is that the button mapping on gaming controllers is garbage. I tried a ps4 controller and nintendo joy con but both had useless controlls besides a attack, credit and pause button. Why do we have the option to connect controllers if they don't function properly? Why not add a way to modify the button mapping? I would have give five stars but the controller thing is big let down.

Overall the game is good but it lacks training mode, wifi or bluetooth player versus and the option to change the controls from arcade stick to directional D-pad. Some couple more screen filters would be beneficial. Same goes for SamSho 4, add these functions there too. Please publish Real Bout Fatal Fury special and the 2nd title Real Bout Fatal Fury 2 The Newcomers and The Last Blade 2

I'm writing this review because of button configuration for ps4 controllers connected through bluetooth. I have both 98 and 2002, I have no problems with my ps4 controller playing KOF98. Other than that, I love the KOF series and am glad to play them through my phone.
